D/ Archery Contest

Once again the lady was knee deep in children, some of them clinging to her trousers, others attempting to climb up her in order to get a cuddle. Nearly all of them were dressed in their pyjama's ready for bed, but not one of them looked like they were tired enough to go there.....besides her that was. Her hair was a mess, she looked about ready to cry and her clothes were a lot more untidy than when Luke had met her at the beginning of the day. She certainly couldn't hear what Luke was saying.
Zack bit his lip a little and looked up at Luke, even though he was only little, even he could see what a state she was in.

Zack nodded and headed out with him quietly, holding onto George firmly with the other arm.

*clenches his jaw, shaking his head as he continued on*

"Kay...." Zack replied softly, climbing down off the kitchen chair again.

"You know Luke your really getting on my nerves, if you don't like the way I drive then you can get out an' walk the rest of the way! *yells back*

Uncle Jesse!!!
Such a sad episode, poor Bo is the most upset. -
Zack looked up at him questioningly as he paper was put in front of him and the pen put in his hand.

"Don't tell me how to drive Lukas, I know what i'm doing!" *snaps back, trying to keep his concentration on the road*

Again, for a little while there was nothing but silence that greeted the question before Zack looked up with a small nod and said quietly.
"George thinks that'll be ok..."

Zack bit his lip a little, swallowing softly and looking back at George....much like Luke and BO used to do when they were younger....as if speaking some silent language between each other that no one else understood....the only tragic thing was that Zack wasn't doing it with a brother or a friend...he was doing it with a toy.

Zack looked up at him slowly, biting his lip a little.

"G...George....would...would like t'stay a little bit longer..." he murmured quietly, not really wanting to go back to being alone again...but he also didn't want to miss his parents arriving if they ever did....he wanted his parents back so badly...he had no choice but to keep hoping they would do so.

Bo however was well on his way down the roads, tears sliding down his face as he little legs ran as fast as they could go to get back to the farm.

Zack nodded softly, hanging onto George a little bit more.

*remains focused on the road, working out in his mind what would be the best and fastest route to take. When it really mattered, he could work these things out quicker than Luke even could. It was just most of the time he was having too much fun with his driving to really think about where he was going. This time though it mattered and so he knew where to head.*

For a moment there was no sound and no movement inside the farmhouse...before Zack slowly shook his head.
"No..."

Bo was already one step ahead of his cousin though, as soon as Luke's feet were in the window he had stamped on the accelerator sending rocks and dust into the air and was soon speeding off down the road towards where his Uncle had last said he was.

"Kay...." Zack whispered softly, pulling his knees up so his feet were on the chair, resting George on his knees as he fiddled with the cuddly animal's paws.

*skids into the yard just as Jesse lost contact with them, pressing the horn quickly as he did a 180 turn to make a quick dash back the way he had come*

*refuses to pick up the CB, not about to talk to Luke when he was using that tone of voice, heading round the last corner to get to the farm*

Zack nodded a little, not looking up as he did.

*sighs heavily, shaking his head as he knew that meant he had to go pick up Luke....the last thing he wanted to do at the moment was sit with him in an enclosed space and listen to how much trouble he apparently single handedly got them all in*
Fine, guess i'll go pick up Lukas and meet you there then
