LoriDavenport Posted January 13, 2008 Report Share Posted January 13, 2008 Id like for this to be for cued members only please: LoriDavenport, BoJamesDuke Rebecca Drutton, Judge Drutton's daugther, sat on her front porch in the early morning light. She saw the fog roll across the fields and looked down to the book she was reading. She sighed heavily as Judge Drutton stepped out on the porch in his suit,"Daddy's leaving now darlin' I'll be back later...be good." Rebecca smiled as he patted the top of her head. She turned her smile into a frown and shook her head. See, the thing with Rebecca and her father was everytime Rebecca had something special with a guy her father would run them off or send them to jail. Rebecca was an attractive girl too, long flowing chocolate brown hair with the dark eyes to boot. She had that striking figure that would make a man turn around in an instance, which that usually got them thrown behind bars. Rebecca stood up and straightened her dress out, she walked to her car and got in thinking. As the sun was still rising the boys had already stirred and awoken from their sleep. They had ate their vittles and was ready for the day to begin. They had the chores finished up as Jesse had the fencing materials ready for them. They gave each other a gruesome look and trudged over to him. Jesse smiled to them and spoke,"Boys...I need you to go to town to get me some more fencing.." The boys sighed with relief and nodded smiling. They sprinted off to the General and climbed in. Bo started it up and spun around spitting gravels and dirt everywhere.... BoJamesDuke Posted January 13, 2008 Report Share Posted January 13, 2008 Bo sat back in the seat as he drove, taking the roads a little slower so that they wouldn't get back to work so fast. He loved Jesse and he loved the farm but there were times he just wanted to get away and do things for himself with Luke more. He glanced over at his older cousin, the responsible one, who too looked relieved that they had just gotten off work too. LoriDavenport Posted January 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 13, 2008 After much deliberating about where she could go, Rebecca finally decided to head into town to talk with her friends. Smiling a little, she walked to her car and got in, starting up the engine with a healthy roar and pulling out the driveway and onto the dusty back road. She sighed softly to herself, her mind drifitng a little as she thought of her loveless relationships, all thanks to an overprotective father. She loved him dearly, she really did and love that he looked out for her so well...but she wanted a relationship. So absorbed was she, that she didn't see the brief flash of Orange streak by her car until it was too late and it clipped her front bumper. She gasped and gripped the wheel as the impact knocked her car sideways, sitting there for a moment as her car came to a stop. BoJamesDuke Posted January 13, 2008 Report Share Posted January 13, 2008 Bo felt the jerk and swallowed, slamming on the General's brakes and looking to Luke."What the heck was that?!"Luke shook his head, turning and looking out the rear view mirror and swallowing hard."Oh no..."Bo paled a little as Luke muttered those words, thinking maybe he had hit a person, or an animal or something."Wh...Luke what...what's happened?!" He asked, too afraid to look back.Luke swallowed and shook his head."Bo...you clipped a car..."Bo frowned a little, a great deal of weight being lifted off his shoulders at the fact it wasn't serious, but not understanding why Luke was looking so worried."So...why so worried..."Luke sighed, looking to him"Because it was Judge Drutton's Daughter's car you clipped..."Bo's eyes widened before he looked back quickly and saw for himself what Luke was saying. Closing his eyes he groaned and leant his head on the steering wheel."I'm in trouble..."Luke sighed"C'mon we can't leave her here like this...we'll be in even more trouble..back him up..."Bo swallowed and nodded, throwing the General into reverse and backing up slowly back to where Rebecca was. Her headlight was slightly cracked and the paint had been scraped off, replacing it with an orange smear. Closing her eyes, she shook her head."Daddy is gonna kill me..." Cooter Davenport can have this knocked back into place in a couple of seconds, he'll fix your headlight too and then put a splash of paint over the orange and everything'll be great again won't it Bo...Bo...Bo?"Bo however was not paying attention to Luke but, as Luke had moved away, had properly seen Rebecca and now was transfixed. He said softly.Luke swallowed hard as he saw the look in Bo's eyes, having seen it only a couple of times before in all the time that he knew Bo...one of those had been when he had seen Diane...Bo was in love...and not the usual love a different girl a day either...proper love...she could break your heart so eaisly kinda love...and that was sure to cause nothing but trouble...Luke could feel it. Her eyes were captivating and her frame was neither too thin or too big...she was...perfect...Luke sighed as he saw the two connect again and smiled to Rebecca."Ma'am, we'll get Cooter here right away...c'mon Bo.."With that he turned and forcefully moved Bo back to the General. He was tall, blonde haired, blue eyed and by the looks of it extremly well built. He looked like exactly the right man for her...looked...she just needed to find out what he was like personality wise...she quickly shook her head though and forced herself back to reality. There was no way her father would allow a relationship with him.She sighed unhappily and looked down at the dusty road, kicking a small pebble around with her shoe as she leant against her car. It wasn't until he felt Luke's hands on his shoulders, shaking him that he looked to Luke.Luke sighed and shook his head once he had Bo's attention."Bo...stop this...stop this right now.."Bo frowned a little, shaking his head."Stop what..."Luke sighed and hung his head, rubbing the back of his neck before looking back to his baby brother...so naive and innocent..."You have to stop falling in love with her...she's Judge Drutton's daughter Bo..." The last boy she had fallen in love with had resulted in him being sent away...far away....the last she heard was that the boy was in the State Pen...Rebecca shivered at the mere thought that if she fell in love with Bo, something worse than that could happen to him and she didn't want that...he was too nice a guy and too many of those nice men had been sent to jail over her...she didn't feel she was worth the trouble. He too had heard the rumours of what had happened to all the boys that Rebecca had dated...or had tried to date...and they weren't exactly happy or fun sounding neither...The problem was...he was already hooked and Luke knew it too from the look in Bo's eyes.Luke sighed and shook his head, patting Bo's shoulder before leaning into the General and calling for Cooter on the CB. Cooter hung up the CB mic and climbed in his tow truck and back out of the garage slowly. Rebecca, in the meantime, was pondering about Bo. His eyes had already caught her's and she knew it. The problem was...was her father. But then she thought a bit more on the problem at hand, Her daddy was good friends with the Dukes too...she'd heard him talk about them before. BoJamesDuke Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 Bo sat on the hood of the General, his long legs allowing his feet to touch the ground and shift the dirt around with the toe of his boot as he pondered what move to make next. He knew Judge Druton liked him an' Luke, he had helped them out on several occasions...but he also knew no father in their right mind would ever let their daughter willingly date a Duke Boy. His and Luke's notorious past actions as younger men preceeded them and near every father in Hazzard County knew about it...he didn't see why Judge Druton would be any different... She stood up tall and straightened her dress out as she heard Cooter with the tow truck roar up beside the boys.Cooter propped his arm on the door. He looked out the window at the boys and with a slight smile."Of all people....it had to be the judge's daughter...."
