"M'sowwy I got us inta twouble Wuke..."

The boy wailed out.

"S'not yer fault Bo," answered the dark-haired boy quietly shamefully wiping away his tears.

Bo sniffed softly feeling more and more tired but too upset to take a nap.

Luke sighed. "Just sleep Bo...it'll be ok."

Bo shook his head under the covers, hugging his teddy bear tight as he trembled.

Luke sighed again before getting up and crssing over to Bo's bed, sitting down on it and pulling off the covers. "Come 'ere," he said softly his arms open.

Bo whimpered, curling more into a ball as the covers were removed before looking up as Luke spoke, seeing his arms outstretched to him. Sniffing, he crawled into Luke's lap and cuddled into him, thumb going into his mouth as his other arm clung to his teddy, tears still tracing their way down his cheeks.

Luke hugged him close rocking him a little as he did. "S'alright Bo..." he said softly, his hand gently pushing back the golden curls. "S'gonna be ok..."

Bo bit his lip a little, trembling as he asked quietly.

"Wuke...are we gonna get spanked?"

"Looks like it," answered Luke honestly, hugging Bo a little closer.

Bo choked on a sob, his voice raising an octave as he cried out.

"I dun wanna...I dun wanna wuke!"

"I know...I know Bo...I dun wanna neither," answered Luke rocking him gently.

It was a long time before Bo finally cried himself to sleep for his nap time, huddled in Luke's arms but still trembling softly.

Luke just held him as he slept, far too worried to sleep himself.

Bo continued to sleep and tremble throughout nap time, sucking on his thumb softly and clinging tight to his teddy bear.

Eventually Jesse came in looking at his two boys. "Boys...s'time we had a talk."

Luke swallowed hard nudging Bo a little who still was sleeping in his arms.

Bo shifted a little and blinked open his eyes sleepily, them soon growing wide with fright as he saw his Uncle, huddling more into Luke.

Jesse tried to look stern. "You both know better than to disoby me, no matter what your reasons," he began gruffer than he felt.

"Yes sir," muttered Luke.

Bo could do nothing more than nod as he sucked his thumb harder and clung more to his Teddy.

"I'm very disappointed in both of ya," Jesse continued.

Luke hung his head and nodded.

Bo sniffed, looking away and burying his face in Luke's shirt.

Luke held him protectively. "Was my fault Unca Jesse...I'm the one that wanted to use the slingshots...Bo was just copyin us," began Luke bravely, knowing how upset Bo already was.

"That don't make no difference..." he pointed at Bo, seeing the little boy huddled against Luke, still hiding his ace in his shirt. He cleared his throat and tried again. "You just..." he pointed at Luke whose cobalt-blue eyes shone with wetness as he held Bo close to him.

Jesse shook his head not able to punish them further. "Don't do it again," he said gruffly before leaving the room.

Bo swallowed softly, a full blown case of the hiccups starting as he heard the door shut and looked over the room, noticing Uncle Jesse had gone. Looking up to Luke in slight confusion, he wondered whether he uncle was just going to draw out the punishment or if the talking to had been it.

Luke watched as the door closed and looked at Bo. "I...I think that was it Bo..." he said softly hardly daring to believe it.

"R...re *hiccup* really?"

Bo asked softly, one hand still clutching tight to his teddy.
