Finally uncle Jesse was ruling his family like a General his soldiers. His nephews were hanging on his every word. Finally Luke smiled, a smart smile, "The battle is goin' to start". Bo sniggered angrily, "The battle started when they kidnapped Daisy and nearly they killed her and Enos" Everyone nodded. "But we don't know who they are, and why they are here", Luke was reasoning out, "they're ahed of the game". Uncle Jesse stayed a bit silent, thoughtful, "I think they're still in Hazzard. They can't go unnoticed to Hazzard's people. We know Hazzard, it's our country, and we know it better than them. We're ahed of the game". Luke kept on reasoning out, "And what if they have someone guiding them? Maybe someone who knows Hazzard very well, and Hazzard's people too; don't forget they know Daisy" Uncle Jesse nodded, "It's what we have to find out: who's guiding them. When we'll find him, we'll find them and their intentions" Bo and Luke nodded, "OK. It's time to go to Hazzard", then they left the hospital, heading to Hazzard square in order to ask people 'bout some strangers.

Uncle Jesse and the boys saw Daisy coming out Enos's room, crying. Uncle Jesse approached her and took her hands in his ones, "Daisy, are you OK?" Daisy shook her head, "Nothing is OK. Enos doesn't remember who I am. HE DOESN'T REMEMBER WHO I AM!!! How is it possible?? I'm ....", she sobbed, "He's my.... WHY???" Uncle Jesse hugged her, "Please Daisy, don't cry. Doc says Enos will get his memory back". Fortunately the Doc was nearby, so he came near Daisy and tried to calm her, "Miss Duke, your friend will get his memory back. I don't know when, maybe tomorrow, or next week, or next month. I don't know when, but he'll get his memory back. In case like this, after a severe concussion and after a severe shock, it's normal there's a big confusion and a memory loss. But it's only a temporary loss. Your friend will get his memory back; he'll recall first his past memory, and then his recent memory. Maybe he won't recall today events, or recent events, but he'll start to recall his past memory". Daisy wiped away her tears, a bit relieved, then she wheeled again toward Enos's room, "Enos Strate, I don't permit you to forget 'bout me", her eyes were now full of determination. The Doc sighed, smiling, "She's very strong". Everyone nodded, looking at Daisy who was heading toward Enos's room. Luke's words broke the silence, "Why?". Everyone looked at him. "Why.... What?", said Bo. "Why did they kidnap Daisy? They knew her, Daisy told us they knew her name. They wanted something from her, but when she passed out they tried to kill her because they didn't need her anymore. Why? What are they looking for?". Nobody knew how to answer to Luke's questions. Luke kept on talking, "What if they know Daisy is OK and if they decide to kidnap her again? We have to find out who they are and what they're doing here in Hazzard, for Daisy safety. Uncle Jesse, don't let Daisy go out the hopital or wander in the hospital until we find out what's happening". Uncle Jesse nodded, "Don't worry Luke. Daisy wants only to stay by Enos's side; she doesn't want to go out the hospital nor to leave Enos's room. Until she's here with me, she's safe". Meanwhile, Enos had fallen asleep again, a sleep full of strange and confused dreams. Daisy grabbed again his hand, waiting. He was dreaming of a little girl with pigtails grabbing his hand.

You're very talented, Cowboy. I like very much your pictures. It's a long time since I drew something; I've always loved drawing, since childhood. Some time ago I tried to draw Hazzard's characters, but I'm not able to draw "real" people ,; I'm too much used to draw japan anime, and when I try to draw real people, they seem anime characters. Hey, don't laugh- It's not my fault if I love japan anime. But someday I'll try again drawing Hazzard's character, I swear.

It's a very sad thing. Really, it's saddening me very much. Not because Harry is a Duke's Fan, but because Harry is a young man, and it's always sad to hear 'bout young men or women fighting cancer. My father lost his fight when he was 49 years old (and maybe it's why I've become a doctor). Anyway, I hope and I pray for Harry's safety (and for his family too, 'cause when something like that happens, it's something involving all the family).

