  1. Another interesting Wal*Mart find.... This car reminded me of the car driven by Jerry Rushing, the man whose real-life moonshine-running days inspired "Moonrunners" and hence the Dukes of Hazzard. The main difference is that Traveller was a 1958 Chrysler 300D and this is the 1957 Chrysler 300C. Basically the same car but one model year older.
  2. Did Mego ever make Coy & Vance dolls? I don't think they did but I could be wrong.
  3. I ran into that very same dilemma when playing the Oddworld games on PS2.
  4. Veteran of the Boy Scouts here, in fact Eagle Scout from 1990. Just want to say I am behind what the Boy and Girl Scouts are about 100% and behind extremist politicians 0%. You just keep plugging away and don't worry about what some uninformed vote-seekers are doing for the sake of notoriety.
  5. Oh....I almost forgot....Welcome to Hazzardnet!
  6. This would be the first I've ever heard of a 66 or 67 being used. Are you sure you heard that right? Keep in mind the difference between the 66-67 style Charger and the 68-70 was pretty hard to miss... as opposed to
  7. Found this at the Walmart I work at. I figured folks here could probably find the same irony in it as I did....
  8. Well THIS is my kind of news! Thanks for the info gents! Here's another link, too.
  9. Hope this is the right place to mention this. I finally took the opportunity to watch John Schneider's "WWJD" (What Would Jesus Do) movie and I have to say I'm more than pleased with the $5.00 I bought the DVD for at Walmart. If you get a chance, this movie is very powerful and worth the watch! John Schneider is only listed as "the drifter" who finds his way into a town being taken over by a highly corrupt politician who plans to clear out the church building in favor of a casino. The church, already severely stricken by dwindling attendance of the members, is frenzied into a reawakening when the drifter bursts in and lights a spiritual fire in all those attending one Sunday before collapsing into a coma. God bless Mr. Schneider for his hand in making this. It's a VERY powerful movie!
  10. Yeah Ben Jones is an awesome guy to meet. I highly recommend if you can make it to do so. You will be glad you did!
  11. I appreciate the friendly welcome, thanks! And I have to say your avatar fits your style nicely!

  12. Thanks for stopping by!

  13. Also, I know there is a lot of love for Charlie Daniels here, but another possible choice I had for Uncle Jesse was L.Q. Jones, veteran western actor who inspired me with his performance as 3-fingered Jack in Mask of Zorro:
  14. Don't know if this was already posted here or not, but I found this kind of funny and figured I'd share the 25 ways to spot a fake General Lee. Being a VW bug fan I was kinda partial to #10 on the list myself.
  15. I'd have to be right there with you then since I have all 7 seasons on DVD and even the crappy 2000's movies!
  16. So far, just from home. But I have Clear's "go-anywhere" plan so I may log on from work on nights when I don't go anywhere for lunch at work.
  17. Thanks for the warm welcome! I have to say I like the different way things are done here.

  18. Thanks, all of you! Also subjected for your approval....a photo of me & Ben Jones from 2005 when I met him at World of Wheels in Minneapolis, MN..
  19. I had this same cast in mind way back in 1997. I haven't really ever comer up with a good Bo & Luke (although neither did WB when they made the movie) but now I would cast Tom Welling as Luke.
  20. I like this idea. Nothing worse than spam in a well-loved forum!
