February 25, 20197 yr Do you guys remember the crooked sheriff in Cool Hands Bo and Luke? Cashius Claiborne I think? It seems he was in the original movie, Cool Hands Luke and played a similar part in this TDOH episode. I saw where he died at 93, but can't get the article to copy/paste for some reason. I think he was in one or two other DOH episodes, if I'm not mistaken....
February 25, 20197 yr Morgan Woodward also appeared as Dempsey in 'Mason Dixon's Girls'. The story of his death is covered on many sites - I randomly picked MSN.
February 26, 20197 yr It's always sad to see another one fall even if he wasn't a big part of the show. 93...can't complain about that. Thanks for telling us.
February 28, 20197 yr I watched Cool Hand Luke the night before he died. He was one of my favorite character actors.
