  1. Bo doesn't respond to Luke, swallowing himself and stepping inside the small hut, his hand instantly darting for the lightswitch on the wall. He blinked against the light as it illuminated the dingy hut and swallowed harder as the room came into view. It was nothing great, just one big room with a table and a couple of chairs in one corner, a bed in the opposite one and a small stove on the other. After a moment he crossed over to the stove and knelt down beside it, lightly brushing the blood stain on the wood where his head had leant before fingering the ropes that lay curled around the bottom legs of the stove.
  2. He barly even noticed or registared his cousin's hand on his shoulder as his own slid away from the back of his neck. He stepped gingerly forward towards the small hut andslowly pushed the door open....
  3. Swallowing as Luke pulled up outside the hut, he carefully and slowly hoisted himself out the General, using the car to support him with one hand as he walked slowly towards it, not even flinching at how hot the front end was. He looked around and winced slighty as he saw a small pool of dried blood on the floor, his hand unconciously finding the back of his head where the bruise still remained slightly.
  4. Bo smiled back and turned towards the front....and suddenly his smile faded. "Luke...." He pointed to a small hut up ahead with a shaking hand. "Go there...."
  5. Bo yelled his trademark rebel yell as the General soared through the air, grinning and leaning his head slightly out the window before pulling it sharply back in as it orange stock car connected firmly with the ground. He burst out laughing, leaning forward to tenderly rub his back. It didn't hurt....just kinda twinged a little. The moonshine was great at numbing pain and it worked for a good couple of hours. He looked over at Luke, slowly getting his breath back. "God...i've missed....that...."
  6. Bo shook his head and grinned wildly. "I'll be fine! C'mon we ain't done this together in weeks.....please Luke...." He looked up at him with those big blue puppy dog eyes, begging for the surge of adrenaline and joy that sending the General Lee over a ramp brought. "PLease...."
  7. Bo grinned as Luke stepped hard on the accelerator, feeling the wind instantly whip through his long blonde hair, feeling the surge of adrenaline as the skidded and slid over the mud flats, tearing up the land. He had never felt so alive in weeks and his only wish was that he could be the one driving the General, having as much fun as he knew Luke was having. But he never let on that he was a tad disappointed that he wasn't driving, only whooped and laughed along with Luke as the small dips caused the General to fly up off the ground. He quickly pointed over to a freash mound of dirt and grinned. "Let's get the General airbourne!"
  8. Bo grinned back at Luke, thinking about how many times Luke had been able to 'read his mind' so to speak. It was almost like they shared the same thoughts the same feelings at times. "Yeah....we'll go up there and then go to Cooter's and pick up the new parts we was meant to get last week, if he's still held them for us that is."
  9. As he watched the landscape race by, he whooped happily as he felt the cool breeze whip through his hair again, heard the powerful engine growl. He looked over to Luke as he asked the questions and just shrugged. "I dunno Luke...I just....I never felt safer anywhere exceptin' the farm than when I's in the General...if anyone can keep me safe when I's goin' through Hazzard its him..."
  10. I rekon they should make a CD out of the songs that were sung on the show. They were all so great together.
  11. Bo stood up carefully with Luke, taking the last step down off of the porch and leaning against the post while he waited for Luke. He nodded reassuringly and smiled as he held out his arm for Luke to take to support him as he walked, sensing Jesse might take it a little better if he knew that Bo was being rational and clam and not so determined to do everything on his own.
  12. At least Uncle Jesse knew how Bo was feeling....maybe he would even talk to Luke a little about it later on when he wasn't around... He chuckled a little at Luke's comment, under any normal circumstances, he would love to be waited on hand and foot...but this was hardly normal circumstance. He quickly glanced at Luke's watch and read the time, frowning slightly as he looked out over the yard...looking at the 4th member of his family that was gleaming in the sunshine....looking at the other protector in his life who had always kept him out of as much trouble as a car could and sometimes even more... His breath caught in his throat as he realised what the implications of his actions could be....but he went ahead and said it anyway. "Luke....let's go for a ride...."
  13. Sighing as Luke went inside he looked helplessly to Uncle Jesse, hating being waited on so much. There were some things he just wanted to do for himself, somethings he just needed to do for himself. But he smiled his thanks back up at Luke as he handed him the pills and a glass of water, quickly swallowing both down and resting the empty glass by his foot, leaning back against Luke again.
  14. Bo felt like he could sit there forever in Luke's embrace. It was so warm, loving and comforting. It always had been and always would be.....always there to provide that little bit of extra support when he needed it, always there to comfort him when he was afraid. He squeezed Luke's hand a little tighter as he pulled away slightly. "I need my antibiotics..." He hated to ruin the moment with the illusion that he was almost completly better, but he had to take them....the doctor never told him what could happen if he didn't...
