Thanks everyone! you got me on that one bud but maybe some of the Brainiacs in here ( like Hoss or Roger) will know. If not, I'd suggest Google it. RogerDuke 1 Quote
HossC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'm afraid I can't help much. I'm not even sure if they were sold over here. I did find a 2012 article on the Dukes of Hazzard Collector blog where someone restored one of these pedal cars. As far as I can see, he just fixed the steering, cleaned it up and got someone to recreate the decals. There's no mention of a sound module. Maybe you can find someone selling a trashed car with a working module. I did find one seller on eBay asking $5,000 for a car "in working condition and in good shape for being 43 yrs old.". As far as I can tell, that's with fading decals and without a box! BTW. Had anyone at Coleco ever seen a '69 Dodge Charger? I understand that making an open pedal car isn't going to produce an exact replica, but the front looks more like a '69 Pontiac GTO, there's a spoiler on the trunk and the wheels are completely wrong. At least their 1984 KITT looks like a Trans Am. Quote
