Bo whimpered, curling more into a ball as the covers were removed before looking up as Luke spoke, seeing his arms outstretched to him. Sniffing, he crawled into Luke's lap and cuddled into him, thumb going into his mouth as his other arm clung to his teddy, tears still tracing their way down his cheeks.

Luke held him protectively. "Was my fault Unca Jesse...I'm the one that wanted to use the slingshots...Bo was just copyin us," began Luke bravely, knowing how upset Bo already was.

"That don't make no difference..." he pointed at Bo, seeing the little boy huddled against Luke, still hiding his ace in his shirt. He cleared his throat and tried again. "You just..." he pointed at Luke whose cobalt-blue eyes shone with wetness as he held Bo close to him.

Jesse shook his head not able to punish them further. "Don't do it again," he said gruffly before leaving the room.

Bo swallowed softly, a full blown case of the hiccups starting as he heard the door shut and looked over the room, noticing Uncle Jesse had gone. Looking up to Luke in slight confusion, he wondered whether he uncle was just going to draw out the punishment or if the talking to had been it.
