  1. Cooter sighs knowing he had just gone over this with Tom and Bo both. "It wasn't your fault and you couldn't have stopped it. Lizzy would really hate it to know you're blaming yourself and she'd tell you that you aren't the one to blame. Only Danny can be blamed for his stupidity and thoughtlessness. You came in when she needed you the most and that means the world to her." Cooter says.
  2. "He was a lot like Bo, the sweet and innocent part but...he didn't quite have the charm. Lizzy never fell for him but for your cousin instead. I just wish none of this ever happened." Cooter sighs.
  3. "His name's Danny Martin. Mom was always fond of him. Knew him since he was in diapers. He's always had a crush on Lizzy but I never thought he'd go this far. It's just something no one ever expected from him." Cooter says shaking his head.
  4. "No Daisy. Her safety is more important at the moment. You didn't scare her off in the first place. The fact that you came looking for her and did as she asked to get her to the hospital shows her how much you love her. I know she'll be relying on you a lot her first couple of days out of the hospital." Cooter says.
  5. "Because I know her and I know the potential strength her love can be for Bo if she lets it loose. It's the kind of love you and Enos have it's just gonna take a bit of work. Lizzy's scared right now and she'll run to the place she feels safest." Cooter says.
  6. "It'll be alright I promise. If you're still uncomfortable here I could set you up in Chickasaw with my cousin L.B. until Lizzy gets out of the hospital." Cooter says.
  7. "If she does I'll take care of her. If I'm not here Buster will take care of you and you're welcome to fire anyone of the guns in the house. Shooting her in the foot or the leg won't kill her only slow her down." Cooter says.
  8. "She ain't coming back and if she does this time she ain't getting a warning I'm just gonna fire." Cooter says.
  9. Soon she was gone and Cooter turned to Daisy. "Are you alright?" Cooter asks. Buster too drops his stance and looks up at Daisy with his big puppy dog eyes.
  10. Buster jumped in front of Daisy and between the two girls sinking low and growling showing his teeth. "I'd leave if I were you." Cooter says.
  11. "I don't think so. You're wanted by every law enforcement agency from here to Oklahoma. You're trespassing on private property, the sign says beware of dog...I can't and won't be able to control Buster if he decides to take a chunk out of your leg. NOW GET OFF MY PROPERTY." Cooter says aiming the shotgun.
  12. Cooter comes out with a shot gun in hand. "You're trespassing on private property and I can not be held liable for what happens if you don't leave." Cooter says.
  13. "You probably shouldn't have told me that then." Lizzy says. Eventually the morphine wears off leaving Lizzy with small chest pains and a large headache. "Oh pain killers please." Lizzy begs. "You get loopy on painkillers you can't have any more but if you give me your hand I'll make it go away." Tom says. He had been let back after a while. Luke and Daisy had gone home after much persuading from Tom. Bo had stuck around wandering the hospital at times until he gave up and got comfortable in a chair. "Now I remember why I'm mad at you but you know what...I don't care anymore." Lizzy says. "So you're not mad at me?" Bo asks. "I am a bit but I'm willing to give you a chance to change and we'll work it out somehow." Lizzy says. "Thank you." Bo says smiling at her. Lizzy just smiles back.
  14. "I know that name...like the guy I was mad at but...you're too sweet looking for me to be mad at. Will you stay a while?" Lizzy asks.
  15. "Do I know you?" Lizzy asks. Meanwhile out in the waiting room Luke looks at Tom. "Do you think he stands a chance?" Luke asks. "On Morphine? Absolutely." Tom says.
  16. "She'll see you now just go easy on her. She's still pretty doped up on Morphine." Luke says pushing the door open.
  17. "I know but...How does Lizzy do it? How can she still be so faithful to Tom but yet spend so much time in Hazzard?" Bo asks. "Because of the telephone. Not a week passes that I don't get a call from her." Tom says.
  18. "I don't blame you...I wish I could because I can very clearly see her point about you and Julie but...then I see this side of you then one that rushes out to find her and almost destroys a guy for hurting her and I realize that you love her as much as I do." Tom says.
  19. "How can you be so sure? This is Lizzy we're talking about. Tom's deathly protective of her and I know he blames me for what happened." Bo says.
