  1. It's cool, Rog ;) Like I said, it's easy just to know Aang by being called the Avatar because that's what he is and that's why most usually call him only by Avatar.

The anime was out before the movie so I would say that James Cameron may have had to get the OK from the writer of Avatar the Last Airbender. Someone correct me on this if Im wrong please, don't wanna give out false info here. But, yeah they'll have to call him Avatar in the movie or else the whole anime will have made no sense nor will the movie. It's, well, actually like the Dukes of Hazzard and where I'm from. They had to contact the mayor before they used "Hazzard" hence why they had to put another "Z" in the name. I think Gy also had to check our local phone book to make sure he didn't use any local's name.

Also Rog, they could have used a different context of the word "Avatar", in the film with the aliens it could be used to mean something completely different than what the anime refers to. According to hinduism the word "Avatar" means something like a reincarnation or a descendant of a deity.

I agree with ya 100% Lucas. I've heard of people getting into the movie and all, but that's taking it to a whoooole other level.

  2. Being the anime freak that I am Rog, I had absolutely no clue that they were making a live action movie of it! I love Avatar: The Last Airbender....What exactly are you asking in the last part of your paragraph Roger? This part:"I wonder if that will still be the main character's name in the movie like it was in the cartoon."...Aang is the main character's name, are you asking if they'll still call him an Avatar even after they made the "Avatar" movie? If so, then they better or else the movie wouldn't make sense at all and Aang would only be known as Aang the Airbender, they would have to change the name of the anime. I think what you may be referring to is when they call Aang the Avatar sometimes lol it's like a race of sorts in the anime I guess you could say.

Sorry I got off topic on you guys, Ive not watched the movie but have read on some sites some interesting things. I think the land in Avatar is called Pandora? Ive read that people have actually considered committing suicide after watching this movie due to the fact that Pandora was so enticing and beautiful that they wanted to live there...then reality slapped them in the face and depressed them.

  3. It's not that he doesn't care about the fans or think about our feelings, it's because most of the fans that loved him as Luke followed him throughout his broadway and musical careers. Tom's peeve is that the fans only want to know him as "Luke Duke", he wants them to know that he's done and is doing more things more productive than what he did during the airtime of Dukes.

While it's true that the Dukes helped him make his way through stardom, it's like I've been saying, no actor/actress wants to be remembered as just one role...it makes them feel as if they're not doing a good job on anything else and that that one role was the only role they've played well.

I would say if the fans showed more support towards his other works and not just focus on Luke Duke he would probably feel differently about Dukes in general. *shrugs* again, just my opinion.

  4. While it's true that this show did make his name big, it doesn't necessarily mean that he wouldn't be where he is today. If you remember correctly, he is also a broadway star so he would've more than likely became famous through broadway AND his music, can't forget his music.

Once you've done something for so long...it gets old after a while and you just want to move on from it. Doesn't necessarily mean you dislike it completely. You also must remember that we lost three members of the cast, Waylon Jennings, Denver Pyle, and Sorrell (sp?) Booke. (And not trying to sound like a smart a** or anything when I ask this next question.) Did you ever happen to think that maybe it's still hard for them to look back and remember?

Not only that but all the rumors, true or not, about them dating Cathy or whatever else the press/fans could come up with are so ridiculous that he probably doesn't want to remember something like that...would you?

Anyways the fact remains that Tom only wants to move on to bigger and better things...it's like getting a promotion at work sort of. He wanted to move up in stardome and do things he loves doing: Acting AND Singing.

But of course, all of this is just my opinion. :)

  5. "DOC! Doctor Holiday! Oh please oh please summon the great Sherlock Holmes, we have a disasterous investigation to start!"

"I'll get right to it." The Pope replied. "It would be an honor."

So the Pope walked off into the great unknown, trudging through land and stone to find the great Sherlock Holmes. He was only a few continants away when he came across a pharo, sitting on a bone.

"Why great pharo.." Said the Pope. "Where do you roam? Have you seen the great Sherlock Holmes?"

"No." Answered the pharo. "But if you go down the mine, you might find the Sherlock Holmes you seek."

"Thank you, Doc Holiday will be very pleased." And there before the pharo at the bottom of the mine, stood his love, the great Sherlock Holmes.

Out in the plains of East Africa, astride a powerful fast moving steed, rode a man known to all, and loved by many: Michael Jackson. It was rumored that a grand ball was to be held down by the Nile River, a ball so grand that not even Harry Potter could afford to miss it!

"T'heck with Lord Voldemort!" said Harry to a very dazzling, well endowed Princess Diana whom seemed to be heeding more attention to the great and almighty Buddha that floated a couple of feet away from them.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the ball room, Mohammad Ali was occupying himself with a small, amethyst butterfly that passed by.

    "Ahem."

Averting his eyes to the spot where the small, dainty cough came from, Ali's eyes grew in size as he gazed upon the heavenly features of Cinderella and her seven dwarfs.

  6. *Jumps off of cot with the sight of food* Thanks BL! You're the best...you do know that right? Um...even if it is you I'm spending time for. ;)

As for Brian's car, don't feel bad about it. If he arrested me for something I didn't do, I'd have dismantled his car as well. Wait a minute...he did have me arrested for something I didn't do. Hmmm what else can I do to pay him back? ;) Perhaps I can re-dismantle his car once you get it put back together again...he'd be real happy about that I imagine. ;) Eh I think I'm doing enough time as it is, better stick with my story I am left to write.

I will pass along your message BL to Brian, I imagine he'll appreciate the news. *Nods at BL as I open the box of food to see the chicken and mashed potatoes and biscuits.* Thanks BL...this looks soo great. Perhaps I should stay put in this dump just so I can continue getting such great food snuck in here.

    *shakes head*

You keep talkin' like that AND keep on procrastinatin' on writin' ya story...you're goin' to rot in this jail cell.

  7. Thanks for the advice Alex...I will take it into consideration. Whether I act like it or not, I do want to get out, but I do find it hard to cooperate when my charges are fake to begin with. Give me something I did wrong, I'll be glad to do the time and be a little cooperative.

As for you Lori, you are having way too good of a time at my misfortune here. I thought friends were suppose to be there for one another, you know to help out and so forth? ;) Oh it's interesting...I can catch up on all my lost sleep and not have anyone else tell me to do something else with my time. Thanks for visiting. :)

Really Garrett...for someone who's wanting out of jail, you're not helping yourself any. I'm sure Brian'll allow you all the time in the world to catch up on so many of your sleepless nights...*smirks* Not tryin' to tell ya what to do with your time and all, but surely you can find something much more productive than "catch up on lost sleep".

  8. Eh maybe you did, but you had to have known I wouldn't have listened to your warning to begin off with. You should know by now that, that kind of warning goes in one ear out the other. Right? Plus it keeps life interesting. ;)

And what you snickering at? Sooner or later it'll be your turn to be sleeping on that ol' cot here, locked behind them bars...then what you going to do? *Pictures Lori in jail* Sounds about right to me. :)

*snorts* Hmph. We'll see how interestin' life gets while you're stuck in behind bars for awhile, buddy roe.
