Beverly lost her husband and Lisa's dad last night Fri 10/7/22.

Hi y'all. We have just learned last night Sat 11/7/20 that our contractor who did our work at home has killed himself in his truck sitting at a red light back in March 2019. Please pray for me, my family, Roger McGinnis and his family. Thank you my Dukes of Hazzard/HazzardNet family.

R. I. P. John Cotton Sr. I have just found out that John Cotton Sr. a Youngstown Ohio auto mechanic of Cotton's Garage on McGuffey RD. was robbed and killed over $20 way back in 2008. He did all the work on my dad's mom and dad's car. I know this is late. But I am just now finding out. Please pray for Cotton, his family and friends and my family and friends.

I just heard that we lost a member of the Dukes community. HazzardNet member Dale The Bold passed away on Sunday. Folks all across CyberHazzard loved Dale's sense of humor and the contributions he made to the fandom. Some of you might not have had a chance to get to know him here, as he's been absent for some time. He'd been fighting cancer the last few years. It's been a rough week. We lost our dog Sadie suddenly and unexpectedly this week. She was the light of our life and to say we're devastated is an understatement. As Jimmie told me, there are no words in the English dictionary or anywhere else to describe the pain of losing a dearest pet, and he's right. We're simply lost without her and the house seems so empty. No whining when it's time for dinner, no tail wagging when we get home, no howling at the doorbell when someone's at the door. Rest in peace, baby dog. We miss you so much.

There seems to be a trend here to post stuff that is a little bit edgy. That's no surprise since the world seems to have gone crazy. Since I have been part of the problem I really am not worthy of acting like Uncle Jesse and getting everybody back it line with a gruff authoritarian voice so I won't...... but I will say this: While I may be tempted in the future to post stuff that displays my anger about insane current events I will not anymore. Link - New England Dukes Website Link - Paul Harrington's tribute to Glenn I met Glenn, his mom, brother Edmund at 05 Dukesfest through another DOH friend. Saw them and Edmund's kids at 06 Dukesfest. Amazing family to spend time with, I wish everyone could have meet them all! My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as they deal with the loss of their loved one. RIP Glenn.

SIL died last than 2 mtonhs after FIL. I don't understand and I don't except anyone else ether too.

Let's just theorize that someone has a family member who has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. Would it be possibly for that person to donate part of their liver to the cancer patient? I've read that the liver can regenerate itself, and that the success rate is above average, but I'm just wondering if anyone can confirm or elaborate on this. Thanks.

It's Thanksgiving here in America and most Americans would agree that we sure have a lot to be thankful for. Of course not everybody on the HazzardNet celebrates because not everybody here is American. There's this feller named HossC who lives across the Big Pond from Hazzard County. About ten years ago, I came bounding onto the HCSD, with my pigtails and ranger hat on. Today, I rarely make a peep, and many know why. I have a good reason for my silence however I have and will never truly leave. Recently this past June, I got married and I now live with my spouse. We are happy and had a beautiful wedding. Hey y'all. I'm not sure if many of you saw my last thread about donating part of a liver to a cancer patient. Well truth be told that question was acually about me donating part of my liver to my granda. He was over at my house on the 7th of march for my birthday, and felt fine. The following Monday he was short of breath whilst walking from the hospital parking lot to the hospital entrance for a routine checkup. The doctors kept him overnight to do tests to see if they could figure out what was wrong with him. I don't think any of the family, my granda included, wee expecting him to be diagnosed with secondary liver cancer on wednesday the 18th, more than a week after …

It's 3:20 AM as I type this. No sleep for me tonight. My only child was killed in a car accident just a few hours ago. This is truly the worst thing that has ever happened to me. She had just bought her first house and had only lived in it a week. She was only a few hundred feet from pulling in the driveway when a young man in a pick up truck came racing from the other direction passing 2 cars in a no passing zone and hit her head on. He wasnt hurt bad and got out of the truck before it exploded. She wasn't killed instantly but died before right after the ambulance arrived. My life has been turned upside down.

This is Troy. We adopted him today! He's a yellow lab/basset hound mix, looks like he might have a little beagle thrown in. We call him a labradasset. LOL. He's certainly living up to his basset heritage right now. He's been snoozing most of the day after bringing him home. Probably all that stress of being in a shelter and traveling. He's a very mellow fellow, very cuddly, and so far, very quiet. He's made himself right at home on our old couch and he's welcome to it. (I think he's already figured out he's going to get spoiled.) I think Flash would certainly approve of this little guy.

8 days over due, my granddaughter decided to make her arrival on 5/19/12. 7:32am. 20 inches, 7 lbs 13 ounces. Getting used to being her mamaw... Have a great memorial day weekend all!

Just offering a little Uncle Jesse advice here. And a little reminder. Any time a new person joins and puts up their first post we should all respond. Even if it is with a single word "Welcome". I have been in their situation before....checked out a forum and received little response for my first post. That doesn't mean I didn't come back the next day. But it can be just enough reason to get them to stay. If they are interested in Hazzard enough to post in the first place, they just might be someone who hangs out for a long time. ❤

As we take that pause for reflection between grocery shopping and Christmas shopping that we call Thanksgiving...I thought it'd be a good idea to share what we're thankful for. Share as much, or as little, as you'd like. Who wants to go first?