Daisy opened her eyes. Jeb, Boss and Rosco were by her side, and soon after she saw Bo and Luke rushing to her. Suddenly they heard a strange noise; the truck was falling down the ravine, butting against the rocks and then it exploded. Luke whispered, "Just in time. If I think Daisy was inside that truck and now she could be...", he didn't finish the sentence, "....those men..... I...". Daisy looked at him, remembering everything (the kidnapping, the crash, the sawmill barn) except why she was alone in that truck, but she had only a thought in her mind, "How's Enos goin'?". Luke caressed her hair, "He's going to live, Daisy. Don't worry. You're going to see him, but now you have to rest". Ambulance's door closed; inside the ambulance Daisy took a deep breath, "Finally I'm alive", then she smiled, "and Enos's going to live". Bo grabbed Rosco's patrol car's CB, "Lost sheep to Sheppard, lost sheep to Sheppard", but uncle Jesse didn't answer him. "Bo, I think uncle Jesse's with Enos, so he can't answer you. Come on, follow the ambulance to the hospital, then we're going to tell uncle Jesse everything", as usual Luke was calm and rational. The General, Jeb, Boss and Rosco followed the ambulance to the hospital. Bo finally smiled; it was a terrific day, but now things seemed to go better; "Uncle Jesse will be happy to see Daisy. And Daisy will be happy to see Enos", said Bo, hopefully. Luke sighed, "Yeah, I hope so".

Meanwhile, uncle Jesse was alone at the hospital. Boss and Rosco left promising him they're going to help Bo and Luke to find Daisy. He couldn't talk to Bo and Luke because of their CB, so he was more and more worried. He sighed and he decided to go to Enos's room, even if he was sleeping; it was useless to stay alone in the lobby. In the hallway, near Enos's room, he met the Doc who talked to him previously, "Doc, Enos woke up awhile ago, but he was strage, he didn't even recognize me. I'm very worry". The Doc put a hand on uncle Jesse's shoulder, "Mr. Duke, he's going to live but he had a bad concussion and several injuries...."; uncle Jesse nodded, "Yes, I know", stopping the Doc to list all Enos's injuries, something he didn't need and he didn't want to listen again. The Doc stay silent for awhile, then he kept on talking, "It's normal he's confused by now. He might lose memory 'bout what's happened, and he might be confused 'bout a lot of things, included things 'bout his past, but it's only a temporary condition, and...". A nurse called the Doc from Enos's room, "Doc, he's having seizures!!". The Doc rushed to Enos's room and uncle Jesse flopped down into a chair, praying.

Bo and Luke were terrified 'bout what's happening. Everything was going wrong: Enos in hospital, and now Daisy in that truck down the hill. Everything seemed to go in slow-motion. The boys were looking at the truck moving down the hill. Bo put his hands on his eyes, shouting, "Noooo!!!!!". The young Duke was waiting for an explosion (the truck's explosion after its fall down the hill), but fortunately he didn't hear any explosion, so he lowered his hands to see what's happening. A tree had stopped the truck, and now the truck was immobile, in a precarious position, near the ravine, but immobile. Bo and Luke rushed toward the truck.

Daisy was in dispair. "Where are you boys? I don't want to die. Please, save me", her eyes were full of tears. Her head was more and more heavy, and she felt weak. A lot of thoughts were floating in her mind: uncle Jesse, the boys, her farm, the Boar's Nest, and Enos. She was worried 'bout Enos; she knew he was in hospital, badly injured, but she couldn't be with him, and maybe she wouldn't be with him anymore. With these thought in her mind Daisy passed out. Bo and Luke were trying to find that sawmill barn. "If something bad happens to Daisy, I'll kill those men, I swear, I'll kill them", Bo ground his teeth. Luke was more able to stay calm than his young cousin (or at least to pretend to be calm), "Bo, please, we need all our coldness. Try to reason about where she could be", then Luke closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "A sawmill barn. How many sawmill barns there are in Hazzard, and where these sawmill barns are?", then he opened his eyes and snapped his fingers, "Bo, I've got it!!". At the hospital Enos opened again his eyes. He was alone in the small white room. He was so confused; he didn't remember anything 'bout what's happened, but, the worst of all, he didn't remember almost anything 'bout himself. "I'm a cop, I remember I'm a cop, but........ my family, have I a family? Who's that man? My dad? A friend? Oh my God. Where am I? Who am I?"

