The repeated chasing around the square before they knock the door off the truck is the scene as they're leaving Springville (aka. Hazzard Square redressed) in 'Deputy Dukes'. The guy in the truck doesn't speak, so he isn't credited. Here he is: The truck question is the same one that was driven by Swamp Molly a few episodes earlier. I don't remember the scene with guy jumping from the outhouse, but they could've used the same actor.

Just cheap Sun Dolphins from Wal-Mart. So, what's up with this latest trend of cities wanting to defund police departments. Don't they understand that if Rosco, Enos and Cletus weren't running around in police cars our favorite show would be downright boring.

I was listening to police band the night of my last post, when there was supposed to be even a larger crowd down the street. Seems some kid tried to sell a stolen gun to the security guard at the weed shop down the street. He said he wanted to kill a cop and get into a shoot out with them. The guard called the cops and they chased him down the main drag. They stopped him and recovered the gun without incident. Guess the kid really didn't want that after all. I forgot how interesting it was listening to police band. Last time I did that for an entire evening was back around when Dukes was still originally airing.

The Late JD Hogg....season 3 Boss forecloses on the Duke farm after Rosco and Cletus make them late with the mortgage payment. Jesse accidently breaks the glass on the bank door so all 3 Duke men end up in jail. Right after that Doc Ronald Carney tells Boss he only has 2 weeks to live. Boss starts to worry that he might not make it to Heaven so he starts doing all kind of good deeds including letting the Dukes out and mailing off a bunch of charitable letters, documents and donations. Doc Carney finds out the person who is terminal is actually named Boggs from Hamiltonville and Boss is fine. Waylon says "That ain't gonna matter 'cause when Boss realizes what he's given away, that'll kill him". Carney can't get ahold of Boss so he keeps the charity drive going. In the meantime 2 bad guys steal the postal truck for the Social Security checks. The truck also has Boss's letters in it. When the Dukes tell Boss he's going to live at first he's happy but then sad. Bo and Luke catch the bad guys and Jesse was nice enough to tell Boss he'd still make mortgage payments anyways even though the mail went through anyways and he wouldn't have to since Boss was deeding the farm to him. -- Flash dislike Boss so much that he even barks when he hears his voice on the CB -- There are 3 episodes in a row that feature Boss, this one, Uncle Boss next and then Baa Baa White Sheep

The local television station in Erie Pennsylvania does a "Good Kid" segment every week. Today they showed a kid named Robby Gordon who lives in Chapmanville Pennsylvania. Robby has always been a big help to elderly neighbors and has always wanted to be on the volunteer fire department. He just turned 14 so is now finally eligible to join the FD. In the middle of the story Robby hopped on a golf cart and tooted the horn. You might have guessed it.....The golf cart was orange, had an 01 on the side and the horn played Dixie!
