Weatherman was the driver that the crew member attacked after the Xfinity race. Maybe that's what the fight was over?

I'm still confused. They talk about Joey Logano...I'd say most definitely him. But I don't know why he'd snitch on himself. Though it's Joey Logano, so no one really knows, I guess. LOL

Me?? Oh, you mean I have an idea of who the snitch is! YES!! Re-read the whole thing and look at it carefully.

Back at the Boar's Nest, Garrett remains crouched down behind a large leafy bush with a mouth full of parking lot dust as the law finally drives away. After they are out of sight, Garrett stands up, spitting out the dry dust and glancing around a long moment before he steps out from under the bush. As he does so, he sees Roy's truck back out and quickly pulls up alongside of him. Garrett sighs a sigh of relief before throwing open the door and climbing in. Closing the door, he turns to Roy and says, "I thought I told you to leave."
Roy shrugs. "You can even ask my ma, I've never been good at listening," he grins crazily, "I bet you're glad of that now."
"If you say so," Garrett dryly responds, refusing to show any emotion.
"Anyway, I stayed in my truck and waited to see when y'all would come out to see if you needed any help. But lo and behold, you took the coward's way out and hid," Roy states as they leave the parking lot, "which just left me to wait until you decided to brave enough to reappear."
"I ain't no coward," Garrett hisses, "it was either go to jail, fight the law and add more charges onto their fake charges of me, or to get out of there. I chose to get out."
"I know, I know. I just wanted to get a rise out of you," Roy smiles smugly and looks over at Garrett, "and it worked."
"Just drive," Garrett states as he sinks down into his seat.
    "Where to?" Roy asks.
"I don't -" Garrett starts to say before he spots the sheriff's car up ahead turning off onto another dirt road, "follow the sheriff at a distance. Don't let him spot you. He spots us, we are both going to jail."
"Woo hoo a car chase!" Roy laughs crazily, "A slow car chase, but hey...it's still a car chase!"
Garrett eyes him before he lights up another cigarette. "I'm glad you're excited about it," he dryly states, "I'm just hoping they'll lead us to something or somewhere seeing as how we got pulled into this mess and then left out to dry."
Roy nods. "Maybe Bo and Luke kidnapped Bill and Ernie!" he says with excitement in his voice as he slowly turns where the sheriff had turned, "That's why they weren't at the Boar's Nest as we had been expecting! Ooooo they gonna be in trouble!"
"So will we if we get caught," Garrett states blowing out smoke, "don't let him see us."
"Ten four grumpo," Roy responds, "but what you think Bo and Luke are doing to Bill and Ernie? Poor Bill and Ernie."
Garrett just rolls his eyes and stares out the window.

Oh my goodness. Daisy Duke at 70! She's still the second prettiest girl in Hazzard after Emma Tisdale. We love you Daisy. Have a great birthday Friday!
Edit: Opey Taylor turns 70 on the same day.

I went through that when I had my Ninja. Young men in cars see you are on something that looks fast and want to challenge you.
It reminds me of that Waylon quote  "If any of y'all ever drive through Hazzard, well you might remember that if it's got wheels, folks tend to want to race it." (Mrs. Daisy Hogg)

Boss JD Hogg... You were the same as me when I discovered it. Wow! Small word. I discovered it on TNN(The Nashville Network/The National Network/Spike TV)in 1996 when that channel aired reruns. I was 9.

I was 14 when it started and it still brings back memories and I keep one DVD in my machine and fall asleep to it every night. It's the comfort of going to a world I love and remember, whether I literally lived there or not!

I watched The Dukes Of Hazzard from the beginning.  I was 9 years old when it first aired.  I was so happy that the show did well in the ratings and was on for a few years.

WOW!! I can't believe it's been that long! I remember the big thing for us when we were in 9th-10th grade, was Friday night sitting in front of the TV, watching the show. My friends did the same! We were too young to drive and go cruising, so this was the big time for us! 40 yrs.....so hard to believe.....!! Oh, and welcome back PJ! Don't be a stranger! Long time no see!

What a hysterical day that was.....and historical. Thanks so much for posting these. It' s so good to have PJ back here in Hazzard County. It sure doesn't seem like 40 years whenever I put a DVD in and hit play.

I knew this anniversary was coming up, but had a busy weekend and forgot. I could've sworn I'd posted the listing below already on HNet, but couldn't find it. It's from British TV guide the Radio Times, and shows details of the debut of 'One Armed Bandits' (NB. I've rearranged the original layout to make it more screen-friendly).

I've just noticed that they misspelled Gy's names as Guy near the bottom.

    Hi folks,
My first time on the forum in a LONG time (in fact, I've just spent two hours trying to remember which email I used so I could access my old account).
One of my goals is to post MUCH more regularly this year, but for now... It's a key date for U.K. fans such as myself... as Sat 3rd March 1979 marked the first time 'The Dukes of Hazzard' was ever broadcast in the United Kingdom!

My all-time favourite TV series, that shaped myself, my interests and my character in so many ways. Literally my first memories in life are sitting on my father's knee watching the series (he watched it religiously every week, on the excuse that "he (meaning me) likes it")!
BBC1 showed the first four episodes in a Saturday 9 p.m. slot, before a brief break and resuming a month or so later with episode 5, "High Octane" on Mondays at 7:20 p.m. (a year or two later it would move again to it's early Saturday evening slot where the series would enjoy it's highest U.K. viewing figures). Although I'm pretty certain I would have been tucked up in bed for those first four episode (I would have been 1 year old at the time), I'm pretty certain that by some of those earliest Monday broadcasts I would have been sat on my Dad's knee watching it all.

Last year I pieced together the original U.K. broadcast history and order for the series (I might share it on the forum at some point actually), just to see what was shown in what order... and to try and piece together my very earliest memories; it was actually quite therapeutic.

For those of us that were there originally (even us who can barely remember it), we were very lucky. Will never see the likes of such a TV series again.

We had grandkids for the weekend so I didn't see any of it but caught some highlights. In fact, I didn't even see dirt bikes. I do have them recorded and have started to watch one race at a time. They have 8 races. 4 heat races, 2 last chance qualifiers and 2 main events. They use 250cc and 450cc motorcycles.

Back to NASCAR...we are racing at Chase Elliott's home track in Atlanta. Hopefully that'll bring him the luck he needs to find his way back to Victory Lane. I remember years ago when John Schneider gave the opening command there or sang the National Anthem or both. It's been awhile, but I was excited when it was him. This year's race will be Sunday at 3 ET on FOX.
Also a couple of cars from Stewart - Haas Racing had parts taken for further inspection. Any penalties that may come from that will be handed out later. Here is the article. Parts confiscated from Stewart-Haas Racing's Nos. 10, 41 cars | NASCAR
