"Heck Hughie Hogg can't pull off a dry look either...he's still as ugly as a possum's fanny," said Luke "Course....I should't be so mean t the poor possum," he added.

Luke pretended to take a whiff of him. "Coulda fooled me...ya smell like ya live in there with her..." he teased, a half-grin on his face.

"S'only because I's been hangin' round with you...your smell rubs off on me..." replies with a smirk of his own.

Jesse chuckled. "Well I s'pose if ya never did it them birds wouldn't know what to do with themselves."

A loud crash of thunder rocked the house, Luke's hands immediately going in front of his face in his sleep.

Bo swallowed and looked over, biting his lip.

"Daisy move away from him..."

Daisy frowned a little and swiftly moved away while Bo scrambled forward and held Luke close.

"S'alright Buddy..."

"Bo....you be careful," warned Jesse watching Luke's hands.

Another boom sounded, and with it Luke tensed in his sleep, his hands shielding his head this time with the blanket, his heart racing though no one but Bo who was holding him could feel it.

***flashback****

Luke lay in his bed his hands shielding his face, crying out, "No! No!" Jerking about on the bed he tossed and turned so much he knocked himself straight onto the floor, his hands still to his head, clenched into fists, huddled into a ball. "No!"

Bo jerked up in bed, swallowing as he saw Luke once more on the floor, thrashing around. He knew what Luke had told him about waking him up....knew what Uncle Jesse had said...knew what had been happening to himself, his ribs compained often enough...but he couldn't just sit and watch Luke like that.

Swallowing hard he crossed to Luke and attemtped to grab his flailing hands.

"Luke...Lukas its me... Bo....Lukas c'mon.."

Bo landed against the opposite wall with a loud thud, smacking his head against said wall hard enough to make him near black out. His mouth was bleeding and he was sure he had broken ribs this time. Swallowing however, he stumbled back to Luke and touched his shoulder softly.

"Luke please listen...please...its me...its Bo..."

Bo sighed and tried to grab Luke's flailing wrists knowing that if he didn't get Luke under some sort of restraint then he was going to hurt himself which would defeat the whole purpose of Bo trying to wake him up in the first place.

Swallowing he caught one of Luke's arms and joined their hands, trying desperatly to reach the other.

"Come on cousin help me out here..."

Bo jerked backwards as the arm came out at him, grabbing it and holding that one two, holding Luke's hands in his own and struggling with him.

"Luke...c'mon now listen to me Lukas..."

Bo swallowed hard as he heard his cousin beg, something he had very rarely ever heard Luke do. Sighing he lessend the grips softly on his hands.

"You are home cousin...its just a dream..."
