Lori got her things and packed them up, she thought the sooner she left the better. She never told no one good bye and didn't intend on going to the jail to see no one, considerin she'd be looong gone by then. Lori took Dixie with her to the bus stop so Dixie could take Midnight Rider back to the farm and park it for awhile. When the bus pulled up Lori got her stuff and smiled to Dixie throwing her the keys,"You be careful in her now...I want it took straight home and the keys put up." Dixie had a small tear in her eye and nodded saying,"Take care cousin." Lori nodded and got on the busm, leaving Hazzard County. ~~~~~~ Dixie meanwhile decided to have fun in Midnight, she dorve it to the Duke farm to tell them that Lori had gone, when Luke saw Midnight pull up, he thought,"Ohh lord what have I done now?" He figured it was Lori that would climb out, nope it was Dixie. Luke........

Lori looked to Luke and blushed,"Well I reckon so...." Luke chuckled softly and walked her back seeing the look on B.L.'s face. Lori looked to Luke and then back to B.L.,"Ohhh sh--!!!!!" Luke stomped his foot and walked to the truck. He looked to Lori once more and said,"Member what I said...and don't you dare forget to write to me either!!!!" Lori chuckled softly and nodded, returnin her glare to B.L."B!!! I swear if you tell Robin......" B.L. lauhghed,"Hahahahaha!! welp cousin don't think you'll have to worry with ME telling her!! too many people saw you do it!!" Lori shook her head and walked in looking to Uncle Jesse hugging him. Uncle Jesse went to the truck having seen the kiss he then asked Luke,"Luke??? who is it gonna be Lori or Robin?" Lori looked to Luke,"Luke? it sounds as if your sad to see me go?" Luke sighed and took her hand leading her to the barn fence,"Well, thats because I am Lori, I aint ready to be serious and when I was dating you I wasn't, im trying with Robin.....Lori I dont want you to not think yer not special to me, you are Lori....I..." It took a little bit of courage for Luke to say the next part,"I still Love you Lori." Lori looked to Luke as if to find some hint of lying in him, nope, nada....nothing, he was telling the truth. Lori let tears slip and looked to Luke,"Luke...I..I don't understand........ hwo can you still love me, and be datin Robin?" Luke looked to her and said,"Simple...im doing it now aint I?" The judge then said,"Miss Loren Davenport?" Lori sighed and stood up, she looked and the recruiter hadn't left, he'd talked to the judge about Lori and the judge was still going to sentence her, but she wasn't going to be able to spend her time in jail, as she was leaving for the Marines, which no one knew of til then. The judge had went through the same procedure with Lori ans he did with the others but only adding to the end,"Miss Davenport, hopefully time in the Marines will help you see the err of your ways... I expect that you'll also keep up with your school work, as it can and WILL be sent to you..just like yer diploma will be." Lori nodded and agreed,"Yes'sir, im bout sure it will." Everyone in the court room wenr balistic, the couldn't figure out why she wanted to go to the Marines. Lori looked to them all and shook her head, Rosco leading her back down to her cell, everyone following her. Asking her questions and things all of which she didn't answer. Rosco would have to let her out so she could pack her things and say good-bye to everyone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Rosco let her out, she went to the garage were Midnight Rider had been taken to, and climbed in..when she got to the farm she saw Luke there...along with B.L., Cooter, Dixie, Luther, and Jesse. the others was at home working on the farm. They all looked to her and asked in unsion,"Why?" Lori looked to them and sighed,"Ive been planning this since the beginnin of highschool fellers, they finally accepted me." they...............

