Sorrell Booke (Boss Hogg) confessed it's awful. In an interview he said "I asked the prop man what's going to be used for the raw liver? He said he looked around, and the only thing he could find that looked like raw liver was raw liver. They put a plate of it down in front of me, and I said "What the hell. It can't kill you. But I'll tell you, it sure tastes sickening." ๐Ÿ˜‚

It seems everybody is using shine to fuel their engines! Well you kids remember, the old man ( me....Hobie) is using his own special shine ......( who would or could make better shine than the town drunk? lol ), and I'm going down the straightaway just out of the curve! ( right now I'm waving at Daisy and Meadow!! ) and I'm about to pour another jug straight into the engine and one straight into me! * *Actually, since my wife is off tomorrow and I don't have to drive, I'm about to indulge in my regular beer ( Millwaukee's Best Ice.....Ice Beer is my fav.!! ) WE'll still need to celebrate DOHD on Friday, even though I can't sleep in Sat.! Ha! Ha!

I own the complete series on DVD as well as Knight Rider 2000 the tv movie from 91 but sadly that's a region 2 dvd so I e only been able to watch it a couple times. My brother actually bought me a Michael Knight "Tubz" over the weekend. They're like these officially licensed ducks based on characters

I like the way you think. A lot of good things came from season 5 and that's one of them.

This is my Dukes rocking chair I had when I wasna kid. My aunt's husband made it for me in 2001 when I was still only three. It's graphic is obviously from the Dukes of Hazzard Racing for Home. I took it outside and got some of that wood cleaner that you dilute with water and went to work. My dukes car collection is on top of the box next to it!

My all-time favorite ep is High Octane. I'm not just saying that to be polite since you like it. I've said that on many threads. It sure was a bummer when they starting filming in California but by then I was hooked for life. They could have filmed in Antarctica and I still would have watched.

I just googled and found out it's real. That man actually ate REAL RAW LIVER. I could never. Like I wanna so I could say I did but I think I'll stick to buttermilk and popcorn oh my.

I swear High Octane is one of the best episodes of any show I've ever seen. I may be biased for Road Pirates but I really think High Octane is Duke perfection. There's a music note that plays when you first see the Rolls on the criminals property. I never hear that note in any other episode but I used to think it sounded so good and helped set the mood for what was going on

I could be wrong but this may be related to the type of screens PlayStation and GameBoy would be out put on. Gameboy had no backlight so they often shifted tones of colors to make them appear better. The PlayStation also relies on scan lines for certain pictures to look a specific way. For example the sky might pop a bit more if playing on a crt tv.

Are any of y'all like me? When you read a book that is made into a movie, do you see and hear the movie cast, songs, music, cues, scores etc.?

A bit different but there is a graphic novel, or a series of comic books, refered to as Blackest Night. They're Green Lantern comics. I tell you when I read those I actually imagined a score. No other book did I imagine the score. I still remember reading one of the Double Fudge books in fourth grade and to this day I can visually remember how I picture their house by the creek and the apartment building in another. Now I've been reading the manga of One Piece lately so that I can read what the One Piece is when we know and I do hear the music that I hear when I watch the show as I read it. I really don't know if the same can be said for any other books. Now if I read Star Trek or Star Wars books I'll of course hear Harrison For and William Shatner but it takes something unique to make me hear the score as I read.

Yep! Used to love the theme song when I was little. We watched it so much I never even thought anything of it being in black and white. I mean like I wouldn't even realize it was in black and white if that makes sense. It just was cause it didn't need to be in color. If you get the chance look up Grand Theft Auto (1977) if you've never seen it. It's the first film ol Ronnie ever directed

I'm not as obsessed as I am with some other shows but I'm definitely a fan. I used to swear Gilligan and Dick Grayson wore the same sweater.

I love Coy and Vance! No disrespect to anyone because it's not the actors vault but I would rather watch some Coy and Vance then ANY episode without Rosco or Cooter. As in their "replacements". I'm a way Coy and Vance are obviously meant to be copies but they still feel like their own guys. Way more positive and cheerful almost cartoonishly so but it has a charm that works. Have Lester try to act like Rosco after being introduced as some mean dude the blunders seem so forced it doesn't work at all. Same with Cooter's cousins when he sticks his tongue out the exact same way Cooter would. Coy and Vance had the same lines but they were delivered differently and I enjoy it. Plus who doesn't like seeing Enos and Cletus share a squad car in season 5?

I enjoyed it at the start, but the quality definitely dropped off around season 8 or 9 when they announced that there would be a known number of additional seasons. It did get better again toward the end, and I think I watched every episode, but I never bother watching the re-runs even though they're shown often. I think my interest also waned when I read that the main stars were getting $1 million each per episode. Many of the later episodes had run times of under 20 minutes to fit in all the advertising, and I couldn't help remembering why as I watched. The highest paid soap stars here only earn ยฃ250k a year, so it's a bit of a culture shock. Another issue I had was that after the first few seasons, the team of writers obviously could not comprehend that people like the four male leads might spend long periods of time single. With the exception of Sheldon, the others spent quite a bit of time in relationships. Maybe they should've watched the trailer a bit more often.

Jesse was sitting on the dirt bike that was sitting on the bow of the Minnow as Skipper looked at him in the rear view mirror while trying to keep his eyes on the road at the same time. Now Jesse had something in both of his hands as he straddled the dirt bike trying to keep from falling. He noticed Skipper's eyes looking in the rear view mirror so he revealed the first one. It was a moonshine jug. Jesse turned it upside down to show Skipper there was nothing in it. Right away Skipper realized Jesse had used the Professor's coconut moonshine to put in the gas tank of the dirt bike. Jesse tossed the jug down. What he wouid reveal in his other hand would change the complexion of the entire race.....at least for awhile.....
