Cause we are really really Dukes deprived...we've got a one in a million chance of seeing any of the cast memebers over here as it is and I know quite a few Dukes fans over here who would appriciate the chance to have them here!! Failing that I'd say Atlanta again, I loved that place and it's close to Convington - the original filming place1

I know a lot of people who stopped watching because John was killed off, including myself for a long time. I think lots of viewers went thorugh the mourning of the character with Clark LOL. However, I soon got to watching it again and i'm so glad I did because in Clark you can see the little things he's picked up from his dad (or Tom Welling from John if you like) and its almost like John's still there a little. Plus I love the Superman story and Smallville never stopped exciting me or driving into me the emotions it did when John was there. Course lots of us wish Jonathan had never gone, same as the reunion movies we wish Jesse and Boss had never gone...truth is, sadly, in most stories the main character will lose a parental figure in their lives because it makes them stronger in a weird way. It certainly did to Clark. Still, if I ever want to go back to watch the ones with him in, its easy for me to just flip back the time as I flip back through the DVD's LOL. He's never lost, I just skip the end of Season 5 LOL

No worries The DVD boxsets from season 1-5 arn't too much on websites such as amazon or play.com now, might be eaisier for you to just by them! Its a worthy investment to watch John in the most amazing fatherly role he's had to date

You know, of all the extra relatives they put into the Dukes, Jeb Staurt has always been my favourite!! He wasn't a replacement, he wasn't a direct relation like Jud, but he by far was the one that acted most like them!! He just seemed to work with John and Tom nicely as Bo and Luke and had a bit of both boy's personalities in him! Anyone else got any thoughts on the one and only Jeb Stuart Duke?

Completly agree on both points!! Dukes of Hazzard is by far the best fandom i've ever written in, and I think its because the show has so many loop holes that makes it possible for those who only like to play with original characters the oppertunites to play with how the Dukes came about. For instance, we never knew how Bo and Luke actually got caught shine running if they were such good drivers, we never knew exactly who Jesse's wife was - Martha or Lavinia. We never knew exactly why Luke hit Bo round the head with a baseball bat when they were kids, how LAvinia's passing affected them, how Luke came to join the Marines and exactly what he did and what he went through, how they each decided to leave the farm to follow their futures. Equally, their futures with families are left completly open ended. Not everything is completly sewn together in Dukes and that's what makes fan fiction in that fandom possible. No one can pick your story apart for being factually wrong because there are hardly any guidelines to go by. I respect most fan fic writers on this site greatly and its interesting to read what other people think would happen or have happened to our beloved characters. Thanks for starting this thread Pen Dragon, there's been loads of negative comments flung around about fan fic and round robins here, but very few that actually celebrated the work and pride that goes into some of these stories for all involved which is a sad thing. The episode with John in has aired now, it was the Smallville Season 10 premier and he did an amazing job! I miss those father son scenes, and the one in this episode is one of the best, only wish they had brought him back to life LOL. I definitly recommend watching!! My favourite scene comes from the end of I think my FAVOURITE episode - Brotherly Love. Its a double-meaning title in my opinion and a double-meaning scene which is my favourite. At the end when Judd's said goodbye and Luke, like he does, won't cry. Bo walks up to him and simply says 'You know it seems to me a fella once said...something about not being able to stand seeing a grown man cry.' Its just a simple reminder that, even though his real brother may be leaving him, he's still got the little brother he's always had in Bo right beside him. I'm a little disappointed that they never did anything more with Bo and Luke's brotherly relationship in the show - Bo being a little jealous or something - but that ending always makes up for it

It says that it is their voices, it would be interesting to find out for certain if it is. The reason their voices might not be recognisable is because for cartoons some voices are edited to make them funnier or better for the character they were assigned to.

Same here, I never put that people should get punished for wanting to stick with it, I've already said that even if you all do want to go on I will step out. All I wanted to suggest - and what I did suggest - was that it didn't seem like that much fun anymore when the scores are all just going round in circles therefore a three-way tie would be the most sensible ending to the game instead of having it go on for months and months pointlessly. I don't mind whichever you guys decide to do, but that's my vote and the scores I last posted were my last for this game. Its not fun for me anymore and if i'm honest it hasn't been for a while but I stuck with it out of loyalty for my favourite characters. Apologies if it seemed like I was punishing anyone for wanting to go on but that's not what I intended nor did I feel like that was my point at all?

And to put the record straight, no this is not because Bo's having points taken away from him. Its happened to other characters on here too and its not fair. I for sure am stepping away from this no matter what is voted, but personally as a paticipant I would like to see all three win cause i'm sure each of us likes them all the same. I voted for both Luke and Bo during the course cause they are my favourites.

What the heck has been going on here?! Both Jessi Duke and Jaime Lee are taking double points of off characters? The numbers are all messed up! Okay, I really think this is getting silly now. People are, knowingly or not, doing double points and that's what started to happen earlier on in this game. Things are going round and round in circles and have been for ages, so much so that its not being enjoyable anymore in my opinion, its just getting frustrating! These three characters are people's favourites and even if one more character is elimated, the amount of people playing now means its just gonna keep going round and round in circles! Can we just agree that these three characters all get the honour of being Hazzardnet ultimate favourites and put this to rest?
