Hi folks, we're back after an unfortunate incident involving the board being hacked. Please be aware that any posts made after September 15th were lost in the recovery. Thank you for your patience and support.

Folks, we started having performance issues with the server two days ago. I've had to restart the server multiple times. I've been trying to run down the issue and I think I've narrowed it down to the database. I put in a tech support ticket several hours ago because it's not something I can fix on my end at this point. There may be intermittent down time until the issue gets resolved. I receive emails every time the server goes down, so there's no need to email me if HazzardNet is down. Thanks for your patience.

Once you've had a chance to look around the new forums, please leave feedback here. I've already gotten some feedback and am trying some small changes here and there as well as finishing up the customization of the theme. Also, if you find any bugs or issues with color (I already know about the white background on quoted text), please post about that here as well.

I started a new group called JhonandTom a support group for the boys. I need ideals on how to help em.I have photos as well. I met with cooter and we talked for an hour about the show and the pops.He knows I strated a group.He was thrilled that I did! I will upload some pics of cooter sometim in the next few days!

Well, the forums got hacked again. Thanks to Verve Hosting for the quick turnaround on loading the last good database backup. I think we only lost a few hour's worth of posts. I would suggest that all of you change your passwords, just in case. Meadowmufn

My webhost informs me that HazzardNet is being migrated to a brand spankin' new server. (I hope that means faster performance and less issues!) Sometime in the next 48 hours, there might be slight downtime as they transition over.

Folks, several people have been signing up with inappropriate and destructive links in their profiles. To stop this behavior and to protect our membership, I have decided to disable website links in member profiles. I realize this is somewhat of a penalty for those of you who have websites, but it is needed to prevent our membership from getting viruses from these sites and to protect those of our members who are minors from stumbling onto some incredibly disgusting and inappropriate websites. The latest batch of new member profiles had links to sites that were riddled with viruses and trojans. Tactics like these are usually done by outsiders with no interest in sticking …

Just an FYI, I'm in the process of moving inactive forums to Hogg's Heavenly Acres, a read-only section where old forums will be preserved, but can't be replied to. If a forum ends up there and there's a thread in it that you think is worthy of reviving, let me know and I'll move it to another appropriate active forum.

Howdy! HazzardNet is enjoying some great new people as we continue to grow. But with that, every now and then, comes the occassional stray bullet that's out to cause trouble. If y'all see any posts that are obnoxious and inflammatory - don't panic. Most of all - don't react and take the bait. Report it to us via a Pirvate Message or email and we'll take care of it. Without attention and reaction, the disruptive types eventually get bored and wander off, looking for other message boards to annoy. We have updated the forums to new software. We've imported the old forums, but you'll all need to recreate your avatars. There was some sort of glitch with that operation. Sorry for any inconvenience. We hope you enjoy the new functionality! Please let us know if you encounter any problems with the new system.

Starting at noon Eastern, check yer local listings! There's a rundown of the scheduled eps on both the above locations. We're happy to see CMT airing the Dukes during family viewing hours! Even if it's just for a day. Meanwhile, CMT is also airing the Dukes at 1 and 2 am during the weeknights, and they're about to roll into the first season again. I'm having trouble. I can't get into the new posts on the latest posts, New Posts section. When I click it, it takes me to a blank page. I can't see the latest board. I have no problem getting on to any other part of the site! It must be a glitch in the system!
