"You know, I kind of get it now. You're just too much of a wimp to handle all that you could of had. Your loss I guess which makes it your cousin's gain. I don't blame you. God knows I probably should but it's been nine years since you dumped me and...well honestly since that day I thank God Jeb was more of a man than you were. And Daisy. You really shouldn't be angry with him. He's right, he can't handle me and we were better off as friends. Sure he took the cowards way out but...in the end it worked out. He's got a girl he loves with all his heart and they're gonna have a baby and me well I got a man who knows what to say and when to say it. I'm glad that he dumped me then and didn't just put up with me but I do think you should leave and give me some girl time with Daisy." Lizzy says leaning against the doorway. Luke, seeing his chance leaves the room.

"I'm sorry I hurt Lizzy but...I couldn't handle her upset, hell I still can't. Kathy's not like Lizzy. Kathy has Lizzy's fire but I doubt Kathy can get as spitting mad as Lizzy can. We ain't gonna break up and it is gonna work out. I'm really sorry I hurt Lizzy but it was for the best. Lizzy belongs with Jeb and everyone can see that. I was holding her back and I was too stupid to tell her that when it started. After I saw her get pissing mad over one thing I just couldn't help it. I practically begged for a way out because I didn't want her to be that mad at me." Luke says.

"Every boy in Hazzard is scared to death of Lizzy's temper. There hasn't been a boy that's dated her that his main reason for dumping her is her temper even if he doesn't want to admit it. No one except maybe Jeb can handle that girl and I was stupid to try. I'm sorry that upsets both of you but it's true. I was too scared of her temper and too stupid to talk to her so I used the first excuse I could get to get out of it." Luke says.

"Daisy I'm...I'm sorry." Luke says.

"Scared of what?" Lizzy asks.

"I knew towards the end that it wasn't working but...the way he said it, it was like he knew all along that we weren't gonna work out. If he knew it all along then why didn't he turn me down and say we were better off friends?" Lizzy asks.

Jeb looks at Bo and then grimaces. "He's making this so much harder on me." Jeb sighs. "Can you watch her for a bit?" Bo nods and Jeb walks out. "Lizzy." "How could he Jeb? I thought...I thought he was better than that." Lizzy says.

"You didn't have the heart to turn me down?" Lizzy asks with tears in her eyes. "I really thought you felt something more for me. You should have just said that." Then Lizzy turned on her heal and ran out. Jeb who had been right behind Lizzy with Heather glared at Luke. "He made Mommy cry. Why is Mommy crying?" Heather asks looking up at Jeb. "I don't know sweetie but he's gonna go fix it." Jeb answers making the last three words a demand to Luke.

"Yeah right. Stop trying to make Lizzy look bad." Bo says coming up behind Luke. "What really happened was after Lizzy and I broke up Lizzy ran to Luke for comfort. That comfort and friendship was given a shot to bloom into something more but...She was too much of a firecracker for him. Jeb asked him to dump her so Jeb could have his chance and seeing his way out Luke did what Jeb asked. He just didn't have the heart to tell Lizzy that they were better off friends."

"So you're blaming this all on her?" Rosco asks. "She asked you out and you couldn't turn her down?"

"Why did you date Lizzy if you felt nothing for her?" Rosco asks.

"Guess you'll just have to wait. Now tell me what really drew you to my daughter? Was it the fact that you really like her or is it because you're still pining over Lizzy?" Rosco asks.

Lizzy slowly slips out of Daisy's room and looks at Rosco and Luke in the hallway. "You had better not be fixin' to go in there. I just got her calmed down and asleep. You wait around here for a while and if you dare bet on my relationship with Jeb I will skin and fry you alive." Lizzy says before leaving the hospital.

"I wouldn't do it just yet if I were you. Lizzy's still in there." Rosco says.

"Well uh...Listen I don't really like it. No pop in Hazzard wants to find out his little girl is pregnant by a Duke boy but...you treat her right you hear?" Rosco says nervously. "As for that bet you have with your cousin and Enos on Lizzy and Jeb I say a week and a half."

"Hey it's alright. Let me check with the Atlanta police." Lizzy says pulling out her cell phone and calling. "Atlanta police and jail what can I do for you?" A bored male voice answers. "Yeah do you have a prisoner there by the name of James Dasani?" Lizzy asks. "James Dasani? Yeah why?" "Can I speak with him?" "Sure one moment." Lizzy flips it to speaker phone as she continues to console Daisy. "This is Dasani." "Hey Jimmy." "Lizzy, doll baby. What can I do for a pretty girl today?" "Did you call Daisy today?" "Daisy? As in that brunette that I hurt 18 years ago? No way. I can't call anyone for another two weeks besides I swore that I wouldn't contact any of them." Jimmy answers. "She says you're out of prison and that you called her." "I didn't. Listen it may be a scare tactic. Ever since Clay and Angelena visited my parents Dad's been a little hell bent on getting custody. Listen you have to protect them. Don't let him near my kids. I know he won't get custody of those two but please protect Molly with all your heart and soul. I know you love that little girl don't let my parents have her." Jimmy begs. "Don't worry I'm not giving her up." "Congrats on the kid Lizzy. That Duke boy has done you well. See ya later." "Thanks Jimmy." Lizzy says. "See nothing to worry about." Lizzy hangs up the phone and looks at Daisy.

"Yeah I know. Let's go see what we can do." Luke says.

"That can't be right. He swore to me he'd do his time." Lizzy says.

"If I remember correctly last time we placed bets on Lizzy's relationship with Jeb she won." Luke says.

"He told me so himself." Lizzy says. "Now what else is bothering you?"

"Ten bucks says he has her in three days." Bo answers. "And I say ten he doesn't get her until next week." Luke says. "You think Daisy will want in?"

"He understands that Daisy. He knows you were just a kid and you couldn't handle it." Lizzy says. "He doesn't blame you."

"Good but to move on to a different topic, how much you want to bet Jeb will have Lizzy believe he loves her by the end of the week." Luke says.

"Well the beginning is usually the best place." Lizzy says.