Slowly Enos woke up. He looked at the ceiling, a ceiling he didn't know. He had pain everywhere in his body. He tried to take a deep breath, but he had to stop because of pain in his chest. "Enos? How do you feel?", he heard a voice near him. He swallowed, "Where am I?", he said with a throaty voice. "You are in the hospital", the same voice answered him. "Hospital? Why?", he wispered. Uncle Jesse stood up and came closer him, "A crash. You had a bad crash, but you're still alive". Enos was confused, "Crash? Where? Why?". Uncle Jesse took Enos's hand, "Don't worry, and try to rest". The old man didn't want to tell him 'bout Daisy (he was too week to stand Daisy's kidnapping). Enos closed his eyes, and uncle Jesse sat down with a sigh, praying for Daisy's safety, "Please guys, find her, please".

The Dukes didn't know where to find Daisy. They didn't know who kidnapped her and in particular they didn' know why. "Enos told us only that someone kidnapped Daisy, but we don't anything else. What we can do, Luke?" Bo looked his cousin; Luke was wiser than him and he usually didn't loose his temper. Actually Bo wasn't able to think because of the shock of seeing his best friend almost dead, and because of fear 'bout Daisy's fate. It was the first time they really feared everything's going wrong. Luke took a deep breath, "Look for her. She's somewhere, and we'll find her", he put a hand on Bo's shoulder, trying to calm his young cousin. "Come on", so they got in the General, leaving Enos's life in Doc's hands: now there was another life to save.

Daisy opened her eyes. Her head was hurting, and she had a buzz in her ears. Suddenly she remembered those men, the kidnapping and Enos chasing them. Now those men were looking at her. The young woman looked at them, her eyes full of anger, "What do you want from me? You are in trouble, guys. My cousins are surely looking for me, and when they'll find you, and they'll find you for sure, they'll kick you. Moreover my friend his a cop, and when he'll find you, after my cousins have kicked you, he'll arrest you. And...." "Shut up", the blond man looked at her with cold eyes, "You're friend WAS a cop. He's dead after the crash". Daisy turned pale and remained silent, remembering the crash. The dark man looked at the blonde one a bit surprised; how did he know 'bout the cop? Then he looked at the girl, pale and with a vacant look on her face, and he understood: now Daisy was totally incapable to react; she was totally in their hands.

"Hey cop, give my tunes back. They are miiiiine. My own...... my love..... my precioussssss". Mhhhh, sorry, a cross-over with LOTR.

Bo was driving the General Lee, with Luke by his side. The boys were talking and laughing, unaware of Daisy and Enos's fate. Suddenly Luke's eye caught Enos's patrol car. "Ol Enos crashed again, but at least this time he wasn't chasing us", Bo grinned. As usual, the boys approached to check everything was OK and nobody was injured. But what they saw made them shiver. Enos was laying on the ground, unconscious; there was blood around him but they didn't understand where exactly he was injured. They rushed to their friend's side; Luke carefully turn him over and called him. The deputy slowly opened his eyes, whispering, "Daisy..... kidnapped", then he passed out. It was a tragic moment for the boys: their best friend was lying unconscious and bleeding in their arms, and Daisy was somewhere, kidnapped by strangers.

