Wh Sepsis- ena serious condition resulting from the presence of harmful microorganisms in the blood or other tissues and the body’s response to their presence, potentially leading to the malfunctioning of various organs, shock, and death. someone gets sepsis, it is a life-threatening condition caused by the body's extreme response to an infection. Symptoms may include fast breathing, fever, confusion, severe pain, and discolored skin. If not treated quickly, sepsis can lead to septic shock, organ failure, or death. Treatment for sepsis requires immediate hospitalization, where patients typically receive intravenous (IV) antibiotics and may need to be placed in the intensive care unit (ICU) for close monitoring and specialized care. He had pneumonia, which led to Sepsis and that's what he died of.

A few modern country songs are creeping onto the playlist of the mainly pop/rock radio station I listen to here in Ireland. Maybe Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" album got people looking for more traditional country artists. Morgan Wallen's "I'm the Problem" has been popular, and I see he's also got a duet with the artist below. The Smoky Mountains of Tennessee are mentioned in this song. Maybe if Ella had introduced her boyfriend to Cooter's Place in Pigeon Forge, he might've stayed! Ella Langley - Choosin' Texas There's also a longer version here.

From cootersplace.com: Our Smoky Mountain journey began in Gatlinburg back in 2002, where so many wonderful memories were made through the years. Later, we brought Cooter’s to nearby Pigeon Forge and continued building something very special with all of you. Now, after nearly a quarter century in the Smokies, we are preparing for our final season there. For the rest of this season, we’re planning a wonderful lineup of events, celebrations, reunions, stories, music, laughter, and memories with the people who helped make The Dukes of Hazzard such a lasting part of American pop culture. We are especially excited to welcome Catherine Bach, Tom Wopat, Byron Cherry, and Jeff Altman during this closing season, along with the wonderful staff here at Cooter’s who have loved and cared for our visitors through the years like family.

Hobie finally sees his chance and he floors it and takes a big swig of his special shine! He's starting to feel it but that's ok....he's passed Meadow, Roger and somebody that....looked like Hoss?? Anyway, he isn't going to let Garrett's surprise move take him out of it! Hobie puts the heel to the steel and passes everybody....but...he's feeling it and starts coughing....and ....his allergies start acting up. He has just passed Garrett ( he owed the guy one for beating him last year! ) He doesn't know how much longer he can hold on to the lead, now that he's got it. ......

Watching the vehicles behind begin to edge and fight one another, Garrett eyes the open road ahead of him. Though knows anything can happen at any time...

I missed that, but that is chilling. Probably something everyone should consider about life.

Roger thanks. 😢😭💔 -
Jesse starts to gain ground on the pack and gets close enough to see Meadowmufn and Hoss ahead of him. He gets excited that he might not finish last after all. But this is the Mooonshine 400. It's not like any other race in the world. Here it is possible to be an old man riding an old lady's Yamaha dirt bike that is normally used to deliver mail and win after a disastrous start. Jesse knew that and his confidence started growing. If a guy pulling a yacht could do this well, so could he. "Only in Hazzard!" he laughed to himself and twisted the throttle as far as it would go.

I get e-mails from Cooter's and got a notice today that Pigeon Forge is closing. Nashville and Luray will remain open. Maybe Hoss can post a link.

hazzard county is wilder than any ZOO i've ever seen

Shocking. Absolutely shocking.
-
Definitely a shocker. So sad to hear that his wife, kids and family have lost him and that millions of his fans will never see him race again. ABC News showed a snippet of his interview after his last race where he said each win was special because you never know when it will be your last. Chilling.
-
Keeping his attention on the race, Garrett refuses to fall into everyone's competitive talk and pushes the pedal down farther and a hint of a smile crosses his face at feeling the great power of the engine. Passing Jesse, he gives him a slight respectful nod, before speeding up front. (Sorry y'all I've been away from my computer a bit.)

Kyle Busch, two time Cup champ, dies at age 41 | NASCAR OK y'all...I'll be real honest here, but I have never been a Kyle Busch fan. But this really stinks and hurts. So hard to believe that he's gone. I've been in disbelief since I heard about his passing. Despite how I or anyone felt about him, he did have a personality that seemed like he'd be here forever. I know I saw a couple of weeks ago that he had called for medical assistance after the May 10th race. I read last night it was for sinus problems. Didn't think much of it until I saw of his passing yesterday. I really don't know what to say about all of this. Just that it's hard to believe and to accept. So sad for his family, fans, NASCAR...

Thanks HossC. I can never get videos to show up like this with the thumb nail picture of it.
