Mark B has been with the best website on the internet since 2009 and was the Fan of the Month recipient in August of 2015. There are some people who claim to be big fans of The Dukes of Hazzard but Mark is not the bragging type. He lets his talents as an artist do all the talking for him. But his work doesn't just talk. It's October and the trick or treaters will be knocking on your door before you know it. Here at the HazzardNet, we've been blessed since mid July with a guy who has treated us with over 460 posts that have delighted us all.....and that's why HossC has been selected as October's fan of the month. Since our Fan of the Month became a pretty rousing success, once we got it going on a more regular basis (you know, like monthly) we figured we'd take a chance on selecting a Fan of the Year for 2009. Trying to pick a FAN OF THE YEAR is like asking Uncle Jesse to pick his favorite ear of corn out of the 40 acres they plant. It's not possible to be a bigger fan of the Dukes of Hazzard than BoJamesDuke and that's why she is being picked as February's fan of the month. A few of us could put up a legitimate argument that we are "as big of a Dukes fan" as Bo but none of us could say we're a bigger fan. Considering how much Bo loves the Dukes, it's simply not possible. Bo just turned 21 on January 28th and resides across the Hazzard Pond over there in England. It's November and it's cooling off outside but things are always warm and cozy on the HazzardNet with nice folks like Lori Davenport hanging out here and that's one reason she has been selected as HazzardNet's Fan of the Month. Lori is pretty famous around here. She's somewhat of a celebrity since she really is from Hazard. We don't mind that her hometown of Hazard Kentucky forgot to add the other Z. All that matters to us is that Lori loves the same favorite show we all do and, in many ways, she represents what the Dukes of Hazzard is all about. March 1st is Catherine Bach's birthday. That's a big deal around the HazzardNet. While it might be Daisy Duke's day, it's pendragon1980's month because she has been selected as HazzardNet's "Fan of the Month". Pendragon has been a fan of the Dukes of Hazzard since childhood and her love of the best show on television comes through with her writings here at the best website on the internet. A veteran of many years of fanfic writing on this (and less important) sites, pendragon's character Doc Walker (AKA Dr. Chance Walker) is legendary on the HazzardNet. Howdy there - I'm considering a few changes to how we select our Fan of the Month, in order to be fair to the growing audience we have. I've yet to discuss this with Mufn or MaryAnne so nothing is written in stone. Originally, our Fan of the Month was selected based on Forums participation (constructive) and/or material contributions to content, consisting of photos, info, fanfic, what have ya. We sometimes take tenure into consideration, as we've had some members with us since darn near the beginning. Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is standing in front of us. Both of these holidays remind us of how much we have to be thankful for. The moderators of the HazzardNet aren't eligible to receive the Fan of the Month award and since Santa is watching we're not going to break the rules. We are going to bend them a little by saving the best for last and designating the final month of the year as a time to honor our moderators. Meadowmufn, MaryAnne and Brian are like parents to us. Sorry for the dry spell here. We have plenty of HNet members worthy of the fan of the month, but I got busy with a double-dose of "real life" stuff and ended up AWOL from HNet for awhile. So, I'm behind on Home page articles, the newsletter, and this! Thanks for your patience while I sort it all out. I hope to have a Fan o' the Month for Feb announced soon.

Harry, our fan of the month for February 2009, is fighting cancer. The doctors have said that there's nothing more they can do for him, but Harry's not giving up. We've started this thread so folks can offer well-wishes, words of encouragement, thoughts and prayers for him. April 1st is Sadie Hogg Day in Hazzard County so things are always a little confusing around Hazzard on the first day of this month. One thing we're not confused about is how much we love DaneyDuke and that's why she has been selected as HazzardNet's Fan of the Month for April 2010. Daney is one of the few folks still active on the HazzardNet who have been around since it's early years. She's certainly seen a lot since those good old days and she's hung around for many reasons, including the feeling that the folks here are like a second family to her. Long overdue for recognition is TimDuke, who joined HazzardNet in Oct 2001. TimDuke is also a longstanding member of the CGLFC. TimDuke is a man of few words, but of deep sincerity; if he has something to say, he says what he means. He is also passionate about the General Lee and is among the lucky few to own one. HazzardNet's Fan of the Month for August 2011 is CDoherty95! Congrats! There were several good contestants for this month. CDoherty95 was selected due to his perseverance in re-building another "General Lee" bicycle after his original creation was stolen. This shows great dedication to his love of "The Dukes of Hazzard" as well as strong personal character in not giving up. While the Fan of the Month isn't exactly monthly anymore, I just felt compelled to thank Skipper Duke for all the energy he has been providing here on the best website on the internet.
