"Not yet..." answered Troy.

"He won't neither...Dukes keep their promises," said Luke.

Bo nodded

"That's right,...now you just get some shut eye...and i'll be back here as soon as I can..."

Troy noddd and quickly closed his eyes, rationalizing the sooner he went to sleep the sooner Bo would be back.

Bo smiled and ruffled his hair gently, getting off the bed.

"I'll be back as soon as I can..."

"Kay" said Troy sleepily.

Luke hobbled out the door.

Bo smiled and followed Luke out, leading him down to the truck.

Luke hopped into the truck and once more handed his crutches to Bo.

Bo placed the crutches in the back and shut Luke's door before getting into the drivers side and driving away*

Luke leaned silently on the seat his leg stretched out in front of him, absorbed in thought.

Bo didn't notice, lost in his own thoughts and in the concentration of driving.

Eventually Luke fell asleep worn out wih the events of the day.

Bo drove Luke all the way back to the farm, carrying him inside with a look telling Jesse and Daisy to let him rest and he'd answer questions once he was laying down asleep.

Luke lay limp in Bo's arms as he was carried inside, hardly noticing that he was being moved.

Bo carefully laid Luke down on his bed and removed his shirt. He thought it best to leave the shorts on though as he doubted he would be able to get Luke's sleep pants over the cast.

Once Luke was tucked in safe and asleep with the casted foot resting on a pillow, he headed out the room quietly and to where Jesse and Daisy were.

Jesse looked up as Bo came into the room. "Well? How is he?"

Bo nodded with a small smile.

"He's just fine, tired and missing his girlfriend already I recon but...he'll be fine. He's gotta stay off his foot for a while and take it easy though."

Daisy looked at him. "His girlfriend?!"

Bo nodded with a smile.

"Yeah...but I ain't spillin' no details. You'll have ta ask him..."

"You two sure work fast..." observed Daisy.

"Hey now, I didn't make a move on anyone. This one nurse made a move on me, asked Luke to give me her phone number..." He said with a grin, holding up the small piece of paper.

Jesse scoffed.

Daisy giggled. "You gonna call her?"

Bo nodded a little

"Maybe...once I found out who the girl is anyway...I'm not one for blind dates to be honest an' besides...I have to go back to the hospital anyways...so where's Jamie...I would have thought she'd be here waiting for her dad to get home..."

Jesse looked to him. "I think she's in the barn."

Bo frowned a little.

"In the barn? How come?"

Jesse shrugged. "I dunno."