Cooter looked to B.L. and winced as he knew she'd more than likely go off on Lori if and when she saw her. Luke groaned as did they rest of the crew. Ernie never showed up at all, Rosco had to serve him a bench warrant.. he should've known what Ledbetter would do. Rosco had the warrant and was off to Ledbetter's house. When Rosco arrived he arrest Ernie and held him in the upstairs cell. A recruiter from the Marines walked in to the jail asking were Loren Davenport was, usually they didn't like to recruit women in the Marines but, they heard things on Lori and knew she could probably hack it. He asked Rosco and Rosco escorted him down to the cell were she was at. "Miss Davenport?" Lori looked up and stood straight,"Yes'sir...im Miss Davenport?" "I was informed that you wanted to join the Marines?" Lori nodded and said,"Yes'sir I've been planning on it for awhile now." The recruiter looked to her and shook her hand. Lori felt good that they had actually taken the time to consider her. Lori smiled and said,"well??" The recruiter said,"Basic Traning begins within a three days of now.." Lori sighed,"Well sir, I'm stuck in here, less the judge drops it..I aint been sentenced yet, but I will be here today or tomorrow, dont know which one." The recruiter left his number to contact him to let him know if she was coming or not. Lori took the number and nodded, the recruiter left. Lori sat down and ran her hands over her face, she didn't know what she was doing but she'd sures to he-- hope it wasn't the wrong thing.

"LUKE DUKE!!!! VANCE, COY, JEB!!!! GIT OVER HERE AND DON'T LET IT TAKE YOU ALL DAY EITHER!!!!!!" The children got up as quick as they could and headed for the door filing out of it, Luke had no time to say goodbye to Robin.. Uncle Jesse had them lined up outside against his truck and he yanked his belt off going down the line beating them all. Luke winced as the belt hit his rear-end. Uncle Jesse looked to them and told them to get in their cars adn get home, he was taking Luke home. Whne they got in Luke looked to Jesse and said,"What about Rob..." Uncle Jesse snarled,"DONT YOU EVEN DARE THINK OF A GIRL AT A TIME LIKE THIS!!!!! YOU AINT GOING TO HER HOUSE FER QUITE SOME TIME TIL' YOU LEARN TO MIND YER OWN BUSINESS!!!!!!" Luke sighed and said,"Uncle Jesse, Lori was the one that started it, she hit Cooter first!! They had him out numbered and I wasn't about to see him go down!" Uncle Jesse looked to Luke,"Well yuo might have done the right thing in that department...but you aint off the hook just yet boy!" They pulled up to the house and all go tout, going ot bed, the morning would come early. Luther................. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori was beginning to sober up and now she rolled over in the bunk and sighed, getting up to the window she looked up and saw a shooting star fly across the sky, she hadn't wished upon a star since she was 4 years old, she decided to now...........

Cooter looked to Lori and said,"Cousin, you think you really want to be doing that, to yer own family?" Lori quivered in anger,"My so called FAMILY keeps it up and I'll do alot worse." Cooter sighed as Lori landed her fist right swuare center in Cooter's jaw. B.L. stepped in front of him, and then it happened. B.L. and Loriboth rolling each other and beating the tar outta the other, then entire clan got into a fight, Duke and Dvenport against Ernie's crew. Rosco just happened to walk in and see them fighting as Ernie's group had fled, being the so called,"Mean kids" they was and all fled like chickens. The Dukes and Davenports all mangled and what not. Lori stood up wiping th eblood from her mouth, B.L. doing the same. Rosco had a few words,"Which one started it.." Lori thought and acted quick, if she confessed to being the one that started it, she'd be able to get away from everyone. She spoke up,"I was." Rosco nodded and looked to Luke,"So ya just couldn't leave wel enough alone could ya Duke..... now ya got court in the mornin and ya wanna go to jail the night before thats smart thinkin!" Lori turned to look to him and then to Rosco,"He wasn't even in on it..." Luke and everyone else looked to each other as if she was stupid, or was she?? Lori looked to Rosco and said,"Just take me to jail and let Uncle Jesse and Uncle Luther handle them..." Everyone's mouth dropped as Rosco made the call to the Davenport and Dukes residence taking Lori by the hands, cuffing her she turned to look to Cooter and Luke and B.L. and said,"Ya'll won't hopefully follow me now..." Rosco took her away to the jail.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When they arrived he booked her and took her to the bottom cell and locked the gate..finally peace and quiet. Luke, B.L. and Cooter.....

