February 2, 200818 yr Thunder boomed again loudly, rain pounding against the windows. "Maybe I better build us an ark..."
February 2, 200818 yr Author Bo chuckled at that, glancing away from the photo book to the rain outside, amazed at how such a nice start to the day could turn so quickly to being something so monstorous and damaging.
February 2, 200818 yr Jesse nodded. "Well, least we's all inside with a good roof over our heads."It was then that the thunder boomed again, lightning flashed and all the electricity went out.
February 2, 200818 yr Author "But apparently with no electricity that can hold out..." Bo said back with a chuckle.
February 2, 200818 yr Author Bo soon joined in the hunt, even though he would have rather stayed cuddled up safe in the blankets.
February 2, 200818 yr Luke soon came back, lighting candles and setting them around the room the flickering flames causing shadows to dance on the walls.
February 3, 200818 yr Author Bo brought back the few he had found as well, putting them where Luke hadn't put any candles and sitting back down for Luke to light them.
February 3, 200818 yr Once Luke had finished lighting the candles, he went back to his place by the fire. "S'gettin colder," he reported
February 3, 200818 yr Luke smiled looking over to Bo before taking a blanket of his own and wrapping it around him, as the wind started shaking the farmhouse. "This is gonna do some amage by the sounds," said Jesse with an ear to the storm.
February 3, 200818 yr Author Bo shrugged a little"Never mind, just give me an' Luke some unusual work t'do...doin' the same chores is gettin' so easy we could do em with our eyes closed..."He said with a chuckle, showing that he was only joking.
February 3, 200818 yr Jesse gave him a look. "By the sounds we's gonna need some re-shinglin done...at least..."
February 3, 200818 yr Jesse looked at Bo, all wrapped up like an eskimo. "That reminds me of the night Bo was born..."Luke looked at him, loving stories by their uncle as much as any of them.
February 3, 200818 yr Author Bo looked over, a little confused, not understanding where the recollection had come from."Huh? What does?"
February 3, 200818 yr Author "Oh..."Bo replied with a small smile, lowering the blanket from his head and letting it wrap around his shoulders."Sorry...just....makes me feel secure is all..."
February 3, 200818 yr Author Lavinia smiled as she came out the bedroom to where a now 4 year old Luke, Kevin and Rebecca were."Well he's here..."
February 3, 200818 yr "How are they?" asked Rebecca worriedly, knowing what a hard delivery it had been.
February 3, 200818 yr Author Lavinia sighed softly"Well mother's exhausted...and baby's havin' a bit of trouble breathing...we might have to move him to the hospital.."
February 3, 200818 yr "Poor little baby..." said Luke softly.Kevin placed his hand on Luke's dark curls. "How bad is it?"
