"Or call Cooter in town and get him to distract Bo before Daisy gets there!"

Jaime exclaimed, her mind working frantically.

Luke nodded. "let's make some calls then."

Jaime nodded and hurriedly picked up the phone again, dialling Cooter's number for him.

Luke meanwhile hobbled over to the phone muttering his thanks to his daughter as , supported by the crutches, he held the phone in his hand.

It wasn't long before Cooter picked up the phone, and his cheery voice answered.

"You got the Cooter Davenport here, what can I do fer ya?"

"Cooter...it's Luke...I need a favor..."

"Well anytime anyplace you know that buddyroe, what ya need this time?"

Cooter asked, leaning against the wall and wiping his hands as he cradled the phone to his ear with his shoulder.

"I need you to find Bo....and stall him...." said Luke adamently.

"Stall Bo Duke....what mood is he in?"

Cooter asked, throwing the rag down.

"A bad one...a very bad one," answered Luke.

Cooter sighed and nodded, seeing Bo tearing into the town square.

"Yeah I can tell...he just pulled up...I'll do my best buddy..."

"Im obliged Cooter...i'll fill ya in soon" said Luke hanging up before calling Daisy for help.

Bo slid out the General, still mad enough to chew nails although the ride there in the General had calmed him somewhat, heading over to the lawyers office.

Cooter ran over to him. "Bo! Hey Buddy how are ya?!"

"Busy."

Bo replied shortly as he carried on walking.

Cooter dodged in front of him. "Now hold on there buddyroe...there's uh...somethin I need your help with...an...an it cant wait."

Bo clenched his jaw and put his hands on his hips as he looked to Cooter.

"Well this can't wait either Cooter!"

Cooter began to think desperately. "But...but Bo...this is....this is about a family member an...." Cooter swallowed. "Bo there's some things that you should know...."he added hoping to God the word family might work.

Bo sighed and looked up to the sky before looking to Cooter again, shaking his head before saying as he headed to the garage.

"Fine but I got some real important stuff to do so make it quick would ya..."

Cooter swallowed nodding. He knew what he was about to do was betraying a trust, but truth was, he felt Bo should know about it anyway...he just hoped the other Duke involved would forgive him.

Bo sat down in the chair in Cooter's office, folding his arms.

"Alright what's so all fired important.."

Cooter frowned, half tempted to make up a lie but knowing Bo would see right through it. "It...it's about Luke..."

Bo sighed and shook his head.

"What about him? You gonna tell me he broke his foot? I do know that Cooter..."

"No...no...it's a bit more than that" confessed Cooter looking down.

Bo's frown deepened and he sat up a little straighter.

"What d'ya mean its a little more than that..."