Cooter shook his head and said,"Shes got more tricks up her sleeve than any other woman I know of...and fellers that could be dangerous too...." B.L. sighed and said,"Coot I, reckon yer right bout that, If I know my cousin, and I believe I do.... IF she's going with Ernie to...yea you know..which is sick... then she'll more than likely head to the Boar's Nest afterwards.. Cooter nodded, they turned around and headed for the Boar's Nest, they'd all corner her there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori and Ernie was at Ernie's place, in his barnloft... When they were finished, Lori knew she had drunk all her whiskey and decided to go to the Boar's Nest, Ernie following her in behind. Lori walked in with some of the meanest kids from school..that'd only mean trouble too......

But this next time Cooter wasn't laughing. He saw the look in Lori's eyes as she clenched her fists and knocked Luke out,"You son of a bi***!!! there aint no one and i mean NO ONE that messes with Midnight, cept me!!!!!" Luke lay there knocked out, she could really hit when she wanted to.Lori took the distributor and fixed Midnight. She climbed in and shook her head, heading towards the Boar's Nest. Cooter got out of his vehicle and went to check on Luke,"Luke.....man you alrigth??" Luke............. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori meanwhile was at the bar sametime Ernie was, well he wanted a good time and Lori wanted to take all her pain away so she followed Ernie home, going past Luke and Cooter

Lori didn't budge she glared at him through teary eyes and choked up,"LEAVE ME THE HE-- ALONE!!! YER PART OF THE REASON AS TO WHY I'M HERE!!! CAN'T YOU LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE AND GO BE WITH ROBIN..IT AINT YER JOB TO MAKE ME HAPPY...ITS MY OWN.... JUST LEAVE ME ALONE OR I SWEAR......" Lori couldn't even finish her sentence she began to wail out in tears and pain. Luke sighed and climbed up,"I told ya not to make me come up here..." Without giving it a second thought Lori jumped down from the oak and said,"FINE!!! IF YOU WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE HERE I'LL GO SOMEWHERES ELSE!!! L-E-A-V-E M-E A-----LONE!!!!! GIT THE FREAKIN PICTURE ALREADY!!!!!" Luke..................... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was like Lori could be heard a country mile away, Cooter looked around as if Lori was standing right next to him screaming. Cooter looked to B.L. who had pulled up beside him.They looked to each other and planned to capture her once and for all. They sped off looking for her.........

Cletus

Lori could feel Luke and Cooter in behind her as she spun it around causing the two to spin their cars around almost colliding with each other. Cooter looked to Luke giving her time to head out she knew B.L. could and would head her off. Cooter looked to Luke and said,"Luther said some things to her he shouldn't have....like the reason why her momma died was her fault....well, atop of that all the drinkin and you and court, its all go tto her and biggg time. She was always told that it was HER fault her momma died and well the way luther said it he told her the same thing. That got Luke mad a little and he nodded going to were he knew Lori would go to Hound Dog Lake atop of the big oak tree that grew nearest to the bank. After her momma died and they all took small fishing trips Lori would spend most her time up in the old oak tree. Which is exactly were Lori went. Lori pulled Midnight out of sight of the main road and climbed to the top, she had been driving faster than the general Lee tryin to win the an overland race. Lori could handle the speed she was taught by the best, but on a day like this she couldn't handle anything. She climbed to the top and sat sighing she looked out through the mountains looking up. Luke................ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Daisy replied,"Yea I know...Well Im going to get off here and see whats going on..Ill have him call you later." Daisy hung up and went outside to see all the Duke cousins looking to one another......

Luke I appeared twice in the series, once as a singer and once as a horse farmer. I had a horse named Mannassas (or however you spell it lol) who am I?

