Troy's lip trembled. "I wouldn't mind so much...if Mama was here."

Bo bit his lip a little, reaching out and touching Troy's leg.

"If you want...me an' Luke could stay with ya..."

Troy looked at him. "W-will ya?"

Bo nodded gently.

"Yeah sure..."

Troy bit his lip and slowly crossed over to Bo, hugging him.

Bo was a little taken aback but he hugged Troy close, rubbing his back.

"It's gonna be ok..."

Troy didn't know what it was that made him hug Bo. He never would have hugged a stranger if his life depended on it. But Bo Duke didn't seem a stranger to him.

Bo bit his lip, just hugging Troy close before pulling away softly.

"Now...lets get this done..."

Troy bit his lip and nodded a little running his hand through the soft blond curls that always fell over his eyes.

Bo nodded back with a soft smile before crawling out from under the bush, helping Troy out before lifting him into his arms and starting to carry him back to the hospital.

Troy hugged him as he was carried, feeling for the first time in a long time that everything might be ok.

Bo headed back to where he had left Luke and the truck, looking in to Luke.

"Hey Luke...you think we can go in with Troy while he lets the doc's check him over?"

Luke looked at him with Troy in his arms and nodded. "Sure thing." He fumbled with his crutches and hopped down.

Bo shut the truck door and locked it before heading inside slowly with Luke to seek out Troy's doctors. He didn't think they'd be too hard to find...they were probably the ones that were running around frantically more than the rest of the doctors.

Troy hid his face against Bo. Even the sight of the hospital and all the white coats gave him the willies.

"S'ok Troy," said Luke patting the boy's head.

Bo held him a little closer, rubbing his back gently as he saw a doctor look up at them and hurry over as he caught sight of the boy.

"Oh thank goodness....thank you very much sir for bringing this little guy back..."

Bo nodded a little but didn't relinquish his hold on Troy.

"It's alright...i'll be staying with Troy to help him out and so will my cousin otherwise I'm taking him out of here..."

Luke swallowed wondering what on earth made Bo say such a thing.

Whatever it was made Troy latch onto Bo more than ever, feeling that Bo would take care of him.

The doctor frowned a little but nodded, leading Bo with Troy and Luke down to the little boy's room.

Luke hobbled along behind them, not missing the contented look in Troy's eyes.

Troy's arms were wrapped around Bo tight, as if he had known him all his life.

Bo carried Troy to his room, gently laying him out on the bed and sitting beside him, stroking through his hair softly.

"It's gonna be ok..."

Troy leaned against his pillow his bottom lip quivering. "Promise ya won't leave?"

Luke shook his head. "Course we won't."

Bo shook his head as well, taking Troy's hand softly.

"I promise we won't leave Troy...its gonna be ok..."

Troy hugged the hand close to him like he would a teddy bear, if he had one.

Bo sighed gently, seeing the doctors setting up a few needles. He swallowed gently, glancing to Luke....he was going to need a little help with this too...even if the needles weren't pointed at him....he still was terrified of them.

Luke hobbled over so that he stood near Bo, putting a supportive hand on his shoulder. "S'gonna be alright..." he said to them both.
