"Alright I'll be there in a little while..." Jesse promised before they said the goodbyes and hung up.

Bo pushed away from the wall.

"So..."

"He's on his way."

Bo nodded and headed back to the waiting room with him

"What're you gonna tell him?"

"Got me..."

Bo laughed, putting his arm around Luke's shoulders.

"You'll think o'somethin'..."

"Wish I was as sure about that as you are."

Bo grinned, sitting down and stretching out his long legs.

"You always do...even if yer old age sometimes gets in the way of it comin' to ya quickly..."

Luke smirked. "Cute."

Bo grinned back

"Ain't I just..."

Luke rolled his eyes and shook his head.

It wasn't too long before Jesse stepped into the waiting room, smiling.

"There's my boys..."

Bo looked up and smiled, crossing over to him and hugging him.

"We're ok Uncle Jesse..."

Luke stood up. He was preparing himself for a tongue lashing at the very least.

Jesse hugged Bo before looking to Luke and opening his arms to him.

Luke went to his arms hugging him close before pulling quickly away.

"So...what kind of thing are ya needin' my help for Luke?"

Jesse asked gently, getting straight down to the point now that he knew his kids were safe and well.

Luke quickly explained the situation. "We gotta help her."

Jesse nodded, mulling over what Luke had said.

"That we do..."

"I thought about...trying to get custody of her," admitted Luke quietly.

Jesse looked over to his eldest and regarde him silently. He had grown a lot over the years and his maturity and common sense were well above that of his age....but sometimes he could be just as ruled by his heart as Bo could when he had a mind.

"Luke...taking custody of a child is a huge responsibility..."

"I know it," agreed Luke. "I just...I can't bare to think of her livin like that, when we've got room...and plenty of love to spare." It wasn't often that Luke spoke this way and he knew he had their attention. "It isn't fair...and it ain't right."

Jesse nodded, pleased on the one hand that Luke felt so sure and strongly about what he was doing but concerned on the other hand that maybe Luke would be letting himself in for more than he could handle...not only did this girl have a secret that needed to be protected but she would also have a fair amount of emotional scarring from the abuse she had suffered...that on top of the stress of everything that had happened may just prove her to be more of a responsibility than Luke anticipated.

It wasn't that he didn't want Luke to do this...in fact he couldn't be prouder that Luke was considering this...he just wanted to make sure Luke understood and knew what he was letting himself in for.

"I hear what yer sayin' Luke an' I agree with ya there....thing is son...there is more to lookin' after a child than givin' it a place to say an' love to nourish it...there's gonna be very hard patches, especially with her, that you're gonna have to go through that will undoubtledly but strain on your relationship with her sometimes...and you'll have to quit yer skirt chasin' every night with Bo...she's gonna need ya....there's gonna be a lot yer gonna have to give up Luke..."

Luke sighed and nodded. "I know...but I also know that if ya don't like the way something is, it ain't gonna change itself."

Jesse nodded

"You know that i'll support whatever decision you make son...and i'll help ya in any way I can...we all will....but all I ask is that ya properly think this over before you do anythin'..."

Luke nodded. "I will."

Jesse smiled back and nodded, patting his shoulder.
