Bo nodded in silent agreement getting gingerly to his feet after hugging Luke in thanks, waiting for Luke before he headed out the door and to the General.
-
He swallowed and fought back more tears as he saw the promise shining in Luke's eyes. Bo nodded his head and smiled gratefully at his older cousin. If Luke had given him his word as a Duke, then it was enough to make Bo believe for now when he needed it the most that Luke could keep him safe from anything and that he really would be alright.
-
Bo held onto Luke like he would disappear if he dared to let him go, burying his head into his shoulder and nuzzling there for saftey, fighting back the fast flowing tears he knew was going to come if he let them. "They ain't gonna get me no more..."
-
Bo closed his eyes and looked down to the floor, silent tears dripping onto the dirt ground. He nodded and squeezed Luke's hand. "It's all over ain't it....it really is all over..."

Hey, just to say your link is wrong. Its actually http://www.fanfiction.net/~dixierebel :-)

At the sharper pull on his hand and the mention of a member of his family, Bo jolted and blinked like he'd been stung. He looked over at Luke finally, his eyes swimming with new tears as he realised that it was indeed all over. There was no one in the cabin except him and Luke, no one tying him up, no one drugging him to make him ill....no one except the one person who was always beside him through everything, who would always keep him safe... "Luke....."
-
As Luke took his hand he quickly clamped his own round it, needing the support although his look was still blank. He wanted nothing more than t run from that place, nothing more than to run the General through the small shack and destroy every single memory that would always reside here. But his body felt like it had been filled with lead. He couldn't move, rooted to the spot through fear and an inexpleciable feeling of sorrow. And yet, something inisde of him was telling him to force himself to stay, telling him that by running away he was letting them win, he was letting them take a fear supported grip around his life again. He never wanted to feel like that again...
-
The blank look in Bo's eyes however remained. He didn't respond to Luke's touch, only blinked slowly as he saw everything happening in front of him again. He could see the men walking around, discussing what they were planning to do thinking Bo couldn't hear in the sick state they had put him in....but he could hear everythin. Everything was so clear that was why they had made the threats when they had realised that he could.
-
Bo let Luke just lean over and take it from his hand. He was numb inside at seeing this all again, at watching the whole scene that he could remember happening through a concussion and being drugged. He didn't actually know how long he had been held here for....everything had just passes in a haze of blackness and semi-conciousness. He looked over to the bed in the other corner....that was where he had been laid down and tied to when he first started feeling ill and could no longer sit up on his own....that was when they had started with the threats....
-
He closed his eyes briefly, squeezing the ropes in his hand before releasing them and hesitantly opening the door to the stove....reaching in and pulling out a syringe...
-
Bo doesn't respond to Luke, swallowing himself and stepping inside the small hut, his hand instantly darting for the lightswitch on the wall. He blinked against the light as it illuminated the dingy hut and swallowed harder as the room came into view. It was nothing great, just one big room with a table and a couple of chairs in one corner, a bed in the opposite one and a small stove on the other. After a moment he crossed over to the stove and knelt down beside it, lightly brushing the blood stain on the wood where his head had leant before fingering the ropes that lay curled around the bottom legs of the stove.
-
He barly even noticed or registared his cousin's hand on his shoulder as his own slid away from the back of his neck. He stepped gingerly forward towards the small hut andslowly pushed the door open....
-
Swallowing as Luke pulled up outside the hut, he carefully and slowly hoisted himself out the General, using the car to support him with one hand as he walked slowly towards it, not even flinching at how hot the front end was. He looked around and winced slighty as he saw a small pool of dried blood on the floor, his hand unconciously finding the back of his head where the bruise still remained slightly.
-
Bo smiled back and turned towards the front....and suddenly his smile faded. "Luke...." He pointed to a small hut up ahead with a shaking hand. "Go there...."
-
Bo yelled his trademark rebel yell as the General soared through the air, grinning and leaning his head slightly out the window before pulling it sharply back in as it orange stock car connected firmly with the ground. He burst out laughing, leaning forward to tenderly rub his back. It didn't hurt....just kinda twinged a little. The moonshine was great at numbing pain and it worked for a good couple of hours. He looked over at Luke, slowly getting his breath back. "God...i've missed....that...."
-
Bo shook his head and grinned wildly. "I'll be fine! C'mon we ain't done this together in weeks.....please Luke...." He looked up at him with those big blue puppy dog eyes, begging for the surge of adrenaline and joy that sending the General Lee over a ramp brought. "PLease...."
-
Bo grinned as Luke stepped hard on the accelerator, feeling the wind instantly whip through his long blonde hair, feeling the surge of adrenaline as the skidded and slid over the mud flats, tearing up the land. He had never felt so alive in weeks and his only wish was that he could be the one driving the General, having as much fun as he knew Luke was having. But he never let on that he was a tad disappointed that he wasn't driving, only whooped and laughed along with Luke as the small dips caused the General to fly up off the ground. He quickly pointed over to a freash mound of dirt and grinned. "Let's get the General airbourne!"
-
Bo grinned back at Luke, thinking about how many times Luke had been able to 'read his mind' so to speak. It was almost like they shared the same thoughts the same feelings at times. "Yeah....we'll go up there and then go to Cooter's and pick up the new parts we was meant to get last week, if he's still held them for us that is."
-
As he watched the landscape race by, he whooped happily as he felt the cool breeze whip through his hair again, heard the powerful engine growl. He looked over to Luke as he asked the questions and just shrugged. "I dunno Luke...I just....I never felt safer anywhere exceptin' the farm than when I's in the General...if anyone can keep me safe when I's goin' through Hazzard its him..."
-
I rekon they should make a CD out of the songs that were sung on the show. They were all so great together.