  15. Bo looked up at his older cousin, amazed at just how much Luke could express with just his eyes alone. Luke had never been a man to express his feelings, but Bo had come to recognise the subtle qualities that changed in his eyes when certain emotions were playing with his head. Now, they shone with trust and love, promises that everything would be alright, just like he always promised. He smiled back at his older cousin and gripped his hand, wriggling in between Luke's legs to lean against him properly, feeling safer there.
  16. She nodded, laughing. "Yeah they can be....but they mean well sugar..." She soon gets a call from the other side of the room and is put back to work. Bo's shoulder's tensed underneath Luke's hands when he heard what B.L was doing. He breathed gently in an effort to stop the worry flooding his emotions and taking over his actions. This scared him....this was not lke him at all....what was happening to him, why was such normal things hitting him so hard all of a sudden? "Well its good that she...uh....has found somethin' ta do....and she's with Daisy so....she'll be alright...."
  17. Daisy smiled and waved at Luke as he left, before picking up and tray and saying to B.L. "Nah, Bo was just worried 'bout us is all. Usually I aint workin very long afore them boys come in and make sure everythin's alright." Bo lifted his head off Jesse's shoudler as Luke pulled back into the farm yard and smiled back at his older cousin, nodding as he said everything was fine, although he was stll a little worried, sensing Luke wasn't exactly telling the whole truth. Still, he trusted Luke and if it was something he should know about then Luke would tell him. As Luke sat on the porch, he slowly got to his feet and carefully walked down the steps to sit on the second one down from Luke, sitting in front of him and leaning back against him.
  18. Daisy nodded and headed back outside with him, smiling at B.L "She'll be fine, she's goin' ta stick behind the bar until you two can give her some 'confidence' if ya know what I mean...Don't worry about Bo, maybe this scare has just kinda, made him think differently about things is all..."
  19. Daisy frowned, slightly, also sitting on a barell opposite. "What d'ya mean ain't Bo's thoughts? Someone else still controllin' him?" She quickly looked through the door as a burst of noise rose up and she smiled as she saw her stand in girl taking care of some buisness.
  20. Eventually Bo opened his eyes again when he felt himself drifiting off to sleep. He was still tired but he was too scared to really rest. He sighed contentedly and looked out over the farm that had been his home since he could remember. He loved it here and the thought that Uncle Jesse may have made him leave had hurt more than any of his illness ever could. He looked over at his Uncle with a smile, his Uncle Jesse had always been there through everything and he was so grateful he didn't really ever know how to repay him for the lifetime of Love, Happiness and Care he had given not just to him but to Luke and Daisy too. Heck, were it not for Uncle Jesse taking them in, he would be with some strange family and wouldn't have ever got to build up the great relationship he had iwth his cousins. Oh yes, he had so much to be thankful to Uncle Jesse for. He wrapped his long arms round his Uncle's waist and leant his head on his shoulder. Daisy sighed, she knew her cousins were protective, especially Luke. "Luke....B.L's already waited some tables....she got a good scare from the red haired guy in there but she managed to fight him off...she just needs some more confidence is all. She's doing fine." She frowned quizzically again as Luke explained about Bo. "Well why would he be so upset about B.L working? I work here it wouldn't be no different...."
  21. Bo sighed and sank back lazily onto the swing, feeling the gentle rocking soothing his already worried nerves and the cool breeze calming the tremble he had developed. He closed his eyes and tilted his head back, breathing deep breaths of fresh country air, thankful for each and every one. Daisy nodded and looked sheepish at Luke's almost angry expression. "Well she was bored and....well I asked her if she did want to work here and she said yes....it's nice to have someone to work with....she is a big girl you know." She remembers the red haired guy though and looks even more sheepish. "WHy is Bo so worried?"
  22. Bo looked up and nodded, pushing himself to his feet using the table and chair, leaning on the wall slightly and then reaching out for Jesse to walk through the door and onto the porch. Daisy headed over to the bar and gave B.L a few more orders, before spotting Luke. "Hey Luke! What are you doin' here? I didn't think you'd want ta let Bo outta your sight fer 5 seconds!"
  23. Bo watched him exit the house and sighed slightly as he heard the roar of the General's powerful engine, imagining the wind in his hair and the thrill of making a jump as he heard it speed away. He was getting better, there was no doubting it now, but he couldn't help but feel that the recovery just wasn't going quick enough.
  24. Bo didn't really want Luke to go, not everything that had happened. But he also wanted to know that everything was alright. HIs breath caught slightly in his throat as it constricted a little in fear as he said the next words. "Yeah....please...."
  25. Bo shrugged. "Dunno....just got that feelin' is all....don't matter, Daisy'll CB if they need you right?"
