  1. Yes, be grateful you have your health. My Christmas cheer has been running low too because I'm too sick to decorate or do all the things I'd like to do to get ready for the holidays. The last two years have been a neverending battle with health issues. The one thing I want for Christmas is to be healthy.
  2. My husband says Jimmie wore Stetsons and Resistols, but he's not sure on the models. The crowns back then were a higher style than today, so your best bet is to look for vintage hats on eBay or something.
  3. My husband is a bit of a Rosco hat expert. He's done extensive research and bought/shaped his own. Your best bet is a Stetson (which can get pricey), but I'll ask him if he knows what models.
  4. Burt Reynolds passed away today. He and Jimmie were close. I still remember at Jimmie's 75th birthday, he was surprised by a video birthday message from Burt (and Paul Newman too). It was so thoughtful and great. He'll be missed.
  5. All the time. I must be the same age. LOL.
  6. "I've worked seven days a week, 80 hours a week, at least since 1978." I have no doubt he works hard, but I am willing to call BS on this statement. That is hard to keep up for 40 years. And acting is not a very consistent gig. Should have had insurance on the studio. He's been divorced twice. One would think he would have had a pre-nup the second time. In his defense though, it sounds like his wife is responsible for a lot of his fortune disappearing in the first place. (https://theblast.com/john-schneider-financial-problems/) "Schneider also lays some of the blame for his financial hardship on Elvira. He claims when she filed for divorce in 2014, she also withdrew $200,000 from their joint account and transferred it to a separate account without his consent. He also claims Elvira “never attempted to work or even find work” during their marriage. Schneider also claims she ran up $15,000 per month on their American Express and put them both “in severe debt to commercial institutions, the IRS and the state government.""
  7. While I tend to agree with you, $19,000 a MONTH in alimony is a bit excessive, especially with the kids grown.
  8. I'm going to do some walking today, trying to get my strength back. Enjoying the sunshine and quiet in our backyard, well... except for all the baby starlings that make a ruckus at our feeders now and then.
  9. My husband saw a lady wearing a Dukes of Hazzard shirt in the grocery store the other day. He told her, "I LOVE that show!"
  10. Enjoy your weekend, Roger! We'll be doing some grilling if the weather is good. Other than that, not a whole lot of plans.
  11. Ok, forum software has been updated AGAIN. Also, I updated our privacy policy to bring it into compliance with GDPR. Remember the days when you could run a fun community website and not have to pay a lawyer? I miss those days. The server move will probably happen sometime this weekend.
  12. I love my mother-in-law too. We get along great. She treats me like the daughter she never had.
  13. Well, it's a good thing my mother-in-law came to visit and I put off updating the software, because there's ANOTHER update. LOL. I'll be updating sometime in the evening in the next few days.
  14. I hear Laurel. My husband and his mom both hear Yanny, though hubby says it sounds like Yammy. I have some hearing loss from working around server racks, so that would explain why I can't hear the higher pitched Yanny.
  15. You can say that again!
  16. I linked it for you.
  17. It figures, the day after I finally upgrade the software they come out with another update. I will be bringing the site down for a short while in the next day or so to 1) update the software and 2) move the site to a new server. I'll try to do it late at night to cause the least amount of disruption. With the server move, however, it may be up to 24 hours for the DNS updates to propagate across the internet.
  18. I'll look into that. After the upgrade, there were borders around EVERYTHING and it was kind of annoying. Fixing that probably blew away the post borders.
  19. 1969 Dodge Chargers, even ones that need a lot of work, go for a pretty penny. I've seen non-running rust buckets go for more than $5000.
  20. Awww, shucks. Thanks, guys.
  21. I updated the forums tonight. Looks like functionality is ok, but some of the colors might be wonky. I'll try to clean it up in the morning. In the meantime, if you find any issues, please post them here or PM me.
  22. Ok, I think that fixed it. Let me know if the problem continues.
  23. Yeah, I had a flare start in late 2016 and have been on a rollercoaster ever since. I was diagnosed when I was 10 though, so been dealing with it off and on for several decades.
  24. I've been watching a LOT of Olympics. Getting over my second bout of the flu this year while still dealing with horrible autoimmune issues. But, I'M STILL ALIVE AND KICKING! LOL.
  25. Well, we expected about an inch of snow and that it would melt in time for us to go over to my sister's for Christmas dinner and my birthday party. We ended up getting about 3 1/2 inches of snow and in our area, that's "snowed in" because they don't plow the mile of road from our house to the main arteries. No BBQ Christmas dinner and cheesecake dessert for us. We made the best of it though, made a snowman. Hubby made fudge and raspberry cream pie. He's throwing together some last minute chicken and stuffing for dinner. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
