His eyes widen as he sees the blood. "No...no!" Quickly he whipped out his handkerchief and held it to the wound standing with her in his arms. "We gotta get help!"

Bo stood up too, looking around with a swallow

"Luke...we's in the middle of no where..."

Luke shook his head. '"There's gotta be somethin we can do!" he exclaimed, tears welling in his eyes.

Bo looked to his cousin, alarmed by the tears in his eyes. Swallowing he tried to wrack his brains, knowing that Luke wasn't going to think of anything soon. Biting his lip, he said to him

"You stay here and keep an eye on her....I'll run ahead and find the state police...they gotta be looking around here for us..."

"Bo...you'll get lost...an those fellas are still around..."

Bo shook his head.

"Luke...its the only chance Jaime's got..."

Luke looked down at Jaime and nodded. "Be careful...I don't wanna lose ya..."

Bo nodded and patted his shoulder befoe running off into the woods, having a wierd sense of direction, like someone telling him where to go.

Luke sat in the grass hugging Jaime close to him and rocking her. "Hang on sweetheart...Bo'll get help...you just hang on."

Jaime looked to him, the pain clear in her young eyes, unable to bring any words to her lips.

Luke's lip quivered as he held her. This wasn't right. She had been through so much already...and now... she'd been hurt...savig Luke...who had promised to save her.

Jaime swallows, closing her eyes as the pain started to become too much for her to cope with conciously.

Luke saw the pain in her eyes. "Jaime...hold on ...please Darlin...just hold on..."

Jaime closed her eyes completly and went limp in Luke's arms, still breathing but unconcious.

"Jaime! Jaime don't you do this...don't you leave me..."

Jaime didn't give an answer nor did she move in his arms, just laying limp in his hold as they both awaited the help that Bo was trying to reach.

Eventually, Bo ran back with an ambulance crew and a few police officers.

"Luke! They caught Harve, they had an ambulance crew out already cause they found blood on his knife.."

Luke nodded a little as the crew loaded Jaime in to the ambulance, swallowing hard.

Bo sighed and put a hand on his shoulder, squeezing softly.

"You gonna go with her?"

Luke nodded. "You stay close?" he asked sounding more like a scared child on the first day of school.

Bo swallowed and nodded.

"I'm gonna follow in a cop car. No matter how much I inisit i'm alright apparently all hostages gotta get checked out."

he said with a roll of his eyes.

"Listen to em," he pleaded. He supposed they'd want to check him out to, but he wasn't going to leave Jaime..."

Bo nodded

"I will, I promise....just go with Jaime....she hasn't got time to hang around..."

Luke nodded and climbed into the ambulance taking hold of Jaime's hand. The paramedics shut the door as the ambulance sped off sirens blaring.

**Hours Later**

Bo walked into the waiting room with a smile, heading over to Luke, smiling and putting a hand on his shoulder as he stood up worriedly.

"I'm alright Luke, clean bill o'health."

Luke sat back down in relief. He had been sitting in the waiting room worrying himself sick. Now at least one of his worries was unsubstantiated. He let out a long shaky breath.
