Luke kept running after Bo and almost caught him when he tripped and fell but the younger man's fear propelled him to his feet again before Luke could stop him. Breathing hard Luke finally got close enough to reach the back of Bo's shirt, grabbing hold he tackled Bo to the ground holding him there waiting for the blonde to calm down and carefully take stock of the things around him rationally without letting the fear overpower him.

"Dang!" Luke took off in pursuit of Bo before he hurt himself in his blind run to get away from the sounds that were suddenly so frightening to him.

Luke guided Bo across the yard heading around the house. Suddenly out of nowhere Daisy jumps out wearing a halloween mask causing Luke as well as Bo to travel in reverse upon first seeing her. Chuckling Luke takes a deep breath letting it out slowly. "that's just Daisy."

Luke kept one hand on Bo's shoulder talking soothingly "Easy Bo calm down you know those sounds and that's all they are is the same ole familiar sounds your used to hearing nothing to be afraid of."

"It's alright Bo it's just a bucket nothin' else." Just as Luke finishes speaking the barn door swings open banging against the side of the building again another occurance that would happen in high wind if the door wasn't latched good. Keeping a hand on Bo's shoulder Luke watched carefully prepared to take Bo inside if it became more than he could deal with but so far he was dealing with it pretty well.

Luke slowly started to circle around the farm suddenly an old bucket rattled and clanged across the way in front of them as if being blown by a high wind only there was no wind that day. He looked at Bo watching him closely as they continued on their circuit of the farm.

Luke nodded and put an arm around Bo's waist guiding him around the house where he knew Jesse or Daisy was waitning he himself didn't know where exactly either one of them would be. "I know Bo, and ya will get better"

Luke nodded with a sheepish look he knew Bo's personality hadn't changed because of all this. He didn't know why they were trying to trick Bo except they thought he'd balk otherwise. "I know buddy, I really don't know why we's tryin' ta be sneaky about it. I know ya wanna get better but this way is gonna be hard on ya and we wasn't sure you was up for it but somethin's gotta be done and soon before it goes to far."

Luke looked back at Bo trying not to give any uneasy feelings he had away by the expression on his face. "hm?" he asked casually as if it were just some prank Bo was questioning him about.

Climbs out the front and waits for Bo by the car. Wondering what to do next he knew Jesse and Daisy were still waiting for them.

Luke sighed and shook his head knowing that Bo was trying to find a reason to be able to sleep in the General but Luke just didn't think anything he came up with would convince Jesse to allow it. "ya will hafta talk ta Uncle Jesse about it"

"Bo ya know Jesse will never allow it. Yer safer in the house than ya are out here anyway." Luke spoke quietly but firmly knowing Jesse would have none of it. He might let them sleep in the barn when they needed some time alone to think or something like that but for the most part he put his foot down they were all to be inside in their own beds come bedtime. It had always been that way and Bo knew it as well as he and Daisy did.

"No yer not, Jesse's not gonna stand fer that and you know it." Luke shook his head looking back at Bo.

Luke looked back at Bo laying in the backseat one arm over his eyes before climbing over into the drivers seat and turning the stock car around toward home. Not saying anything until they had reached the farm again. "Bo we're home"

Luke moved his foot and leaned back against the passenger seat breathing hard he looked over at Bo. Gld to know that at least the fear hadn't totally overpowered everything in Bo and he could still use his driving skills. "that was close cousin...too close"

Luke somehow managed to get Bo's foot off the accelerator and the car immediately began to slow down but not enough to take the upcoming sharp curve. Reaching his foot a little further he stepped on the brake desperately trying to slow the car more before they reached the curve and went off the road and down the embankment.

Luke's eyes widened in alarm as the general picked up speed. Sure they drove fast but it was always on purpose and they both could keep excellent control of the car but Bo wasn't in control this time. He was driving scared and that was the reason for the increased speed. Making a split second decision Luke tries to move Bo's foot off the gas so he himself can step on teh brake and slow the car down before they have an accident.

"Bo?" Luke questioned worriedly placing a hand on the younger blonde man's shoulder "Hey it's ok, it was only Mr. Jenkins pickup backfiring"

Luke pulled out of the yard thinking he'd have to explain to Jesse later what was going on he probably thought Luke was 'rescuing' Bo from what was planned. Driving along down the dirt road headed for the feed and seed store they met Mr. Jenkins who's pickup backfired just as the back wheels of the two vehicles got even with one another.

"Huh, oh yeah comin" Luke mutters a curse under his breath as he heads toward the General. He had to come up with something fast so he didn't have to come up with a false errand and to keep them there.

Luke swallows thinking trying to come up with a believable errand. He hadn't counted on Bo asking specifically what it was when he'd made the excuse in order to get Bo outside.

Luke waited patiently as Bo readied himself to go outside. WHen he was ready to go they went out of the bedroom and out the house together. Luke keeping close to Bo ready to stop him from a blind reckless flee and hurting himself at any moment.

I need ya ta go with me fer a few minutes Bo....we uh gotta run an errand fer Jesse and it's gonna take both of us ta do it." Luke hoped Bo would buy the excuse because it was the only thing he could think of to get him out of the house.

"yes sir" Luke nods heading for his and Bo's room to get Bo...goes in and sees Bo laying on his bed huddled under the covers. approaches and touches his shoulder lightly. "Bo ya asleep?"

Luke nodded silently and gave Daisy a quick look to see if she was ready for this. He wasn't quite sure he was but the state Bo was in couldn't continue.
