I was wondering the same thing - he did make a cameo appearance at the end. I'm guessing that he was on tour, or filming a movie or something at that point in time (The Complete Dukes of Hazzard did not mention where John Schneider was when that episode was being filmed). On a side note from that episode - I laughed hysterically when Rosco was pretending to die from the champagne. That was a wonderful display of physical comedy! LS3

just_me, First off - welcome to HazzardNet! I know how frightening it can be to get your license, especially when someone you know dies in a car wreck. When I first got my learners permit someone in my high school died in a car accident and it was tough to get back in the car and start driving. But where I lived, I didn't have a choice, if I wanted to go anywhere I had to drive. The best advice I can give you is to take it slowly, if possible when you first start driving, stay more in the country, light traffic, don't go right into the middle of the city to start, if you can help it. It will probably be scary for the first few times, but it will be worth it. One thing that always helps me is to have the radio on low (most instructors will say not to, but I find that as long as you leave it on one station and don't get distracted by changing it, it helps you when you're nervous). I'm sorry, I don't know the actual thread, if I happen to see it I will let you know. I'll admit, I'm not overly crazy about the newest version of the song, and the radio station I listen to at work has started to play it...so it's sort of stuck in my head (at least the melody - I can hardly understand a word of it!). Double 0 was only in the reunion movie, not in the actual series. The reference to the fact that Double 0 was the only car to ever beat the General Lee in an overland car race was a plot device. LS3

Is it possible you are thinking of a few episodes where there were replacements for Rosco or Cooter? Also, Cletus "replaced" Enos as the deputy in season 3, though Cletus is not generally considered a replacement but rather another member of the cast. LS3

Personally, I think this guy deserves to be taken down a notch or two. There are many better-qualified candidates who have particpated in the Duke's fandom since long before CMT announced that there was 100 grand available to the "biggest" Duke's fan! I get angry every time I think about him representing those of use who are true Duke's fans. So I say, "Go for it", Brian! LS3

Just out of curiousity, do you know when that review was published? Also - it seems almost impossible that anyone doesn't at least know what the Dukes of Hazzard is, between TNN and CMT bringing the show back over the past few years, plus the DVD's, reunions and video games.