"Who's gonna stop it" is a Round Robin and not a Role Play (you should understand the difference), and it's not kind to jump in telling me to read the rules. Every writer is welcome, I've only asked to use original characters because I'm confused when there are too many created characters in a same fic (It's my fault, I know, but it's difficult for me writing something consistent when there are characters I don't know very well). I can imagine Hazzard only with original characters. A limit? Maybe it's a "limit". In round robin board there are a lot of RR where only two-three writers can join in (they claim it at the beginning of the RR), but I think that it's their right to ask to try writing a story like that. I don't get angry for it. Anyway, there are a lot of round robins, you can like it or not. But you're not kind saying "illegible and incoherent babbling". Yeah, there are strange RR (), but you're not respectful to people who write only for fun. Everyone has the right to enjoy writing something, maybe "babbling", or maybe trying to write something more "leggible". But it's not to you to judge how people write or how people try to have fun. Well, I'm glad you're back Chet, and I hope to read something from you. Let me know who exactly Chet is. Maybe I'll go over my limit and I'll learn how to interact with new characters.

Enos realizes he's just run by Daisy, so he stops, looking in his rear view mirror. Even if he's a bit drowsy, his cop's instict tells him there's something wrong, so he starts back to find Daisy. Finally he sees Daisy, but there's someone with her. Something's going wrong. Enos speeds up to reach Diasy and those two new guys (again, his cop's istinct tells him they're bad guys).

(Please, only original characters) Enos is in his patrol car, waiting for someone to fine (something he doesn't like very much). But waiting is not so bad when he can read one of his comics. After reading comics, he yawns and he closes his eyes, falling asleep. (cue anyone)

If you want to join in, I'm going to start a new round robin. I've not many ideas, but I'm going to try something. What 'bout to add pics in a round robin? Just an idea.

When does this challenge end? Am I late? I'll try to write something, or I hope so.

You're right, Roger. RPing requires a lot of time. For this reason I prefer Round Robin (so, even if I'm not connected, people can go on without waiting for my lines). I agree with DaisyMae, Val and Maryanne too. Everyone has a different way in RPing or RRing (as everyone has a unique way of writing fic), and not all styles match. RPing or RRing is like writing fic for me. I use the same style, and maybe not everyone likes it (it's a natural thing). I always try to build a story or write something that has a direction, and I don't like roaming, writing lines here or there by chance (especially if I don't know very well the story before joining in) . Anyway, I like very much RR, 'cause it gives me the chance to writing even if I've not a plot, or when I have an idea but it's not complete. Well, RRing is an alternative to writing fanfic when I'm confused 'bout a possible plot. I don't know if it's a right way to start a RR, but I like it.

I'd like to RR with you and DaisyXEnos. I don't have an idea for a possible plot by now, but we may try something. I'm going to start a new RR this evening (afternoon for you, LOL), and I'd like you join it. Everyone is accepted; only a request: please, original characters (or ask me before to add created characters..... I like created characters, but not too much in a single story ).

