"No....no its not...he can set a time but you dont have to be there...you just gotta fight..."

Bo half tried to reason and half tried to beg.

Jesse looked to him looking as old as he felt. "I've been fighting a long time son....I'm tired."

"But...but what...will I do without you...I...I already don't know what to do and neither does Luke!"

Bo exclaimed, more and more emotion welling.

"You'll be there for each other...an Daisy...be the family...I taught ya t be."

"But its different now! Luke's got Jaime...he's got Jaime to think about...I...Troy...Troy's my son...but I dont want to take him..."

Bo admitted, tears streaking.

"I don't know what to do!"

Jesse looked at Bo seeing as always his baby boy. "There's ...some...choices...a man has t make...fer himself."

Bo shook his head,squeezing Jesse's hand.

"I can't...I can't do it..."

"What do you ...want...to do...in youre heart...forget your head...and what you think...what ...do you want to do...?"

Bo's bottom lip quivered, swallowing hard.

"I want...us both to be happy...but...that's not possible..."

Jesse squeezed his hand. "You know...Luke...was Troy's age...when he came t' me..." reflected Jesse softly. "An...an I felt much the same you do."

Bo frowned and shook his head.

"What..."

Jesse sighed. "I loved him...but...but I had my doubts about bein' a parent...I ain't never been one...an suddenly I got a little one I'm responsible for...an one so sad that wouldn't hardly say two words at that."

Bo bit his lip a little, looking away as he wiped away the tears from his cheeks.

Jesse sighed. "I'll tell ya somethin else too. I kick myself every day for bein so selfish...cuz that's all it was. There I had a little tyke, needin a daddy...an' there I was...so caught up in my moonshinin an' my own agenda that..." he swallowed hard. "f it weren't for your aunt, Luke wouldn't be a Duke today. In fact, " his voice quivered. "I had driven him to the orphanage...and though he forgave me...I never forgave myself..."

Bo swallowed hard, biting his lip but still not looking up to Jesse.

Jesse sighed hard knowing that he had just dropped a few pegs in the view of his youngest.

Bo blinked his eyes softly and looked up to him.

"But I don't have Auntie..."

"No..." sighed Jesse softly. "But ya got Luke...an Daisy..."

"Uncle Jesse...please...will you meet him...and...tell me what you think..."

Bo begged softly, biting his lip.

Jesse smiled and nodded softly.

Bo swallowed and nodded, standing up.

"Don't...don't go...no where...okay?"

"Okay son," he said softly.

Bo swallowed and nodded, heading out the room and up to where Troy was, wondering what on earth was going to happen.

Troy was sleeping softly in his bed his little arms wrapped around his bear.

Bo sighed as he stood in the doorway, glad to see at least that Troy had stayed put.
