  1. LOL I don't mind at all, sorry I would have replied to it sooner but I fell asleep and have been asleep since I got home, it's been a tiresome day. I'll go read it right here in a second. I might have caught you on here too late, but anyways, I'll go read it and check it out.

  2. Yea I sold my horses to my next door neighbor basically LOL! But, it still hurts to see that horse in under someone else's care and not your's ya know? Hey, if ya wanna sell the saddle and make money then my all means go right ahead, let someone else get some good use out of it. The money would come in handy for other things around your home or barn.
  3. When the phone rang that night, Lori's head bolted up quickly nearly causing her to fall in the floor. "Mmmmello?" She mumbled into the phone tiredly.
  4. Did you just send a message to ♥Elizabeth♥/#01 Tom Wopat fan on myspace? Lol that's me, and I can'tadd you because I don't have your email or last name.

  5. Lori came back though, later that night, in urgent need to talk to him. It was a good thing that she did too, or else she herself would have gone unconscious. She didn't care if the doctors told her she couldn't see him, this was her soon to be husband and she wasn't one to take too kindly to being demanded an order when someone she loved was in need of help. Slowly, she walked into his room, seeing him once more. Letting out a deep sigh, a shaky sigh, she forced her feet to move towards the bed, looking at him and his feverish face. Going to the bathroom she got a wash cloth and dampened it, going back to him trying to bring his fever down once more. She sat there by his side all night, continuing the process, singing a soft sweet song to him trying to get him to wake up from his deep slumber.
  6. Reason why? Economical issues you could say is why I had to sell the other two, cost of feed and hay and such being as high as it is, we couldn't afford for just yet, why didn't I sell Trigger? There's plenty of reasons why. He's faithful, he understands me when no one else does, he listens to me, I love him...I love all my horses, that's why I regretted selling them. A horse and rider are a team, when I sensed him panicking I panicked and he sensed me...both of us was scared...he tried to protect me from the dogs that was chasing him, in his eyes at least, by throwing me off he was trying to keep the dogs away from me. Because as soon as anyone stepped near me to check on me he tried to bite and nip at them because he wanted me to be safe. You can't really ask for a better relationship than that with any kind of animal. I wouldn't sell any of the horse's things. I'd keep them in memory of her. Give your mother a reason to go out to the barn, there's another horse who needs her love just as much as anything. If its her horse, it doesn't need the love from another human, it needs the love of it's master, it's partner. If you neglect a horse, then it has no reason to live but stand around eating being a paddock pal as they would call them, when there's absolutely nothing wrong with that horse. It needs exercise and to be ridden and without it's partner there, then it really hasn't a reason to live.
  7. Had an idea as well, lol yes im aware ive left you three messages, you love me though lol, could have Paul in the house as I've said, bring his character in, have him talking on the phone to the bad guys just to let people know who the bad guy is and to let them know the exact reason why Bo was kicked out of the house.

  8. Hey....meet me in chat please will you i need to discuss something with you.

  9. Luke chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Oh trust me, I know. I have be on that end before. Plenty of times. Me and Bo use t' come in from playing football all the time muddier than pigs Daisy had just finished moppin' up the kitchen, we tracked mud all through the house she chased us from here all over the back forty."
  10. where to go next? weve introduced every character into the story, except for the one of the main ones. The bad guy.Bring Paul in, let the readers know what he's up to during this emotional time.

  11. *grins, blushing* Ah gee, what can I say? Lori is a very influential character and she can help raise someone's self esteem, as for me, watching the Dukes so much has really came in handy to help my friends. I'm glad you can write because now, I can't! LOL I have a writer's block on where to go with a halloween story.

  12. Here is where you can tell Garrett and myself, what you like, don't like, and what we can do, as writers, to improve on the story. Hope you guys enjoying reading as we enjoying writing it!
  13. I think I'll do it lol the story was your idea, im just a co-author helping you along. We have another person who said that the story was so good so far.

  14. Lori grinned from ear to ear, kissing his cheek. "Trust me, when you're the one on the recieving end of a fryin' pan, you do learn your lesson..."
  15. "That maybe so, but you ate at the table standing up for a while though didn't ya?" Meaning, he got a whippin' from Jesse. Since he was only 5 at the time, he was too small to reach the mantle piece.
  16. Great post! Sorry it took me so long to reply to it Khee! I got sidetracked and Luke inspired me to write! And, I'm thinking we should also start a response page for the story as well, lol because people are leaving messages right now about the story. Want me to start on up in that thread? Or you can when ya get on it doesn't matter.

  17. Cooter slammed on his breaks causing the truck to slide around dust flying all around him. Cringing, he slammed his fists down on the wheel of the truck, cursing under his breath. "Dang it Bo..." Cooter muttered, not concerned if there was any more traffic on the road at the moment or not. He just couldn't understand the fact that there was someone reaching out to help Bo, to understand him, to comfort him, be there for him, and Bo declines it! It was mind boggling to Cooter he knew that much, so mind boggling it made him talk to himself as he pondered what in the world could be wrong with Bo. He himself, had no clue what was happening, and decided he'd go to the main source itself, Luke. Seeing the familiar brown rustic looking tow truck pull up into the yard, Luke smiled to himself, stepping off the porch steps to go and greet his long time buddy. "Hey Coot..long time no see..." Luke greeted him, shaking his hand once Cooter managed to step out of the tow truck, shutting his door. With a smile, Cooter returned the friendly handshake, nodding. "Yea I know, heard these past couple of weeks 'round here has been hell....mind tellin' me what's happenin'?" Luke let out a disgusted breath, the corners of his lips drawn tight. "Bo is what. He's a jealous little cuss is what he is Coot...jealous of my new friend, Paul." Cooter watched Luke's face, his expressions changing from anger and resentment to heart felt pain and anguish. Cooter nodded a little, propping a boot up on the front fender of his tow truck, his elbow rested on his raised knee, his chin in hand, his stance clearly showing that he too was pondering on what went wrong and why. "I just don't know Cooter, I mean I know Bo could stir up trouble, but cause this much over one person? Because he's jealous? I don't know what's gotten into him and frankily I don't give a damn if I see his face around here again." Luke spat the words out vehemently. Though, in a matter of seconds, his heart was being torn the other way, he regretted saying those words, regretted ever kicking Bo out of his life, his family's life. In one way he wanted so much to believe his youngest cousin, to take back what he said and make amends with him. No, he couldn't do that, then he'd turn his back on his friend Paul, he says that he desperately is in need of the family's help at the moment.
  18. ROFL I was sitting here thinking the exact same thing.
