I bought Waylon Jennings Honky Tonk Heroes CD for song #11 Slow Rollin' Low just so I could own Moonrunners(1975) movie theme. But I came to really love the other tracks of the CD. Has anyone else done this? Bought a CD for a specific track?

Charlie Daniels passed away this morning of a stroke. He was often called the hardest working man in the entertainment business. He has been my favorite singer for decades and I will miss him. I had the opportunity to speak to him three times and it was awesome. The first time I got my picture taken with him. The next time I got it autographed. The third time we talked about patriotism. Two of his songs "What this World Needs is a Few More Rednecks" and "Simple Man" are amongst my all-time favorites. I just met a guy who just retired from being a sound man in Nashville for 35 years and still lives there. He has worked with just about every star I ever loved including Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings and John Schneider. He told me a lot of stories and I'll see him again tomorrow to hear some more. I suppose I shouldn't repeat them though! It sure was cool to hear from someone who has worked with Waylon and Bo!

Well after returning to reality after the holidays...well heard this song on my MP3 player and it made my day a lil better. So I thought I would post it... Love this song and the video...then again I love about every song on the DOH soundtrack. Also heard James Best's "Go Flash Go" as well...makes me smile everytime...puts me in anoth DOH episode. The General Lee, is in my opinion, the best car. Ever. Then again, my opinions are heavily biased since I love everything about The Dukes of Hazzard.

Hey y'all I'm sure I'm not the only one who has found themselves flicking through the tv or radio channels, and hearing the latest song being played. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who's questioned how the song made it to number one. Most of my friends agree with me on this. I'm convinced that music has gone into a downward spiral.
