About This Club

Come on in, pull up a chair y’all. The Boars Nest is now digital, come on in and join the fun!

What's new in this club

  1. Justin C joined the club
  2. I agree 100% Tom.
  3. The original first season is a definite standout favourite to me, it made Hazzard feel more depth in a sense, mind you ain’t nothing wrong with the rest of the series. But backlot shoots don’t compare to Covington in my books.
  4. I think most of it was filmed during the summer but some were filmed in the winter.
  5. When I was little I never realized they were different filming locations apart from the Boar's Nest. I always kinda thought it just took place during fall and the rest was always during summer.
  6. Road Pirate joined the club
  7. Did you ever notice that the earlier episodes seemed to always be on overcast days but when they went to Ca. EVERY day was sunny....no rain......you ever wonder how their crops grew!!???
  8. I loved the earliest episodes the best when Rosco was still a little serious, but you can't help but love the goofball he was later, too.
  9. That’s a big 10-4, I’ll always watch out for you cousin. Amen and I’ve started going through a rewatch with the pilot and then going through the early days of Hazzard County, man those first episodes truly stand out. Makes me wonder what we’d have had if the show had stayed in Covington and not moved to Burbank. Hmmm….
  10. Well, you guys know Friday night was when TDOH came on TV and every Friday is DOHD ( Dukes Of Hazzard Day) , an international holiday! Well, as Hobie, I'm going to do my part celebrating, by buying some Jack Daniels and pretending it's some of Jesse's Finest! Then I'll come back here to the house and watch several episodes, while imbibing! ( wooo! Imbibing !! That's a big word! .....I'm glad I've got my college boy learning or I'd never even know what that word means! LOL! ) ......When I use more the 2 syllables a word, I'm tripping in tall cotton, so you guys watch out for me!