This is the last part of this one-shot (or at least my last part): Bo stops the General Lee; they come out the car and they run to the pond. Few seconds and they realize there’s nobody waiting for them on the pond’s shore. Few seconds and Bo and Luke rush in the water, swimming towards the patrol car, now almost completely covered by water. Few seconds but like hours for Daisy, who’s waiting on the pond’s shore. Bo and Luke reach the car, and they go on to plunge in the water, looking for the passenger, uselessly. Finally, they come out the pond, falling exhausted to the ground, panting. “There’s nobody inside the car. The door is open, and…..â€, Luke isn’t able to finish the phrase, and he needs to take a deep breath. Daisy falls on her knees, shaken by fear: what if Enos had tried to go out the car but for some reason he hadn’t succeeded to reach the shore?. Suddenly a voice behind them, “What are you doin’?†Bo, Luke and Daisy turn over, in shock. “ENOS!!!!†The deputy is in front of them, soaked but smiling as usual. He has his hat in his hands, and from his hat he slowly takes some blackberries; he seems to like very much that taste. “Why are you soaked?â€, he mumbles, keeping on eating blackberries. Bo slowly stands up, “WHY???!! Enos, we saw your patrol car in the pond, so we believed that you were still inside the car. And you? You stay there, peaceful, gulping down blackberries?â€. Enos blushes, “Oh, sorry buddies. But after I came out the pond, I couldn’t ask anyone for help……. CB doesn’t work underwater…………..â€, he laughs nervously, “so I decided to wait for someone to pass by. Moreover, I hadn’t breakfast this morning, so, while I was waiting, I harvested blackberries. I like blackberriesâ€, and he offers his hat full of blackberries to the three cousins. Luke stands up, “I kill him!!!!!â€, then he takes Enos’s hat and he puts it on Enos’s head (blackberries included). Enos looks at him in shock, the blackberries juice dripping on his face, “You’re not very nice, Luke Dukeâ€. Daisy bursts out laughing, and her laugh is contagious. Few after Bo, Luke and Daisy are back to the farm. Uncle Jesse sees his nephews soaked, entering the farm, and behind them Daisy keeps on laughing. No shopping bag in their hands. “And what ‘bout purchases? What do you think to eat for lunch?†Bo smiles, amused, “Don’t worry uncle Jesse. We ate a lot of blackberries. They were very good, and someone decided to test their property on his hair. A new kind of shampooâ€. Daisy bursts again out laughing, "Poor Enos". Uncle Jesse shakes his head, "When will you understand, you and Enos, that you are no more children?â€. Yeah, an usual day in Hazzard. Anyone is free to choose how to conclude this one-shot, or to begin another one-shot. Every one-shot can have a lot of endings. If you don't like this beginnig, choose another start for another one-shot, and someone will complete that. Yeah, it's similar a round-robin, but more simple (or a think so). A try to solve writer's block.... I try to find out how to conclude a story that is floating in our mind. Maybe it's only a weird idea. Sorry.

I'd like to try a new game. It's something like a round robin, but it's not a round robin. Well, I start a fic (a one-shot), and everyone may add the last part of the fic. Only one part to add in order to create a one-shot. I don't know if it works. Anyway, I give a try. This is the beginning of the fic: It’s an usual day in Hazzard. The sky is blue, and a spring breeze makes the air bracing. There’s usual working at Duke’s farm. Uncle Jesse is looking after farm animals. Bo and Luke are chopping firewood. Daisy is in the kitchen. “Hey cousin, hurry up with that firewood. We have a lot of other things to do†Bo sighs after Luke’s words, “Don’t waste your breath and keep on workin’. You’re not quicker than meâ€. Usual quarrel between cousins. “Stop mutter you two", uncle Jesse’s voice interrupts the fake quarrel between the young Dukes. A door slams, and a gloomy Daisy appears at the farm’s door, her hands on her hips and a determined look in her eyes, “There’s no more flour. How do I make lunch without flour? You should’ve do the shoppingâ€. Bo and Luke lift their eyes. “Boys, the shopping is more important than firewood. So, come on. Daisy, what else they have to buy?â€, uncle Jesse’s usual provident mind. Daisy takes a folded sheet out from her shorts pocket, “Here it’s a list. I want to come with youâ€. All three men lift their eyes. Few after the General Lee is speeding in county’s streets, a cloud of dust behind it. The sun filters between ranches in a wonderful game of lights and shadows. The peace is interrupted by Rosco’s voice from the CB, “Enos, dipstick, where are you hiding to sleep this time? Have you found that dodgy car?†The Dukes burst out laughing, knowing very well Enos can fall asleep in the most unexpected places (if he’s not reading some comics). Suddenly Luke points at a close pond, “Look, there’s a car in the pondâ€. Bo and Daisy looks towards the pond. “It’s Enos’s patrol carâ€, Daisy nearly shouts. The fear clutches them: Enos is inside the car? From their position they can’t see all the pond’s shore, in part hidden by trees; perhaps Enos is somewhere out there, on the shore, waiting for someone to come. Or they hope so. Perhaps it’s not an usual day in Hazzard. (cue anyone)
