  1. What I find unique is, in the first 2 episodes Bo and Luke don't wear their knives atall. Episode 3 "Mary Kayes Baby" is when The Boys are seen with the knives for the first time. Along with what others have said on good episodes to catch what knives the boys used. In "Arrest Jesse Duke" we not only get to see what knife Bo is using in that episode "Buck 112 Ranger" easily identifiable because of the curved front bolster. But we also see Luke's knife in the same episode. Luke pulls his knife out to unlock the door to the store the car strippers are using to sell the stolen goods. Luke's in that episode is a Buck 110. Another good episode to catch Luke's knife is "The Rustler's" Luke can be seen using his knife to pick the seeds out of his piece of watermelon. That episode Luke is using a Buck 110 In "Duke vs Duke" and "The Canterbury Crock" Luke is using a Buck 112 Ranger to dig at his finger nails. The easiest way I've been able to tell what knives the boys are using for a particular episode without actually seeing the knife. Is by studying the sheath. Luke is mostly seen using a Buck 110, but on episodes we don't see him using his knife, he is usually carrying a 112 ranger sheath. The 112 sheath is a good deal smaller than the 110. Bo is mostly seen carrying the 112 sheath and seen using the knife.
  2. I really should get into it just for the handiness of it Lol Especially for model builds. I would like to build Cooters Chevelle. But the hood used on the car might be hard to find and I'm not sure if I could find an exact copy of it, so why not learn to build one myself.
  3. That makes two of us. I continued looking at the parts they carried, and they have some parts for the MPC Dodge Chargers. Aswell as a 1/25 Dixie Horns and Compressor
  4. Was looking around and came across this 3D Printing company called ShapeWays. And seen they have parts for the Georgia Era General Lee for Revell's 1968-70 Dodge Chargers
  5. Late October 1977, - Balladeer "Well since moonshine season is just about over with, Uncle Jesse and the boys decided to make one last liquor run" Early in the morning just before dawn. The boys headed into to town to grab 100 pounds of sugar. Uncle Jesse stayed back at the farm to finish grinding up some malted corn he had sprouted a week prior. - Bo "Turns his head to speak to Luke while riding shotgun in the truck and says, Well Luke you reckon we ought to bring Cooter in on this run?" - Luke "I know what you mean cousin, something just ain't feelin right about this run, things around Hazzard have just been to calm lately." After grabbing the sugar. Bo and Luke head over to the garage and meet up with Cooter - Cooter "What cha say lead foot, how's it going Farrah Fawcett" -Luke "Hey Coot, we gotta ask ya something. How'd you feel about helping us out with this run. Something just ain't feeling right and we could use another set of eyes............................................

  7. The General was green in the episode "Southern Comfurts" and Black in "Happy Birthday General Lee" Those are the only times The General was a different color that comes to mind haha
  8. Have you seen the movie Django Unchained? Luke had a small part in that movie as a towns marshall I also saw another movie a while back with Tanya Tucker, Paulie Shore and John Schneider. I cant remember what the name of the movie was but Bo played as a dirty/crooked sheriff
  9. That would be a negative there cousin Skipper Duke ha, I will definitely check YouTube and see if the movie is in there!
  10. I appreciate it good buddy. I'll probably just take some of the styrene left over from the kits and file it to shape and take a pen vise drill bit and drill a small hole in the center to ad the wire
  11. I appreciate that I really do! I try not to think to hard about putting gasoline with 10% ethanol in my tank knowing Uncle Jesse had a hand in it. If it was alright with him then I reckon it's alright with me haha
  12. Night of the Twisters is a great movie. I really enjoyed Legend of the Ruby Silver. Has a nice twist towards the end.
  13. Thank you! I find it quite fun coming up with little back/side stories to the show. Cause the show leaves a lot to the viewers imagination on what could have happened before and after an episode aired. For instance like in "High Octane" I'm gonna say Uncle Jesse absolutely won that alternative to fossil fuels contest. Seeing how we have ethanol added to fuels and even E85. But somehow he could have been cheated from the royalties. Maybe a minor tweak in the formula so they could keep all the profits to themselves. Just interesting things like that haha
  14. I appreciate it. It's the only thing I could think of on why Boss and Jesse are no longer friends. Because it never really does say in the show. And why Rosco turns to a dishonest lawman. But they do say in the show a couple times about Rosco getting cheated of his pension. So since the system cheated him, he decides to cheat the system
  15. 10-4 Good Buddy. "To make a long story short" the basis is "Summer of 1977. The reason for that date is even though the dukes originally premiered in January 1979, it started filming in 1978. And in the pilot episode Waylon says the boys got caught last year. Which would be 1977 in my story haha. Boss and Uncle Jesse are still good friends but fading. Boss gets a huge contract deal to sell some shine to some high end buyers. But they are contemplating on going with Jesse because he makes the better shine. They only decided to go through Boss first because of familiarity. Boss devices a plan to make Jesse no longer the competition. Even if it means bad blood between them because "money is thicker than blood" Rosco has been defeated of his pension. And after 20 years as an honest lawman. He turns sides and teams up with Boss to get a cut of the shine profits. Since Rosco is alot smarter in the Georgia episodes than later seasons. He decides to place surveillance on Bo and Luke. And since he knows the boys aren't going to lead him directly to the still site. He has Boss place a friendly call to one of Jesse's buyers to set up a deal and sell him shine at a lower rate than Jesse. Knowing that the buyer is gonna contact Jesse to let him know Boss is wanting to sell him shine. But it's a trick, to lure Bo and Luke out with shine in hand. So the next morning Rosco places a call to the federal revenue agents to make it a federal case and Rosco and the revenuers follows Jesse's buyer and then it happens. They surround Bo and Luke who are transporting shine and taking them in to custody.
  16. Both of those are good aswell, I just wasn't trying to make a super long list haha

  18. Sure that sounds interesting. I've thought of a few ideas on how Bo and Luke could have been originally arrested to be put on probation
  19. Arthur Hunnicutt is one of the greatest actors who ever lived. Along with his western movies. He had a great role in Bonanza. The episode is called "Any friend of Walter's" Him and Hoss Cartwright hunker down in his cabin against some outlaws
  20. I thought of another one. Ellie the drug store clerk also played in The Dukes episode with Mickey Gilley. Where she is after the music pirates
