  1. (to CB) I guess that answers your queston, Sheriff. Now can I rip up this ticket... legally? (to Lori) You just can't admit when you deserve a ticket for doin' something wrong, can you?
  2. Hey Y'all! Good question, Roger... how big is it? I still can't get over how cool it looks. If I tried my hand at something like that it would probably turn into a royal mess! It looks great! General Grant
  3. Hello, North! If you'd like to change it to Friday or Saturday that would be fine. Otherwise another option is to make it earlier in the day. I don't like staying up late. I usually go to bed as soon as the sun goes down... or as late as 9:00 pm CST. So, earlier in the day is fine, also. It is up to you what you want to do. General Grant
  4. Congratulations, Redneck girl 01!

  5. I most certainly did NOT bother the sheriff. You cut that out, Lori... blamin' me for your rudeness... or I'll tell the sheriff it was you who did the litterin'! (smirks, and looks proud)
  6. (looks at ticket, grins and talks to the sheriff over the CB) Hey Sheriff, I dont' suppose you'd like to write another one of them tickets for litterin', would ya? If I was to tell you who littered, would you let me off the hook for this ticket? (looks at Lori and grins) That is for gettin' me a ticket! General Grant
  7. Hello Y'all! WOW! Those pictures looked Great! How long did that take you? If I tried to do something like that, it would take me Forever! It looks absolutely wonderful! General Grant
  8. Hey North! Did you want to suggest a time, or did you want to keep the time the same? General Grant
  9. Hey Y'all! I haven't been in the chat room for quite a while, but does anyone want to continue on with the Weekly Community Chat night? We can all decide on a day and time, if you'd like... I believe that we had it Sunday at 7CST (8EST) P.M. Any other suggestions, or does everyone like that? Hope to see y 'all sometime and I hope that I remember! General Grant
  10. Poor Ol' Lori... she gets so picked on around here.... I think I'll join in Come on, Sheriff... write her a Big Ol' Ticket! I'm going to enjoy watching this! Lets see ya get out of this one, Lori!
  11. Welcome, Kurt Duke! I hope that you enjoy your stay, and you have a fun time here. Hopefully you stick around for awhile! Again, enjoy your stay, and welcome to Hazzard. You be careful, things do get crazy around here, just like in the series!! General Grant
  12. Welcome, Boss Hogg 2! You two keep it up... Lori needs to be kept in line! (Khee!) It sounds like you two must really have a lot of fun watchin' the Dukes! I hope you decide to stick around awhile! And Boss Hogg 2, you keep ol' Lori in line, she needs it! General Grant
  13. Hey Meadowmufn! Okay, I wasn't sure if you were asking what features would be nice to have on this site, or more about what forums (and related items) we'd want. But, I have a suggestion. I thought that the "Number of Users Chatting" feature was kind of nice. I hope that I made some sense... Anyway, thank you for givin' us all a chance to voice our thoughts! General Grant
  14. Very Good Comparison, Roger! I have never thought of it that way, about the step-parent comparison! Brilliant comparison! Anyway, as bad as I did feel for Coy and Vance, and as much as I do think they deserve our respect and all, I'll be the first to admit that I was glad when Bo and Luke did decide to come back. It would have been nice if they could have given Coy and Vance a little nicer "send off" though. It was almost like, Bo and Luke leave, Coy and Vance come and put their lives aside to help the Dukes, Coy and Vance leave abruptly because Hazzard isn't big enough for the four cousins even for one show. (not to sound rude there...) It would have been nice if Coy and Vance at least came back on occasion, just so it didn't seem like we abandoned them. Anyway, thanks y'all for the opinions. General Grant
  15. Okay Y'all, here goes... I do agree with Lori that Coy and Vance are still Dukes. We should give them a fair shot, afterall, Dukes don't fight Dukes. If it weren't for Coy and Vance coming in, Bo and Luke would be unhappy because they would not have been given the chance to fulfill their life long dream of joining the Nascar circuit. I think we owe it to Coy and Vance the same respect we give to Bo and Luke. Sure, it just isn't the same as having Bo and Luke, but even Uncle Jesse (who raised Bo and Luke from toddlers) accepted their leaving and Coy and Vance's temporary takeover of Hazzard. In a different light... Tom and John (if I am right on this) walked out on the "Dukes project" because of a contract argument and miscommunications, right? Well, if it weren't for Byron and Chris, the Dukes probably would not have lasted those extra three seasons to make seven, all in all. I think we owe Chris and Byron a huge thank you for that. They were put in a bad situation. It should have been handled better by the writers/creators of the Dukes to give those two their own characters and personalities to follow. But, they did the best with what they had and that is all anyone can do. I actually think they did pretty good for the parts they had to play and the situation they were put in. Very good, LukasKevinDuke. I really like that perspective you put on this whole thing! Anyways, to answer the original question. I think that Coy had more of a beliveable personality, and that Byron was a better actor. I think that is it for now. Hope to hear some more opinions about all this! General Grant
  16. Congratulations, Redneck girl 01! It's exciting to reach that milestone!

