General Lee-inspired car on Burnout Paradise (two types)

I've played this game to death so am pretty much done with it, but it sure was fun to play with General Lee as my main car (well, not really as it's missing the Rebel Flag).

Well, it's no General Lee. But since it makes folks think about the Dukes of Hazzard I like it.

That O1 style instead of 01 is like the '05 movie Pre Cooter version.

It's like the '05 movie Pre Cooter version with no flag and O1 instead of 01.

Yeah, and it has the iconic horn sound. I'd always play it whenever I jumped over whatever.

I was watching an '80s British sitcom the other night when they briefly introduced a character who was meant to be a bit loud and brash. He came around the corner in bright red Ford Capri (like the top one here - I don't think this generation was available in the US) and then came the Dixie horn. It was a nice little surprise.

It was meant to be the European equivalent of the Mustang, and was even designed by one of the Mustang design team, although the first generation models built in South Africa were the only ones available with a V8. The models we had were all 4-cylinders and V6s. Ford did sell some Capris in the US under the Mercury brand. They were very popular over here, especially after being featured in action shows like 'The Professionals':
