Luke shuffled his feet forward taking Bo's hand in his own tremblig one. "I...I'm..."

Bo shook his head a little, already feeling very worn out.

"No...my...my fault.."

Luke couldn't speak any more. He just held Bo's hand in both his own, biting his lip against the pain he felt inside.

Bo drew a shuddering breath as tears dripped down his cheeks.

"Please don't hate me Luke...please don't leave me..."

Luke looked at him, gulping a little. "I could never..."

Bo looked back at him as Luke couldn't finish his sentence, gripping as hard as he could to Luke's hand.

Luke held his hand tightly, tears welling in his eyes.

Bo shifted a little with a wince, pulling Luke closer so that he could hug him with the arm that wasn't suspened in traction and encased in a cast.

Luke bent over him, though hardly putting any weight on him. "I'm sorry," he murmured behind a trail of tears. "I'm sorry..."

"Don't be...not your fault..."

Bo murmured back into his older cousins shoulder.

Luke just held on tight afraid that if he let go, Bo might disappear for good.

**End Flashback**

Bo swallowed softly as he and he knew at least Jesse recalled the events of that night and the weeks that followed. They hadn't been pleasent and not what the family like to reminice on. Softly, Bo stroked the back of Luke's neck some more and whispered kind, gentle things in his ear as he kept his other arm wrapped tightly around him.

Luke responded to the soothing caresses on his neck as he always did, moaning softly and huddling that much more into Bo.

Bo sighed and held him close, rocking him softly as he rested his head on top of Luke's.

Jesse looked at his two nephews with pride. True, he had taught his kids to love one another, like the Good Book said, but it ws times like these he realized just how much all three of his youngins had taken that teaching to heart.

Daisy smiled and cuddled up with Jesse as she watched Bo slowly drift off under his own rocking too, sighing softly.

Jes hugge his niece gently. It was a cold cold night, but the amount of love in the room made everyone warm as toast.

Daisy shook her head softly.

"You know...with them asleep like that...they almost look innocent..."

Jesse nodded. "Almost" he said gruffly.

Daisy shook her head, looking to her Uncle with a giggle

"Was there ever a time they was innocent?"

"Once maybe...when they was real real young..." said Jesse.

"Really? When?"

Daisy asked, settling down to hear another story. As much as she loved to hear Bo and Luke's memories, Uncle Jesse's of her and the boys when they were too young to remember what was going on back then were even nicer.

Jesse smiled. "Well now...seems t' me I remember a time that Bo tried to hatch an egg..."

Daisy looked to him in surprise

"He did?! I never knew about that..."

Jesse nodded. "Let's see I think Bo was about three at the time..."