  17. Thanks, Redneck girl 01! I'm doing great, how about yourself?

  18. Happy Father's Day! Sorry Y'all, I'm late AGAIN! Anyway, I hope that it was special to all the fathers on here as well as all the fathers of the members on here. Not really any traditions here. How about everyone else? General Grant
  19. Hey Y'all! I thought it seemed quiet on here, that must be why... Red Neck girl 01 wasn't able to come on here!! No, I 'm just teasing you! It is nice to have you back on here. WOW! 100 horses is a pretty big herd! How do you ever keep them all in-line?! Usually mine all decide to misbehave at once and then the barn is chaotic! Ahhhh! Your welcome! I am glad that I could help someone! Gee, I feel smart now! (khee!) Oh, I dont' know if I have fun chasing them... it is fun in the pasture for maybe five or ten minutes. But when they get loose and go galavanting all over the neighbor's hay field, the farmers alfalfa crop, and down to visit their little horsey friends, it isn't my idea of a good time! Oh, well, they do look good when they are running wild, though and I just love the mischevious look in thier eyes when they do that! Yes, 34 is a good ol' age. Maybe Lori knows what that would be in human years... Hey Lori, what's that in human years?! Take it from me... Magoo is funny looking!! Well, when I said Lori knows about him.... I was describing Magoo to her one time and she just could not picture what he looked like (and I am sure it is hard to picture!!) so I sent her a picture and got a letter written back about how gorgeous he is (cough, cough!!) and how I shouldn't say such mean things about such a beautiful horse! That's about right, ain't it Lori? Any way, for the sake of keeping this post somewhat short, I think Magoo is a sore sight, and Lori thinks he's just a sight to behold! I don't take my horses to anyshows, they are all older (as you read before!) and I'm not sure the judges could handle them! They have some kind of attitudes! I'm thinking if Frankie took a disliking to one of the judges, he'd probably give them a big ol' push as they walked by! I'd love to see him enter a conformation class, though. I always joke because he has these big, knoby knees. I can just see some judge docking him for "knobby Knees" and Frankie looking insulted and pushing the judge over! (Okay, maybe that isn't funny, but if you knew him and his personality, it would be hilarious!!) It'd be more interesting than a movie !! I don't know what my favorite breed would be... I guess I'm looking more at personality. They all have their good and bad qualities. (except maybe Magoo!) What is your favorite breed, everyone?! Talk to you all soon! General Grant
  20. Hey Y'all! Sorry, I don't know anything about Plastic Canvas, Quilting, or Embroidering... but I do own horses! We own five of them. (sometimes that isn't a good thing, suprisingly... like when you go out to feed them and they attack you... or they all get out and take off!) Anyway here goes the list -Cherokee: we thought she was an "older breed of morgan" but it turns out she's some wierd combonation, saddlebred/appaloosa, I think. But, she looks black... she must be about 34 by now, maybe older. -Magoo: (Lori knows about this one... he is so ugly!) He is about 23, appaloosa, real fat, short stubby legs, not much mane or tail, and red eyes! Frankie (Or Franklin): 23 big ol' Paint Quarter Horse, just about the sweetest guy you'd ever want to ride! Boomer: 15 year old miniature, "cremello" is on his temporary papers. Basically he is really light brown with a white mane and tail. This guy has SPUNK and major ATTITUDE! He bosses the other horses around when he's 1/3 of their size! Champ: 34?? or older Pony of the Americas (paint quarterpony) nice horse! He is also a nice guy, but he's a "prankster" in our barn! General Grant
  21. Good question, CRMLHT. I was wondering that myself! Hey, Roger, how is the map going???? Oh, and congratulations, CRMLHT on your first post! Welcome to Hazzard county! Hope you enjoy your stay! General Grant
  22. Hi Noth! I'm glad that you are feeling better about your job. I am certain that you will find a job soon that will be better suited to your needs, and that will make you happy in the long run. I'm sure that the only reason that an inexperienced person got the job was money, they are probably cheaper to hire. Don't feel insulted about that at all. If you wanted out of that job so bad, I am sure that you'll look back at this as a relief and wonder how you lived life just dwelling on that job. I have a relative going through the "hate work dwell on it 24/7" phase. I'm trying to talk her into finding a job that is better suited to her. It is hard watching someone you care about go through that. At the time you probably didn't even realize that you dwelled on it that much, but looking back you are probably starting to realize how much that job ruled you. I know things will be tough financially for a while, but I am sure you are much happier without a job you hate hanging over your head, right? Just don't jump back into another job, seek out all of your options, and find one that will make you happy, and never sacrifice your morals or happiness for the sake of money!! Anyway, I am so happy to hear that you are getting back from that shock (I am sure it was a BIG one, too!) and that you are feeling better. Hope to hear even better news soon! General Grant
  23. WHEW!!! That is certainly good to hear. I just hate when I get all worked up and don't even know what I am worked up about. I'll have to enter that one into my personal book, "Computers for Dummies...volume 146"!!! I thought maybe if you were even on a site with a spammer, you would get the boot! That is good to hear that isn't so! Thank you, Lori for explaining that one! General Grant Who would want to spam this site anyway...they must think just because we are country folk we don't know what a spammer is...
  24. That is very good to hear that you cuffed and stuffed them! Still, what exactly is a spammer and is it harmful to me becuase I am on this site? General Grant
  25. Hey Roger! I just read that in another post, hopefully we don't get anymore of that around here! I still liked your post about the person not being a duke fan because of where they posted their comments! That should be included on the list of "Uncle Jesse Quotes"!!! Anyway, I'm glad it is taken care of. General Grant
