I mentioned Morgan Wallen's "I'm the problem" above. Here's a duet he did with Post Malone that's still getting regular plays on the radio over here. "I Ain't Coming Back" starts with the line "I'm a redneck, 'Cause I drink beer and I dip Skoal", and the chorus starts with a variation of "But the night I said, "I'm leavin'", I turned into Richard Petty". Both kinda remind me of HNet in a good way.

I assume you're using your phone to post these. If it's Android and works the same way as mine, follow these steps: 1. Tap the white "Share" arrow under the video. On my phone this brings up a list of places to share the video, e.g. WhatsApp, Messages, Bluetooth etc. 2. Drag this list to the left and my last icon is an ellipsis (three dots) with the word "More" under it. 3. Tap "More" and I then get an option to "Copy URL". Tap this to copy the full youtube.com address rather than the youtu.be address that you normally get. 4. On HazzardNet, paste it into your post and hopefully the video will appear rather than the link. If you're on a regular computer, just copy/paste the full URL from the address bar. NB. Some videos, such as the Formula 1 videos that I post, cannot be embedded, so you'll still have to post them as a link.

Season 4 Opie the Birdman. Andy:"Alright let's have it. You know what I'm talkin' about." (Takes Opie's slingshot away.) "You remember me tellin' you to be careful with this thing?" Opie:"I'm sorry Pa." Andy:"That won't bring that bird back to life. Bein' sorry is not the magic word that makes everything right again." (Raises window.) "You hear that? That's those young birds chirpin' for their mama that's never comin' back. Now, you just listen to that for awhile."

Uncle Jesse's hatching a sneaky Duke plan. 😂

For the first time in the race Jesse takes the lead. And the timing couldn't have been better. Emma made it down from Iron Mountain on her back up dirt bike just in time to stop at the intersection to watch the race. And what a sight it was to see her man in the lead on her very own postal dirt bike. She caught the corner of Jesse's eye and distracted him. He looked at her with a big smile and gave her a thumbs up and she blew him a kiss. It was such a distraction that he didn't notice a big rock. He hit it and it threw his bike off to the side and Skipper passed him with the Minnow in tow. Jesse's Yamaha then ran into the dirt where it hit another rock with such force that it catapulted him and the bike into the air and two seconds later, right into the Minnow. Lucky for him and the Yamaha they both landed on the pile of life jackets unharmed but clearly out of the race...... .......or were they? It would be unwise to ever count out crafty and wise Jesse Duke.

Hobie snaps out of an alcohol induced snooze and sees Uncle Jesse passing him but he is still on Jesse's rear bumper and about to pass him! Hobie has 2 more jugs of shine to drink AND to put into the Moonshine Mauler's tank.......this town drunk means business! ( He's looking around for Garrett.....that guy is sneaky and beat everybody last years....so....!!!)

I only read about that afterwards. As an F1 fan, the one I remember vividly is the crash that killed former triple World Champion Ayrton Senna in 1994. He was 34. It's probably about time I watched the 'Senna' movie documentary again just to remind myself how great he was.

George Russell put his Mercedes on pole for both the sprint and feature F1 races in Montreal this weekend. He converted his sprint pole to a win (highlights here), but the feature race worked out differently. Arvid Lindblad's car wouldn't go into gear on the grid, so there were a total of three formation laps while his car was recovered to the pits. There were predictions of rain, so McLaren started both of their cars on intermediate (grooved) tires despite their drivers questioning the move. Lando Norris' intermediate tires allowed him to jump to the front at the start, but he soon came in to swap them, as did team mate Oscar Piastri. With the McLaren's out of the way, George and team mate Kimi Antonelli put on great show leap-frogging each other every few laps. Sadly, before half distance, George had to retire when his car broke. It was a day to forget for McLaren. After making the wrong tire choice at the start, Lando had to retire with a broken gearbox and Oscar got a 10-second penalty for hitting Alex Albon and putting him out of the race. At the end it was Kimi who took his fourth win in a row. Lewis Hamilton finally seemed to be happy with his Ferrari, and re-passed Max Verstappen toward the end. They finished second and third. Lewis' team mate Charles Leclerc was the only other driver to finish on the lead lap. There race highlights are here. Kimi now has a 43-point lead over George, which is nearly two race wins. The next race is in two weeks at the famous Monaco circuit.

Skipper sees Uncle Jesse coming. "Hi Jesse!" (Waves at him.) "Good race ain't it?"

Before you know it Jesse had caught up with the pack and was in the thick of everything. Being on a dirt bike certainly had its advantages because he was able to use the bike's maneuverability and his skill to weave between everybody and take advantage of all the chaos. And chaos it was indeed. The lead changes continued on a regular basis but the best place Jesse had been in was third. But then he accidently hit neutral when shifting from 5th to 6th after rounding a curve and that put him back to 5th in this tight race. Still, at this point it seemed like just about anybody had a chance to win. He was just happy to be in the thick of things. But he wasn't here to finish in anything but first. A new determination overtook him and he let out a rebel yell and turned the throttle as far as it would go again. The front wheel went off the ground again. He felt like a young man racing a half century ago. He felt like nothing could stop him now as he approached Skipper and prepared to pass on his starboard side.

Still hard to believe. Reminds me of how shocking Dale's death was. Different manner of death of course but the shock value is just as high.

Skipper is coming up on everyone fast. He's determined to win this thing. If he wins, the prize money will help him buy his new boat MINNOW II. He holds his 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 steady as he gains ground on everyone else. "Hello Garrett, Jesse, Hobie" he yells as he passes them up.

Hobie takes another sip of shine ( you never waste a sip!) LOL! , and he passes everybody with his specially formulated super charged shine .....everybody except Meadow and Daisy ( He's too busy looking at them.....!! ) and then he sees he's going to have to really get it in gear because Garrett and Roger have just about passed him! ( That's when Hobie realizes he should've paid more attention to those two in the locker room before the race.....they were obviously making plans and conspiring to beat him! )

Y'all beat me again with reporting NASCAR news. But I did find this video:
-
Feeling the freedom of no one in view, Garrett allows his car to slow a bit to give the powerful engine a rest a bit while resting back into his leather seat. He finally glances into his rear view mirror and his heart skips a beat as he sees Jesse's vehicle come across the curve and into view. Sitting up in his seat he presses the accelerator down forcefully the car jolts forward with increase speed. "Eat my dirt, Jesse," he says aloud with a confident smile.
