Webb Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM I just wanted to share my experience meeting John Schneider. I bought 2 VIP tickets to one of his concerts that included a photo and 2 signatures per person. At arrival waiting in line to meet John his manager inspects your things and says that die-cast are not included it has to be flat item (CD, License Plate, Photo). We asked why it mattered what the signature went on he said it should've listed on our tickets (but it wasn’t). We drove 12 hours to meet him so I wasn’t leaving without him signing my die-cast general that the rest of the cast members have signed. So needless to say we were charged an extra $100 USD which was unexpected as the rest of the cast only charged me $20. But John was very nice and talked with us and joked around and he will sign items that you buy personally from him. The concert was more of a show n tell stories about Smokey and The Bandit, Jackie Gleason, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings talked about his movies and sing a few songs. But overall we did have a good time and he had his general Lee with him. Hobie Hartkins 1 Quote

My brother gets autographs of actors in play programs at the theater when he visits. His collection includes some big names including knights and dames, and not one has ever asked for a cent! Thanks for the post, Webb, and I'm glad you got to meet John, but this feels totally against the spirit of the show. Quote
