This one cat we had would, if he was sleeping wake up, or come running from the other rooms when he heard Bob Ross's voice on tv. And he would sit there and watch the whole episode. God help you if you changed the channel lol. When company was over and wanted to watch something different he would protest . Then when the episode was over he'd go back to whatever he was doing before.

Norm retired from This Old House and New Yankee Workshop. I think he would have made more Yankee Workshop episodes but financing became an issue. According to Wikipedia he has bought a new 'old' house in Rhode Island and is building a new workshop and learning shipbuilding. Roger Cook on This Old House unfortunately got very ill and passed away. They did a special about him. Tom Silva and Richard Trethewey are still on the show though. Since WB/Discovery bought This Old House they changed the format up. Now they show 3 houses a season in about 8 episodes each with 2 new builders across the country. They do one house a season in the Massachusetts area. A lot less showing how things are built though but I get it America has a short attention span these days.

Got an inch and a half of rain the other night. It'll help but unfortunately next 7-10 days there's barely any rain forecasted. The drought at work has ended too for now. Got slammed with orders this week which is great, hopefully it keeps up for a while so we can build savings back up after the car repair earlier this month. The other night I was able to get a close up picture of a hummingbird hawk moth that was on one of my prairie sunflowers. There was about 4 of them fluttering around the garden. One happened to land on a 5 foot tall flower and sat there long enough for me to get several pics of it.

Finally had some rain here today. Not enough to wet the ground but more is forecasted every day this week. Hope your back feels better soon Roger.

No but I did watch his show as well. This guy worked only with antique tools. It was The Woodwrights Shop with Roy Underhill. After googling it he was from North Carolina.

Dukes of Hazzard of course seasons 6 & 7 I remember watching as a child, local CBS station aired reruns on Saturday mornings. Knight Rider Star Trek reruns Star Trek The Next Generation Buck Rogers Mama's Family The Simpsons Garfield and Friends Batman the animated series Batman and Robin reruns Looney Tunes Teenage mutant ninja turtles Married with Children Cheers Murder She Wrote when I was at the grandparents house. Motorweek This Old House Don't remember the name but it was a Yankee guy that woodworked with antique tools on PBS. The intro was him running through the woods to his woodshop. Local PBS channel ran reruns of it up until a few years ago. Wife loved when it would come on Saturday afternoons because she would take great naps . Thomas and Friends also had George Carlin for a season or two as narrator as well.

Went to the local GM plant's car show today. Over 300 cars, possibly 400 showed up. One that stuck out for me was a restored Hudson pickup truck. Never seen one before. Since it was invitation only it was pretty much hot rods and muscle cars. They might go back to open registration again next year. Few years ago they had some trouble with a few people and police showed up so that's when they made it invitation only, you have to work there or worked there or know someone that works there that will write you in.

They're currently running the 2024 Camaro body and probably will next season as well.

Connor got really lucky there. It seems he slipped on the window net and then his one foot got trapped when he was falling. Rumor is Kaulig racing will switch from Chevy to Dodge/Ram. It's expected that they will race the Ram 1500 in truck series and the Charger in the soon to be O'Reilly's auto parts series and Cup series. It's unknown if they will use a v8 or try to get the "Hurricane" inline 6 in NASCAR in the upper series. I assume they'll use a V8 as it will be cheaper to develop since they could just update the one they used in NASCAR before.
