  1. I wonder that too- the building is clearly very old, so I figure he moved the business to there sometime around Swamp Molly.
  2. There is that room upstairs in Cooter's garage- kinda like an apartment if you like the crate and tire decor.
  3. I like this! Will be following the progress! Scooter
  4. By most people's standards, there are a LOT of bad episodes, but I'd still watch just about any of them any time. "A bad day in Hazzard's better than a good day at work." M
  5. I've been building models (at work) and listening to this guy's youtube channel videos through earphones. Even though I'm usually not seeing the 'visual' portion because my phone is in my pocket, I'm learning a lot from him. In between its modern country stations on Iheart Radio.
  6. This could be the Hazzard event of the year, so make sure to post pics for those of us who can't be there!
  7. Hey Roger- a little more traffic in the ol town square lately, huh? M
  8. I'm with Roger- 'Strange Visitor' is really hard to watch. That and 'Robot P Coltrane'. Although I'll admit I've thought of making a model of the robot. M
  9. I agree roger this is certainly a cozy place. It's probably better for me there isn't more activity here or is spend a lot more time on it when I should be working!
  10. Or somebody tricked a local kid into whitewashing the whole building.
  11. I'd like to see more activity here too- I wasn't around when it was super busy, but it does seem that it is slower than it used to be even from a couple years ago. I wish we could all get together in one room for a weekend and talk Dukes stuff. I kind live in Hazzard in my mind most days! So for the sake of discussion, what would you like to talk about? Mark
  12. We're keepin the lights on over here at the garage! Untitled by mommydawn2000, on Flickr
  13. The 'Rhuebottoms' set of buildings is coming along- almost ready to start painting. I think this will add some much needed 'context' to Cooter's garage and help to create that 'small town' setting. Untitled by mommydawn2000, on Flickr
  14. Since enough is never enough, I'm moving on down the road and creating the buildings directly adjacent to the garage- Rhuebottoms General Store and O'Connor's Paint Supply. Unlike the garage set, these buildings were just facades with very little depth. In fact, O'Connor's Paint Supply was just a front wall attached on one side to a telephone pole type post for stability. For my model, I'm treating the buildings as 'real' and completing the backs- we saw the back door of Rhuebottoms at least once (using a generic metal shed wall someplace on the Warner lot), so I'll match that. We did see the inside of Rhuebottoms store a couple times (as well as the store room where Boss was stashing stolen fur coats), but I won't be adding interior details like I did with the garage. These buildings are just to add 'atmosphere' next to the garage and provide additional locations for some more model cars, trucks, and my Rhuebottoms delivery van. I'm using HossC's excellent drawings as my starting point! Untitled by mommydawn2000, on Flickr blueline by mommydawn2000, on Flickr