Cooter looked at Lori. She still looked pretty tipsy. He said, "Ah, well Lori was out runnin some errands..I ran into her and wanted to talk to her..she let me drive cause she had a headache." Luther believed it til Lori walked by and he could smell the whiskey on her. Luther pulled her to him and smelled to see if he was correct, Lori winced as he yelled in her ear,"BEEN DRINKIN HAVE YA????" Lori whirled around and said,"Why would you care???!!! you don't know what im goin through rigth now!!! Luke,Momma, and Court!!!" Luther said before he spoke, knowing that one reason wasn't her fault at all, Lori's momma had passed away because she had gotten deathly ill...all her life Lori was told by her brother and sister and dad that it was Lori's fault..due to her momma gettin sick after she had Lori. Luther screamed,"ALL OF WHICH IS YER FAULT!!!" B.L. and Cooter and Dixie heard it and all poled their heads out their doors seeing Lori's face as she turned pale,"So now you too.....I was the cause of my momma dying... you think that too??" Luther had quickly examined what he had said and retored back,"Lori...no...you wasn't...it slipped...." When Lori saw him she went off,"OHHH SO NOW I CAN'T GO ANYWHERES WITHOUT SOMEONE FOLLOWIN ME???" Cooter screamed back at her,"I WAS WORRIED DANG IT!!!! C'MON!!!! LUTHER'LL TEAR OUR HIDES APART IF WE AINT HOME!!!" Lori took that into consideration and headed towards Midnight Rider. When they got in and Lori sped off Cooter remembered the bottles and asked.......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ B.L. returned home seeing Luther home, she knew there'd be he-- to pay now........

Luke looked to Lori and sighed,"Darlin... like I said before I aint one that you need to be doing this to yerself over, no boy is...." Lori stopped him,"What? worth it?? Luke.... don't go there, i done said that yer ARE worth it, Im just stuck on something that I'll never have again." Luke dropped his head, if things went the way he and Robin planned, Lori was right. "Well, me and Robin are trying to take it slow and easy now.." Lori looked at Luke, her eyes were watery but she never cried.. she just ran a hand down the side of her face. Lori go tup, she was sobered up now and could walk straight, she got up and headed out back to find Vance, Luke didn't even have no time to explain nothing to her.... He sat on the porch and ran his hands up the side of his face. Uncle Jesse came back out and said,"I take it her drinking binge is cause of you?" Luke looked to Uncle Jesse and said,"Yea...she's still inlove with me, like I said He-- I love her too, but I've got Robin." Uncle Jesse looked to Luke,"I told ya to never say i love you to a girl, specially when ya know you've got another one that you know you WILL get back together with!!! ding-dang it!! don't you listen to me anymore???" Luke................. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dixie told B.L. and Cooter they sighed with relief and Cooter got in Midnight to go get her. He had found the bottles of Jack Daniels and began to worry some about his cousin. B.L.......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lori saw Vance and walked up in behind him,"Hey Vance....Im sorry." Vance looked over his shoulder to her and smiled,"S'ok....you never cared for me, only Luke and that's all that matters..we can still be fri...." Lori didn't even let him finish the sentence and she hugged him,"Vance, I do care for you...but I love Luke.....I know Im holding on to something that will never exsist tween us no more but...Vance im sorry." Vance hugged her back and smiled,"So? friends?" Lori smiled,"Yea..friends!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luther got home to find that Midnight Rider was gone so he..........

Lori sighed and said,"Wont Robin get a little ticked off??" Luke sighed,"If she finds out, she may...but we need to talk." Lori nodded and got up, a little wobbly and unsturdy. Luke took her hand and led her to the car. When they arrived Vance looked away and Lori sighed,"Luke..I gotta talk to him..I hurt him bad..I do like him but..." Luke nodded,"Yea..I know. Look Uncle Jesse aint home so c'mon lets go grab us a bite to eat." Lori nodded and giggled, the Jack Daniels went straight to her. Luke sighed,first he had to get her sobered up. ~~~~~~~~~~ Cooter went to talk to Lori cause well she'd been through the whole im inlove stage, with Billy Ray..course he went to the Navy and she aint heard from him since. When Cooter got to Dry Creek he could see Midnight, But no Lori...Cooter went to the CB and CB'd B.L.......

Jesse looked to him,"Well whatever punishment you bestow upon them won't effect their schoolwork, they've all tried really hard to make it this far in school and i'd hate to see em' have their graduation backed up." thats true Roger, we wouldn't have. Guess we didn't really stop to think about that and take it into consideration, hey even if the scenes weren't all that great least we still had good ole' uncle Jesse and Bo, Luke,Daisy, Cooter (sometimes), Waylon, Boss and Rosco, and Enos.
