Ten more days.....It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! I've been listening to a lot of Christmas music lately. Elvis has entered the building.

C= Constipated O= On P= Pastries !........everybody says it stands for Constable On Patrol, but NOW we know better!!

I love the changing of the seasons. I can't imagine how boring it would be to live in a place with little or no seasons or constant temperatures. Every time a new season comes around I celebrate the change. I do have to admit that I like winter turning to spring as the best change of all though. The only thing I don't like about summer is mosquitos.

I used to work in a building which also housed a crèche and an after-schools club for older children. Someone put up signs in the bathrooms about not using "alot of toilet paper". I took them down and replaced them with signs about not using "a lot of toilet paper". About half the people who noticed me changing them couldn't see anything wrong with the original signs! I pointed out that that was exactly the reason I was changing them, so that the kids didn't get the wrong spelling reinforced in their minds. Similar to the "Registeration" story, a local upmarket hotel had "Enterance 100m" on its sign for months a couple of years ago. They eventually changed it.

There is an amusement park near me called Conneaut Lake Park. It is pronounced Connie ought. Their mascot is an otter that is named Connie Otter....sounds similar to your classmate.
