  2. Alan Hale Jr. (Skipper Jonas Grumby) always had 14-16 chain links in the original Gilligan's Island series 3 seasons 98 episodes 1964-1967, and the last 2 Reunion movies The Castaways On Gilligan's Island (1979, and The Harlem Globetrotters On Gilligan's Island (1981). First movie Rescue From Gilligan's Island (1978) was just regular lines for loops and ropes on the Midway Cap Co. hat. Lancaster Uniform Cap Co. of the original series and last 2 movies was Gold Bullion Wire hand embroidery. The first movie was machine made sewn on patch regular threads. No chains style. His chain link hats never surpassed 16 in count. Some use 20 which is way too many for Alan Hale Jr. and that show. Those ones who use 20 chains is because they do 4 in the loops and 6 in the ropes. American Patrol Cap & Canvas Co. (AP Co./A. P. Co./American Patrol Co. Which made hats using Lancaster templates) Used 20. Lighthouse Uniforms uses 20. Lancaster Brand varied but not that much. 14-16. Benford Yacht Hat varies with 14-16. Alan had 14 sometimes 16. Never past 16.
  3. Aunt Esther:"Who you callin' ugly sucker?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Fred:"I'm callin' you ugly. I could stick yo face in some dough and make gorilla cookies!" ๐Ÿ˜‚
  4. Roger... There was another episode too with Bo and Luke searching caves, the bear roared and they left real fast to the General Lee and Luke waved at the cave like to say "Bye!" ๐Ÿ˜‚
  5. crawdads (does Cousin Alice count as a critter?)
  6. Once again I disagree but I could disagree with Hobie about everything imaginable and would still love him like a cousin. That's how things work in Hazzzard.
  7. farmers
  8. the farm has indoor PLUMBING but jesse wants the blown up outhouse replaced anyways

  10. Equal OPPORTUNITIES law The plot device in 'OFFICER Daisy Duke'. One of the channels here is currently airing 'The Fall Guy'. They're now up to midway through the final season (season 5), and it's quite possible that I never saw these later episodes in the '80s, and if I did it was nearly 40 years ago! Only the first two seasons have been released on DVD, so I'm taking my chance to catch up. At the beginning of the show's run, Colt took assignments from bail bondswoman Samantha "Big Jack" Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug (AKA. Helen Hogan from 'Route 7-11'). For seasons 2 to 4, the bail bondswoman was Terri Michaels played by Markie Post. What I'd forgotten/never knew is that that the bail bondswoman in the final season was Pearl played by Nedra Volz. She only actually appeared in five episodes, but she's mentioned in several others.
  11. MeadowMufn told us about June Foray here.
  12. I don't know why but I heard it's not Danny Cooksey's real voice, cartoon voice actress June Foray did his voice for some reason.
  13. practical
  14. NEDRA volz
  15. Right now I'm eating pizza and watching TDOH - Targets Daisy and Lu Lu. I skip the Boy's Best Friend one. I think it's super goofy and don't like that kid's whiny voice. ( I bet he got beat up a lot in school)

  17. I got my driver's license while living in London, so traffic was nothing new. Luckily, I was mainly driving against the flow to get to and from work before I left. I don't often get into traffic over here, but it did take me over half an hour to do about a mile on my recent trip around Galway City, and that was mid-afternoon!
  18. MIKE MOROFF Played Sam Porter and Jo Jo in Dukes, and was in an episode of The Fall Guy that I watched a couple of days ago.
  19. virtual
  20. Waylon Jennings:"Cooter checked out The Choctaw Indian caves. The Choctaws don't live in them caves no more. But somethin' hairy an' hungry does." ๐Ÿ˜‚
  21. Right now I'm watching Scooby Doo, " Pirates /ahoy!" ansd about to head to Hazzard.....it's what I call it when I go to bed and turn on my DOH DVD and watch it until I start to fall asleep! Remember, it's just now DOHD and make it a good one! Happy DOHD fellow Hazzardites!!
  22. reality
  23. LOOSE- a lot of people in Hazzard lived a " LOOSE" carefree life! I've heard of corn fritters, but don't think I've ever eaten one. That was a new one on me!
  24. That's good but on multiple lane highways if there is any room between you and the car ahead of you, you are constantly being cut off and you can't brake because the person behind you is usually right on your bumper. I don't know how people who drive in city rush hour traffic daily keep their sanity. My nephew drives in DC traffic daily and I asked him if he ever gets used to it and he said "not really!"
  25. boss acted like he was KING of hazzard
  26. sad
  27. Lose
  28. Nancy JERIS played the doctor in 'Brotherly Love' Chinese restaurants over here quite often offer fruit fritters (pineapple or maybe banana) as their only desserts. I've heard of corn fritters, but don't think I've ever eaten one.
