  1. Ghost Hunters is great! I never miss a new episode when I can help it. Have you seen the one at the Stanley Hotel yet? That's a really good one, one of my personal favorites.
  2. My mom had a Rosco moment times two the other day. The first incident happened as she was vacuumming the hallway. Somehow, and I'm not sure how, she tripped over her upright vacuum and fell on her bad knee. The second incident, just a little later, happened in the kitchen. She was making a pineapple upside down cake in one of her iron skillets. She flipped the cake out onto a plate to cool, but it didn't land centered on the plate. So she jiggled the plate to center the cake, but the cake jiggled faster than she thought it would. It slid right on over to the other side of the plate and burned her hand. As soon as she felt the burn she jiggled the plate the other way and the cake slid right back to the other side and burned that hand too. At that point she set the plate down and told the cake it could stay that way. She's okay, the burns really weren't anything to worry about. And she's laughing about it now that I've given her my sympathy. It was just funny the way she told it over the phone and stressed the word jiggled.
  3. Hey ya'll! The episode your thinking of is "Jacob's Ladder". It is in Season 7 episode 152. Hope that helps!
  4. That article made some good points Capt Redneck. I especially liked the points about the coolers and prices of tickets as well as concession stands. The last race I went to in Talladega, you couldn't get anything for under $5, and that was a 16 oz lemonade. Fortunately for me, small coolers were allowed inside the grandstands so I packed my lunch and drinks.
  5. I think they called her friend Frankie? Does that sound right?
  6. I think the network is NBC. It comes on after Heroes on Monday nights. I didn't watch the whole show because to be honest it bores me. I did however watch the first few minutes, enough to see John strutting his stuff as a 70's husband hosting a wife swapping party.
  7. Can I jump in here and have a go at this one? I think it's Sheriff Spike Loomis.
  8. Wow Roger Duke, good memory, you sure remember more than I do! I know they went thru Hard Labor Creek into Hatchapee County to face Sheriff Emmett "Spike" Loomis, but that's about all I remember. You're welcome for the help and good luck with your map.
  9. Wasn't there a map on Days of Shine and Roses when Boss and Uncle Jesse have their race? It seems like Cooter pulled out a map and they showed a close up. I haven't seen that episode in a while though, I'll have to watch it again.
  10. Howdy Boss Hogg 2! Welcome to Hazzardnet! It's a great place to be.
  11. I'm gonna take a stab at this one. Here's my guesses: 9) CNH 320 10) $20,000 I think 11) Jesse L. and Lucas K. 12) I think it's quarterly. 13) True? 14) Emptied out and ran into the creek. Cooter mentioned something about some real happy fish if I remember right. 15) Roxanne 16) 2
  12. Hey ya'll! This was my first Dukesfest and I enjoyed it immensely. We got back on Monday evening after making a side trip to visit my brother in the bootheel of Missouri. My friend and I didn't get any autographs or wait in any lines, we mostly just meandered about enjoying the sights and sounds of Hazzard County. We did get to see the Opry on Friday night and had excellent seats (two steps from the stage). The shuttle ride back to the hotel from the opry was adventurous. Our driver, a retired dirt track racer, was pretending to be a Duke boy running from ol' Rosco. I don't think I've ever heard a mini-van squeal its tires before. He also knew exactly where the dip in the road was and hit it with enough speed that we caught some air. My friend and I laughed the whole three minute ride back to the hotel, as we hung on for dear life of course. All in all, it was a great weekend and we can't wait to do it all again next year!

    Concerts?

I love going to concerts! I've been to quite a few of them so I won't name them all. The one's I enjoyed the most were Lynryd Skynryd, Keith Urban (twice), Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry and Gary Allan, and Sawyer Brown. Now I'm ready to see the Dukes cast at the Grand Ol' Opry for Dukesfest. I'm sure that'll be a concert to remember too.
  14. Phoenix wasn't all that exciting to me. I watched the whole race, but a few times there I just felt like going to bed. Don't get me wrong, there were a few exciting moments just not a whole lot. I'm leaving for Talladega on Thursday morning so here's hoping that the super speedway shows us some excitement and some good racing.
  15. Just a heads up ya'll. It looks like Lake Placid 2 will be airing on the SciFi channel on April 28 at 9/8C. John Schneider appears to be one of the main characters from what I can tell.
  16. On Saturday I went to see "Chicago" in St Louis, Missouri. It was great. I've seen the movie and honestly didn't think much of it, but the live version was so much better. Tom was awesome and received his own standing ovation at the end. I would recommend this musical to anyone and if Tom is a member of the cast you get the chance to talk with him before and after the show. He makes an appearance in the lobby area to sign autographs, take pictures, and sell his cd's. It was a great experience. Good job Tom!!!
  17. Welcome to Hazzardnet Eleonora! This is a great place to be!
  18. Or how bout "A stranger is just a friend ya haven't met yet."
  19. Welcome to Hazzardnet Roger! This is a great place to be. I've also been waiting to hear anything about the Enos series. I've never seen it myself, but would love to!