Bo stood up carefully with Luke, taking the last step down off of the porch and leaning against the post while he waited for Luke. He nodded reassuringly and smiled as he held out his arm for Luke to take to support him as he walked, sensing Jesse might take it a little better if he knew that Bo was being rational and clam and not so determined to do everything on his own.
-
At least Uncle Jesse knew how Bo was feeling....maybe he would even talk to Luke a little about it later on when he wasn't around... He chuckled a little at Luke's comment, under any normal circumstances, he would love to be waited on hand and foot...but this was hardly normal circumstance. He quickly glanced at Luke's watch and read the time, frowning slightly as he looked out over the yard...looking at the 4th member of his family that was gleaming in the sunshine....looking at the other protector in his life who had always kept him out of as much trouble as a car could and sometimes even more... His breath caught in his throat as he realised what the implications of his actions could be....but he went ahead and said it anyway. "Luke....let's go for a ride...."
-
Sighing as Luke went inside he looked helplessly to Uncle Jesse, hating being waited on so much. There were some things he just wanted to do for himself, somethings he just needed to do for himself. But he smiled his thanks back up at Luke as he handed him the pills and a glass of water, quickly swallowing both down and resting the empty glass by his foot, leaning back against Luke again.
-
Bo felt like he could sit there forever in Luke's embrace. It was so warm, loving and comforting. It always had been and always would be.....always there to provide that little bit of extra support when he needed it, always there to comfort him when he was afraid. He squeezed Luke's hand a little tighter as he pulled away slightly. "I need my antibiotics..." He hated to ruin the moment with the illusion that he was almost completly better, but he had to take them....the doctor never told him what could happen if he didn't...
-
Bo looked up at his older cousin, amazed at just how much Luke could express with just his eyes alone. Luke had never been a man to express his feelings, but Bo had come to recognise the subtle qualities that changed in his eyes when certain emotions were playing with his head. Now, they shone with trust and love, promises that everything would be alright, just like he always promised. He smiled back at his older cousin and gripped his hand, wriggling in between Luke's legs to lean against him properly, feeling safer there.
