"Heck Hughie Hogg can't pull off a dry look either...he's still as ugly as a possum's fanny," said Luke "Course....I should't be so mean t the poor possum," he added.

Luke pretended to take a whiff of him. "Coulda fooled me...ya smell like ya live in there with her..." he teased, a half-grin on his face.

"Let's just say....that that thing you and Uncle Jesse didn't want me to know about when I was a kid that you were already doing...I got graphic vocal lessons about..."

Bo replied with a smirk.

Bo frowned and watched Daisy a moment before looking to Jesse in confusion, to which Jesse shook his head with a small smile.

"She's right boys but Daisy just you calm down, its not that funny..."

As the thunder boomed through the farmhouse, Bo near jumped out of his skin, swallowing as he looked out the window and saw that the sky had gotten darker with the heavy clouds if that were even possible.

Bo nodded a little, turning back around and snuggling down into his blankets more, hating that he was such a coward over this natural phenomenom. He couldn't help it...ever since that one night hsi fear of storms had developed and had never gone away.

****Flashback****

It had begun like any other night on the Duke Farm- only it was unlike any other night. The wind was howling, promising a dilly of a storm and Luke and Bo were in the barn, helping their uncle make the dwelling water-tight and secure.

Nine year old Luke was busy pounding more nails into the wood, at the same time glancing over to his six year old cousin Bo who, as always, was anxiously helpful, bu of little help. He was so cute and sweet though that neither he nor Jesse had the heart to tell him to go inside.

Bo was sat happily on the floor with his own plastic tools, pretending to help by banging on the wood Luke had already banged some nails into. In reality he wasn't doing anything to help the work being done, but in his own little mind he was making sure what luke had done was secure so Luke didn;t get in trouble if it wasn't. His little tongue was poking out the side of his mouth as he concentrated on the task at hand, not bothered by the storm or the noises it was making.

Jesse looked over at his two boys, each so focused on the job at hand. "Luke...I'm just gonna go in and check on Daisy....you finish up out here and bring Bo inside..."

"Yes sir," said Luke pounding more nails in as his uncle left.

Bo didn't hear what his Uncle had said, too absorbed in the task he was doing. Once he finished one spot, he crawled along a little further and started on another spot without saying a word.
