"Ca...can't...he...help it..."

Bo stuttered out gently, shaking his head a little.

"Mis...missed you so..so...much..."

Luke held him close. "Missed you...miss...you so much."

Bo could only nod as he continued to just share a tight hold with his brother, trembling slightly, unable to believe that today was the day Luke would come home.

"Y-you...b-best drive..." said Luke softly, attempting a joke.

Bo choked on a half laugh, half sob...just that one line sounded so much like the brother he knew.

He hugged Bo close just a little bit longer before forcing himself to let go.

Bo swallowed, sniffing gently as he pulled back too, wiping his cheeks and nose on his hankie.

"Sorry....know you cant stand seein grown men cry..."

Luke shook his head. Right now, it didn't matter. He had done enough crying for everyone lately.

Bo sighed and sank back to sit on the bed again

"Your really comin home?"

"If...if you'll have me..." he said softly. He knew Bo would never refuse him, but even he himself knew that he still was not 100%- and he knew that was what Bo longed for.

"Of course i'll have ya! Aint even up to me, the door's always open t'ya...its yer home..."

He said softly.

Luke nodded, sniffing a little. He just hoped that Bo wouldn't regret taking him back.

"Its gonna be so great t'have ya back on the farm cousin...really really is..."

Bo said softly, seeing the doubt still playing in Luke's eyes and he knew that it wasn't because he didn't really wanna come home, it was whether or not he'd be able to fit right back in.

Luke nodded. "Be nice to sleep in my own bed again..." He wasn't sure if it really would be nice or not, but he knew Bo was trying to be positive for his sake; he would then try and be positive for Bo's.

Bo smirked, wriggling his eyebrows.

"That is if ya can get used t'my snoring again right?"

"Right," answered Luke giving him a warm smile.

Sara returned just then with the papers on a clip board, handing them to Luke to sign.

"Just sign where i've indicated Luke then your free to go home..."

Luke bit his lip looking tearily at the papers, hoping he wasn't making yet another mistake. With a trembling hand, he signed his name: Lukas K Duke.

Sara smiled and gave his shoulder a friendly squeeze when he'd done it, taking the papers back from him before giving him a card.

"This is my number...if you need me, or you just need to talk, call that and we'll talk anytime. I'll come round a couple of times a week to check on how things are going for a while, make sure your settling back in ok.."

Luke swallowed hard, his heart pounding so loud he was sure Bo and Sara could hear it. "Thank you."

Sara nodded, extending her hand to him for a handshake.

"Its been a real pleasure gettin' t'know you Luke...I hope everything goes well at home, I really do.."

Luke shook her hand warmly letting it linger in her grasp a little longer than necessary. "Thanks again," he said softly.

"No problem Luke...i'll see you soon. You take care too Bo.."

Bo nodded with a smile, shaking her hand as well.

"I will...thank you so much for everything you've done for him..."

Sara nodded back with a smile of her own, "No Problem, see you round..."

With that, she left the room to go file the paperwork, a deep feeling of satsifaction at helping yet another person regain a normal life but also sadness that she would no longer get to be with him as much as she had been.

Luke swallowed looking up at Bo. "Guess..I can go now..."

Bo nodded with a grin that he couldn't force off his face. Extending a hand to Luke, having packed up what little stuff he had with him, and heading out the hospital with him.
