January 12, 201511 yr I just saw the latest Duck Dynasty. Willie has opened a restaurant and his signature sandwich is called The Boss Hogg. (I'm not sure if he spells it with 2 Gs). He said he named it that because he wants to get back to his roots. Apparently that means that he used to be called Boss Hogg and misses the nickname. I'm not exactly sure if that's what he meant by the roots comment but I am exactly sure that anything with a Dukes of Hazzard reference to it in anyway puts a smile on this old redneck's face!
January 14, 201511 yr I've seen Boss Hogg's sandwhich and it would be popular in a restaurant! Remember? Waylon said he'd shoot it first to make sure it was dead! ( I THINK it was in ...can't remember .....the one where the Jones brothers robbed the town with their sister Alabama...???)
January 15, 201511 yr Author I can't remember what the sandwich looked like in that episode but Willie's main ingredient is bologna. His wife and 2 sisters-in-law made fun of it until they tried it. (Makes me think of the green eggs and ham story)
January 15, 201511 yr It was a big long bun kind of like a Submarine sandwhich and had several kinds of meat and cheese on it, if I remember right!
January 16, 201511 yr I've seen Boss Hogg's sandwhich and it would be popular in a restaurant! Remember? Waylon said he'd shoot it first to make sure it was dead! ( I THINK it was in ...can't remember .....the one where the Jones brothers robbed the town with their sister Alabama...???)That 'shine doesn't seem to affect your memory, Hobie. Here's Boss and his sandwich in 'The Law and Jesse Duke' (the episode with Alabama Jones).
January 19, 201511 yr I'm hungry now..You could stop by that Old Grits mill that Boss's nephew bought....!!
