Bo didn't say a word, he wasn't gonna stand there and try and influence Luke's decision to come home. It truly was case of Bo just wanting Luke to be happy in what he was doing...if Luke had said he needed to travel over the other side of the world and stay there to be happy Bo would have let him...he's miss him, pine for him a little...but as long as Luke was happy it didn't matter.

Luke looked at Bo again. "I miss you," he said again, not really knowing what to do, his eyes full of the conflict in his heart.

"I know...I miss you too cousin..." He replied back gently.

Luke's lips quivered. Lowering his head he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

Bo could sense that Luke was getting more agitated trying to make a decision. Coughing a little, he rubbed his throat.

"I'm gonna be right back ok...I need to go get a drink,..you want anything?"

Luke shook his head. "No...thanks..."

Bo nodded and with another friendly pat to Luke's shoulder, quietly left the room to go and get a drink and to give Luke some space and thinking time. At least this time he was thinking about coming back, that if anything reignited Bo's hope that it wouldn't be long before he was back with him.

Luke sat still on his chair staring at the floor as if the tiles would stand up and walk. His mind was racing. He couldn't sort out what to do. So his body started panicking, his hands trembling, his mind screaming at him to do something...anything.

Sara stayed where she was and just watched him a minute, seeing the panic starting to rise. Still though she stayed where she was, sitting opposite him. Quietly though, she said in her ever patient and gentle manner.

"Luke...look at me...stop panicking..."

Every so slowly, Luke raised his crystal blue eyes to her, fear evident in them.

Sara looked straight back at him, directly into his eyes. There was nothing but confidence and support there as she spoke to him directly.

"You've got no reason to be panicking Luke...you dont have to make this decision right here, right now. You need time to think about it...In all honesty, you dont need me anymore...you question yourself and what moves your going to take next yourself...you had that thinking capability before you came in here, and it isn't lost just because you haven't used it in a while...its in you, the guy you were before is still there...let him come forward and take charge of what's best for you now...he's the only guy you need to listen to.."

"Wh-what if I...m-mess up...?" he whimpered softly.

"If you mess up, you mess up...so what? It's human nature, its how things happen sometimes. No one is perfect, no one has ever not made a mistake in their lives...don't worry about getting things wrong, just go through life as you usually would and if you make a mistake, just either forget about it or re try something a different way...you can't stop mistakes Luke, your only human."

She said softly, reaching out a reassuring hand and putting it on his knee.

Luke looked over at her as she touched his knee, his voice hallow. "I'll miss you..."

Sara chuckled, shaking her head

"I'm not dropping off the face of the planet Luke...you'll have my number, you can call me when you need to...i'll come out and check on you once in a while...we could even arrange to meet as friends sometimes..."

Luke looked at her. "We could?"

"Well yeah course...once your out of here its not really patient and doctor anymore though anythin you tell me would still be confidential and the like...but yeah we could go out for a drink or something..."

Sara said in return with a smile and a nod.

Luke bit his lip. "Th-then I wanna try...goin' home," he said softly.

Sara smiled and now got up, crossing over to him and hugging him gently.

"I know ya do...you've been wanting to for a long time...I was just waiting for you to voice your concerns...the paperworks been done for a while now...all it needs is your signature..."

Luke hugged her softly. He was still scared to death, but he supposed it was a start. He knew Sara wouldn't release him if he wasn't ready, whether he felt ready himself or not.

Sara smiled as she rubbed his back softly.

"I know you can do this...don't be frightened...your going home to be with your family again...and as much as I know your doing this to support them...let them support you too..."

Luke nodded a little. He would try, at the very least.

Sara smiled and pulled back, looking him in the eyes as she so often did.

"You've made great progress here Luke...and most of it has been down to you when i've just sat here listening...I have complete faith in you that you can go back and live like you wanna..."

Luke looked at her biting his lip, his blue eyes shining with moisture. "I'm really gonna...miss seein' you all the time...I...I..." Luke Duke was not normally one to fumble with words around girls. Both he and Bo had a gift when it came to communicating with the opposite sex. Still, Sara was unlike any girl Luke had ever met.

Sara giggled a little, shaking her head.

"M'sure once you get back to yer home and the girls start swarmin' in to comfort the invalid i'm sure you'l forget all about me.."
